To Tina and the Team - Thank you for all the work you did over the years. I am sorry that the site appears to be closed. Prior to my cancer, I enjoyed working on the platform and, since then, I have returned a few times as a customer. I hope this is a temporary blip and wish you all well.

I was disapointed with fivesquid . They took money from buyer and didn't give it to me as a seller ,although my 6 project had all completed and all sent to buyer.
They didn't gave a warning at all to seller about their company . They had just disappeared like a ghost and took my money . Disgrace

Its planned to be a scam. They wanted to collect money and left what a disgrace!
You never be successful with such tactics. Such a shame Terry!

I was shocked when I clicked on the site and realized that it had disappeared. This is pure fraud. I paid for a project that is not finished, now neither the seller nor I have contacts. He's unlikely to get his money. Hope you have a logical explanation and refund people. The site was cheaply made without the necessary support. I was suspicious at first.

It's hard to believe that a website as big as FivesQuid has just gone without any warning to its buyers and sellers. Like many others, who trusted this website - I have lost out! Disgrace.

I had 3 sellers either turn work away or not even respond to me over a 1 week period at the beginning of September. I did go to Fiverr in the end, but I had money owing to me from Fivesquid in way of a refund. I waited for the refund for 2 weeks and nothing. Now I find out today that they've ghosted everyone. If they have gone bust, just like any big business, they knew months in advance what was happening and still, they took buyers' money and robbed sellers.As I say, if this is the case the very least they could do is put buyers and sellers in touch so work can be completed etc.

The company notified the buyer that it could not operate the company. However, they did not inform freelancers. Additionally, the money earned by users cannot be withdrawn since the website was shut down without notice. Therefore, it is an absolute demonstration of dishonest business practices.

I have been a freelance proofreader with Fivesquid since 2015. They were always a reliable company. On 19th September 2022 their website went 'down for maintenance', with no way to contact them. My clients do not give me their contact details according to the rules at Fivesquid, so I have lost revenue that was due to me. The client I was working for when the site went down also lost revenue They had already paid without receiving the completed work.

This sudden dropping of the website without any warning or emailing the freelancers or customers is disgraceful. I did not believe this company could act this way. What an atrocious scam!

I am now getting spammed via your email system from your clients. Please look into this. I never gave permission for you to distribute my email address.

I have been using Fivesquid for a few years, and everything was fine. However, an email stating the site's foreclosure due to the cost of running and having no cash flow for administration was sent out a few weeks ago, and they are no longer processing payments.

If you order, you will not get your money back, and the freelancer will not get paid.

Despite the statement of the site shutting down, it is still running.

Avoid until further notice from the CEO (which is unlikely at this point!)

I am a freelancer and have been using Fivesquid for a few years. Sadly, in recent months there have been longer and longer delays in processing payment for services provided. The excuses have been poor, to say the least making their problems my problems. My last 2 withdrawals have required numerous messages to chase up. It has become obvious that Fivesquid does not have an automated payment system for freelancers

Three emails ignored my money has cleared no issues with buyer but fivesquid aren’t sending me my money or responding . Who do I complain to now?

Your website is closing because your bogus policies. You never approved many freelancers GIGs. and if freelancers complaint then your support person always rude replied. And you never looked into these things.

You all support persons was too much rude. They are not polite talking with Freelancers and result is you are now forcing to close your company.

It is your support system's bad work. now the result you are closing your business.

I do not know if it is your fault or your Support system faults. But I think you must learn about this.

I was skeptical about the site and thought it might be a scam however, after placing few orders, I became confident about its originality.
The best thing about this site is, it's almost 5x cheaper than Fiverr with same quality of work.
