Horrible customer service, don't buy any ticket from them.

Don't book any ticket from FlightHub. Very bad customer service. My husband and I bought 2 tickets from FlightHub, from Vancouver to Israel(a round trip), then we changed our mind, and we decided to reroute our trip, now we are going to Isreal, then to Turkey. When we talked to them, they said we should pay few hundreds dollars more to reroute our trip. I reserved a place in turkey, and then called FlightHub again, we talked to another agent, and he said there is no way to reroute, and we have to cancel the first tickets, pay $800 cancellation fee, and buy 2 tickets to new destinations. They charged us $800 cancellation fee, they booked 2 tickets for me and my husband. We supposed to travel together; I just found our flight number is different. I called them and explained the mistake, that was actually done by their agent, to one of them called CLARK. He ended my call; It seems they put my number on their auto reject list, so I wasn't able to call them again. I called them again by a hidden number, they ended my call again. Anyway, after calling for almost 2 hours, they forward me to other numbers, over and over, and last time I called I asked to talk to the same guy (CLARK), they said there is no one there called CLARK.
It is a SCAM, never ever use it.

Impressed with the ease in booking & getting a full refund.

I booked a flight for 3 from Maui to Honolulu in Feb & found out in Apr that Mesa Airlines had folded. I phoned Flighthub, was put on hold, told my story, he transferred me to another department, was put on hold, she checked my info & asked if I wanted to rebook the flight on another airline or get a refund. The time I was on hold was no longer than any other business I've dealt with & the lady apologized. I took the refund as my sister wanted to book the new flight to get the airmiles. The refund was for the full amount. My sister who had booked with a travel agent only got about 75% of what she paid. I definitely would use this company again! As a matter of fact my sister booked our new flight on Flighthub too.

Poor Customer Service & Communication

It has been 28 days since I acted on my Best Purchase Guarantee and I am still waiting for confirmation that my flight charges are going to be refunded. Flighthub website directs you to email or phone them to use your guarantee but they are now in week four of very one-sided negotiations with me about whether they will accept my email or not. Please note, that this is only because I have continually phoned and emailed them over the past four weeks. They have very poor communication with their customers. My lawyer is now preparing documentation for me to present them with. They are very quick to charge your credit cards, but not so quick to refund you!! By the way, good luck getting direct contact numbers or email addresses for a Manager. Every time I call, I have to go through the 1-800 # and wait on hold. I have probably spent over three hours on the phone with them over the past four weeks and with no satisfaction that I'm getting my refund.

Rude and unacceptable

I booked a ticket on flight hub on the 3rd of December 2013 for July 2014 since I was getting a cheap deal I said why not. On the 5th of December the price went down and I called to see if I get get the difference back I was told sorry too bad cannot be done. I asked what was the purchase grunted or insurance that you charged me cover I was told not price changes. I asked if I can cancel the ticket was told its non refundable too bad. In short there customer service feels like they are doing a favour on you by talking to you feels like they are slapping you over the phone.

Anyways I was just looking at my booking today and saw many changes on it I called the office to ask what it was for I was told it is scheduled changes by the airlines and you need to speak to the scheduling department which is closed and they will call you back tom. I asked the person what is the change about and when were you going to inform me about it he said we can cancel it and give you a full refund or try to do something about it I tried to tell him that sir I booked 6 months in advance so I get a cheap fare now if I cancel it who will pay the difference for the new fare again was told it's the airlines they cannot do anything about it and wait for a call tom.

I have to go for my wedding and I am expected to wait at the airport for 30 hrs in transit because the airlines expected to change my outbound travel from Jeddah airport to the next day and inbound transit increased from 4 hrs to 13 hrs. Who is going to pay for the overhead expenditure like food and stuff and how can they expect a passenger to be left at the airport for 30 hrs for the next flight it's just not right.

If I cancel this ticket I have to issue a new ticket and pay an additional of $700 for the same. Who is going to bear that cost? Why should I be penalized for it.

Flight hub can reply back saying that it's the airline who changed the booking we are sorry for it and ca give you a refund but will they give me another ticket for the same fare? No right so sorry does not help me here!!!!

Worst site for airplane ticket... Customer service is awfull. Don't make business with them... People at customer service are rude inefficient and incompetent.

Terrible customer service and overpriced

My husband wanted to move his flight from May 13th to April 15th. He had to call 3 times just to get someone who could actually help him. They wanted to charge us over $1000 to move the flight to a different day, $700 for the flight and $300 in fees. That's outrageous. We paid $1300 for the ticket and all we wanted to do was fly the same route on a different day. I did the same thing with Air Canada in December, I moved my flight from the 24th to the 16th and they did it for me no problem and it cost $90. I will never book with FlightHub again.

Disappointing customer service...

After reading the reviews here about being cut off multiple times, I thought it was just a few people with bad experiences. I screwed up on my ticket, my bad. After calling at least five times and explaining the situation and being cut off each time I was put on hold or transferred, I got that sinking feeling things were gonna get worse. I finally talked to a wonderful lady name Ana who actually stayed on the phone the whole time, recommended a refund with the penalty and just re-book a cheaper flight because the dates I wanted were not available anymore. I agreed, took the loss. I'll cry about it another day. Reviews on refunds were not any better, so I had my doubts. But a week later the money was back in my account just like Ana said it would be. RELIEVED!. If it weren't for all the disconnections I would've gave a better review. There is a definite need for improvement at flighthub customer service. That said, Thank you Ana. You saved my butt.

FlightHub is Dishonest.

We purchased two flights to Costa Rica *last night* for a total of $700 each, and received a confirmation email with the actual line:
"Total: $1,401.06 CAD
Paid in Full"

We then received an email at 9:35am the following day stating:

"There was a problem processing your booking (002-070-115). Your reservation is currently on hold and we will attempt to contact you shortly. Please call our support department at 1-800-900-1431 at your earliest convenience to resolve the issue. "

We didn't check our personal email until arriving home at 5pm having not been contacted by their customer service despite their stated intention to do so. At this point we discovered the price had gone up to $863 each which was almost 25% more expensive. When we questioned customer service about our "Paid In Full" assurance versus the unexpected price increase, we were told it is in their Terms of Agreement that they basically cannot guarantee the price you book ("Reserve" was the word he used; I'm pretty sure FlightHub doesn't understand what that word means in the English language) and they hadn't charged my credit card, despite the email that suggested I had in fact paid the promised fare.

We are not out any money at this point, but we could've booked through another portal with a more accurate reflection of the airline's "Inventory" than FlightHub and a quicker response if the fare was not confirmed. We find their business practice ultimately dishonest - especially given the wording of the primary confirmation email - and strongly advise against using their service at all.

PLEASE BEWARE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

I bought a ticket from this company to New jersey from Canada. On-line it showed the return to be at 7pm on Thursday. After booking the ticket, I found that they had given me a return of 6am on Thursday. I immediately called and asked them to cancel. I was informed that it had been cancelled at no penalty to me. I asked if I could re-book via the phone and was told in the most unpleasant way to go on-line. In my frustration I booked with Expedia.com. This transaction happened since February 21st. I have been tossed about from customer agent to customer agent in trying to get my money back. I was sent a confirmation notice but no cancellation notice. Today is the 24th of March I have been promised that I will get my refund in fifteen day. i will keep you posted.

Unethical Joke of a ticket agency whom the Attorney General should ban from doing business ever again!

Searched for a particular flight on www.cheapflightsfinder.com as usual. Found a decent price, {so it appeared anyway}, on www.flighthub.com. Upon selecting the particular flight and paying with a credit card I was issued a receipt to print and a conformation was sent to my Email account. Seemed routine and the transaction was fine. ...{"WRONG!!"}...
The next morning I received an email stating "YOUR RESERVATION REQUIRES IMMEDIATE ATTENTION! Unfortunately, the fare you have recently booked has changed and you are required to give us a call. You can reach one of our travel specialist by calling us toll-free at 1-800-711-1755. In the event we do not hear from you within the next few hours, your reservation will be cancelled. We are sorry for the inconveniences it may have caused."
Really?!! Since when does a company who receives payment for a ticket turn around within 12 hours and say "the ticket price went up over night?" The ticket I purchased was for the amount of $419 R/T. However the next morning this company says that the price went up to $573 R/T. If I don't pay the new price my ticket purchase will be cancelled. Ummm.... This purchase already happened. How does this arrogant ticket agency come off with cancelling my purchase if I don't pay their new ransom? I'm extremely appalled! When questioning the so called "specialist"on this unheard of action, the "specialist" had no answers to their policies.
Now for something really twisted. After cancelling with this Joke of a ticket agency I went back to www.cheapflightsfinder.com, entered the desired flight information and once again www.flighthub.com comes up with the same flight at the same price I had payed, $419 R/T. "SCAM OPERATION"! So I widened my ticket agency search and just about all others had the same flight for $410 R/T. Orbits.com got the sale and I bought tickets from an honest trustworthy business in which I had used in the past.
There is "1" positive review on this site. No doubt in my mind that this reviewer is linked to Flighthub directly. Don't trust that review and to keep your sanity "DO NOT MAKE A TRANSACTION WITH THESE CLOWNS"! email your friends and family and warn them to keep away from these crooks while searching for airline tickets. They are no good.
And lastly... I will be contacting the Attorney General's office, seeking action to protect airline consumers from this pathetic business.

So far so good. I have no complaints about customer service. This site sure has a lot of flame reviews, even of companies I have had only good experiences with (like Expedia). I tried FlightHub before I read the reviews and then was scared to find all these negatives.
I did have an issue with a change in my ticket (that was the airline’s doing, not FlightHub’s). FlightHub notified me and gave me other options, or a refund since the change was initiated by the airline.
When booking, be very careful to not select the $20 option for same day cancellation. Don’t book if you think you might cancel. Most airlines do allow you to cancel before midnight of the day you book, for no charge. If you want this option, you can get it for free on Expedia or with most airlines. If you don’t need it, then you can go for the cheaper price at FlightHub.
When booking, take a screen shot of what you are booking in case there are discrepancies later.
I contacted customer service at customercare@flighthub.com and received a reply within the day. I noted a small difference in what I was quoted and what I was charged and they offered a refund right away. They also offered a refund on the service I did not want and felt I had not requested.
In general, airlines are quite strict and FlightHub doesn’t control change fees etc., so don’t blame it on them. They try to find the low fares, which do disappear quickly between booking with a third party site and ticketing time, and certainly if you want to make a change later.
If price is very important to you, I think this company is safe to use. No matter who you go with, making changes can cost a lot.

COMMENT ON THE COMPANY'S POOR SERVICE & FALSE INFORMATION MISLEADING ADDS ETC. DON'T BELEIVE ME, SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!!

We just had the worse experience we've ever had with our flights booked through FLIGHTHUB - Airline cancelled our departure flight which in turn cancelled our return flight - WITH NO WARNING OF ANY KIND FROM FLIGHTHUB!

Have a quick look at the ratings for yourselves published here - in the last 10 weeks or so, FLIGHTHUB has received approx. 40 reviews of which 32 ARE 1 STAR POOR / NEGATIVE RATINGS WITH COMMENTS SUCH AS SCAMS, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, ETC.

Beware! There are HIDDEN conversion fees that you bank will charge you if you pay in USD$ or any another currency than CAD$.

Beware!

* This is a Canadian company. If you pay in another currency than CAD$, you will be charged more than 3% for currency conversion by your bank! For example if you pay a ticket 800 in USD$, you will pay about $25 of extra fees.
* This company has no email address and refuses to communicate by email.
* When you call them, it can take up to 1 hours and more to speak to someone.

It is in their FAQ... But innocent clients are not warned about it. Maybe this is legal, but I am not sure. I frankly think it is borderline illegal. Because it is VERY misleading "on purpose". They could warn the customers but they CHOOSE not to.

They have 3 domains... The .CA domain, as well as a .COM and a .CO.UK... this is the main issue, because only the .CA website is honest or "real"... the others are fake and misleading... For example EXPEDIA does the same, they also have different country specific domains, but they do not cheat. They charge you in the currency of the website you are on. On FLIGHTHUB, when you switch to another domain or currency such as USD or GBP you are led to believe that you can pay in those currencies. But you can't. They will charge you in CAD and your bank will charge the extra fees!... They should just tell you clearly how they operate BEFORE you pay. I though I was paying in USD but then I noticed the extra charges once I had already paid!... They should just say clearly on their website - clearly and big on their home page - that "they charge all invoices in CAD$", it is not very complicated.

Poor customer service

Purchased a return trip from YUL(Montreal) - ORY (Paris) for our 10th Wedding Anniversary.

All seemed fine and we picked them because of Tripadvisor.

1)Was charged almost $300 for insurance that I did not want
2) After checking myself I noticed that our bookign had changed, we were placed on a return flight 1 day early! No one informed us of this. The affects the car rental and appartment rental
3) Insurance was refunded only after I managed to get someone on the phone, however, they keept saying that they would call me back to confim the refund, since part of that trip was cancelled by the airline (CorseAir) Enever got a call back until I emailed customer support and filled out a negative review. Still after that there was no refund. I emailled again and got a call asking again, if I wanted a refund. How mnay time do I have to repeat: give me my money back!

Ended up booking on Air France for the same price directly. Still waiting for my refund. Not sure what do to here, since now they are no longer replying.

Horrible Policies and bad Customer Service

I booked my ticket with flight hub on recommendation from my co-workers who have used this service before (I usually book with Expedia, however, I could not get priced for my destination for some reason), so this was the first time I have booked with flight hub. Two days later (the day after I was no longer able to use my purchase guarantee that I paid extra for), there was a price reduction for the same destination (Liberia, Costa Rica) to where I was traveling. I tried to call ASAP, however your office was closed so I had to wait until today to call in. I spoke to a representative named Nick who informed me that I was not able to receive the price reduction or make any changes; the price posted when I bought my ticket is the price that I will have to pay, regardless if the price drops. I think this is a very poor policy and experience, especially for a first time customer and because of this policy, I will not be using your service again. I will stick with Expedia as they do honour price reductions and I have never had issues with there service.

Stay Away from Flight Hub

I purchased aR/T ticket from Toronto to NY for my sister in law and though I got a confirmation e-mail, I later got a mail that the booking had been cancelled. I called CS and was told that the booking was cancelled due to a problem with my credit card. I asked what was the problem, but was surprisingly told they cannot tell me the reason/ problem with the card OR how to fix the problem. The only response was that I will need to rebook. I asked the CSR what should I do if I encounter the same problem again with the new booking; her response: ' we don't do booking over the phone, so you can call back', when she cannot even give me a reason for the cancellation. I rebooked again, with another Credit Card, and about two hours later, history repeated itself: it was cancelled. I went to CHEAPOAIR and booked the same flight with the same Credit Card that FlightHub claimed was having problem.
My honest advise: STAY AWAY FROM FLIGHT HUB.

Easy and at the lowest cost

First time that I used internet to book a flight. It was easy, and the prices were the best I could find. I even received a reminder before my departure. I was afraid that I would get bad surprises with my reservations but everything went smoothly. I will for sure use this service in the future (I kept it in my favourites) I would recommend them anytime.

the worst company. I wanted to cancel a trip. If you choose from the phone menu number 2, ta cancel a trip, the waiting time is very long. On the 3rd day of the attempts someone answered. The person said that I can not cancel tickets. I told him that my wife is pregnant and that I can not travel. They put me on hold. After an hour of waiting I take wife's phone, I call them again and choose to buy a ticket, in less than a minute someone replies. I said I'm waiting on another line to cancel the trip and that there is no one answer. He said that at least another hour I must wait. I've told him that I have a feeling that they ignore me and they don't want to refund me money, I asked him to give the address where to send a warning letter. Waited another 10 minutes to get the address. After few minutes the "right" person answers to cancel the trip. The charged me for this almost 50% of tickets cost. I will never buy from this site because refund policy is a mess and they can change ticket price without notice.

Absolutely worse companies I have ever used

I am a fairly frequent traveler and have never had an experience as terrible as when I used FlightHub. I purchased my tickets on Monday night and received an email saying that I must call within a few hours because of issues with my purchase or the ticket will be cancelled. Luckily, I did not have class that morning and called in. After waiting behind TWENTY-FIVE other callers for 40 minutes, I was informed that the price has changed. I agreed to the price change and was informed that I will receive my ticket in a few hours.

A few hours later, instead of my ticket, I received a email informing me that my reservation was cancelled. I called in, again waiting 30 minutes to reach someone and was informed that there was absolutely nothing they can do for me. They could not even place a new reservation for me on the phone. Yes, that is right, this company's only job is to place flight reservation could not do it over the phone. The person on the phone could not even connect me with a manager. She then informed me that she was going to pass on my message to a manager the next morning and they will call me.... Again, surprise, surprise, did not happen.

Thanks, FlightHub, for wasting hours of my life.
