I stayed at this hotel in St.Sever Rouen for 4 nights last week. It was a bitterly disappointing stay. I would not call it a hotel - more like a hostel. The toilet was disgusting. The electrics sockets were plastic and hanging off the walls even in public places. Only one socket out of 3 was usable - the one in the bathroom was 3' above the floor so unless lead was more than 3' long could not use. Room service for 4 nights consisted of on one occasion the bins were emptied the bed made and a cursory attempt at cleaning the sink. In addition the lift - very small and inadequate - was out of order for 36 hours during visit and some members of our party were elderly and had to go up 5 flights of stairs. One of our group found faeces on the toilet set. There were numerous complaints about this hotel. Recommend? NEVER. Probably the worst place I've ever stayed in over 60 of travelling. Only positive there was plenty of hot water and the shower worked well - everything else negative. Ambience drab and depressing. The Lino on the floor resembled Munch's scream - very apt!

We stayed at B&B Hotel Graz Süd and were very disappointed. When we entered our room, there was hair all over the carpet, which made it obvious that the room had not been cleaned properly. Even worse, the shower only had ice-cold water, so we couldn’t take a proper shower and had to rush because the water was freezing.
Cleanliness and hot water are basic expectations for any hotel. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet even these basic standards. We hope the hotel improves its housekeeping and maintenance, as this was not the quality we expected.

stayed at B&B- Car got over sprayed with Paint
We stayed at B&B on Monday night June 29, 2026. After parking and bringing in all our things we were asked to move our vehicles to a grass area behind the hotel, for no reason given. In the morning when we came out, they were painting the building and there was white over spray all over my dark blue car. We booked with Booking, neither B & B nor Booking provided any compensation for this which will cost me 2-3 hundred dollars to have removed. This whole building is under renovation and we should have been advised. I should be refunded for the room at the very least.
Filing a complaint with the better business. bureau.
Do not stay at the Manchester hotel
Do not stay at the Manchester hotel. We couldn’t stay our second night and still waiting for our refund for over 2 months. Right on a main road and windows so thin you can hear every car. Floorboards feel unstable and like the whole place will collapse, including the room above you. Hotel needs gutting and starting again.
Unable to get into my room because of a borked system implementation. Terrible
Went to check in, big queue... Thought something must be up. Waited patiently. New system. Finally got my door pin and room number. Pin wouldn't work. Went back to reception and rejoined the queue. Several others unable to get into their rooms with Pins provided. Staff were very patient and helpful by physically escorting to room and opening up but I still can't get into my room without reception using a master key. This is totally unacceptable. The new system has been in for nearly a week now and they are having constant issues. Sounds like the training/feedback was non existent and it was a forced go live without validation. Fair play to the staff for remaining professional but disgraceful from HQ to roll this out as it has been. This is at the Ipswich branch.
Sweatbox Heathrow hotel. Avoid in the summer
Staying at Heathrow hotel
Appreciate we've had a heatwave but its 9.30pm, 24⁰ outside and 28.5⁰ in our hotel room thanks to non opening windows and a lack of the advertised aircon. The fan we were promised over an hour ago by reception has still not appeared
£99 spent so we'd feel chilled and refreshed prior to meeting a friend coming in on a 6.30am flight tomorrow prior to a day out in London. What a waste of money
Average hotel
Average hotel. The room was clean and the location was convenient, but the service and amenities could be better. Overall, it was okay for a short stay.
Shouldn’t have been there
So,
Arriving at a hotel for a 1 night stay I didn’t anticipate much, but here is the series of events in the Manchester Sportscity hotel that made it - to say it the least - abnoxious.
- arrive at hotel, being requested to share our proof of payment because their system can’t - only took 30 minutes.
- arrive in the ice cold box, I mean room since its june and there’s no hearing at all
- lights going in and out continuously while showering, working etc - super not uncomfortable
- ironing room that was probably the same age as my parents including the appliances - didn’t feel like taking the risk
- and lastly a bathroom that smelled like… idk
- breakfast was a 2 bite wonder - compared to the qualirt we have otherwise experienced
Wouldn’t set my foot there again.
The worst thing that happened to me in…
The worst thing that happened to me in Italy was this “hotel.”
It was my first time ever coming to Italy. It had always been my dream. My first day in Naples was supposed to be the beginning of a beautiful trip, but instead it turned into one of the most stressful and humiliating experiences of my life.
When I made the reservation, the check-in time was clearly stated as 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. That is exactly why I confidently booked the room and bought my flight tickets. But a few days before my arrival, the hotel suddenly messaged me saying their check-in was only from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. TWO HOURS. For tourists arriving from other countries.
I immediately explained the situation: my flight was landing at 2:15 PM, and if this information had been provided from the beginning, I would have NEVER chosen this hotel. Instead of trying to help me, they simply replied: “check-in is impossible.”
After that, they moved the conversation to WhatsApp, where I calmly asked them either to find a solution or refund my money. They promised there would be no problem — if they couldn’t accommodate me in this hotel, they would place me in another hotel from the same chain. They even sent me the address. I finally relaxed and trusted them.
The next day I arrived in Naples. My flight was delayed. Exhausted, alone, carrying my luggage, in a completely unfamiliar country, I arrived at the address… and they simply DID NOT OPEN THE DOOR.
I was standing alone on the staircase with my suitcases, not knowing what to do next. I texted the same WhatsApp number — and the cold reply I received was: “we already told you check-in ends at 2:00 PM.”
When I reminded them that they had personally confirmed my accommodation the day before, things became even more absurd: they suddenly claimed my reservation was “fake,” spoke to me rudely, and completely refused to help.
This is not hospitality. This is not customer service. This is deception and complete indifference toward people.
In a foreign country, they can literally leave you outside with your luggage and act as if it’s completely normal.
And by the way — they never refunded my money.
If you don’t want your trip to begin with panic, humiliation, and a feeling of total helplessness — stay far away from this place.
Stayed at Ipswich what a disaster
Stayed at Ipswich what a disaster, Travelodge in future. On first floor, partner is waiting an op on knee, lift was out of order every day. It was working on arrival, but packed in shortly after. Ruined the break away. Made her knee pain even worse. No apologies no refund nothing. Thinking of booking 🤔 I wouldn't
B&B Hotels, Birmingham, worth a visit.
We have just stayed in the Birmingham B&B Hotel which is central to most amenities, including a 10 minute stroll to the train station and city restaurants. The internet booking process was easy, the communications prior to arrival were great, payment was made upon arrival.
Absolutely worth a stay, amazing staff, thank you to Michael on reception, Jess in the restaurant, so polite and helpful. The hotel is very clean throughout and a recent refurbishment is obvious, the rooms and beds are so comfortable, tea/coffee facilities within, there is a fabulous choice of food for breakfast, again in comfortable hygienic surroundings. We would most certainly stay here again, the location is perfect with just a short walk to everything, great hotel, reasonable price for an overnight stay.
I dislike leaving reviews but in this…
I dislike leaving reviews but in this case after consideration it is important for other guests to know that the management operates in shady ways to the detriment of the customers. Not only were they (not referring to all the staff) complicit letting shady individuals leave markings and blue lines and worse after illegally entering guests' rooms and having those shady individuals occupying several rooms just to harass paying guests but moreover did they have a very old senior guest "arrested"/taken by 'police' for allegedly taking some item of the cleaning staff wagon (e.g.tissues). The staff claimed towards the guests that all those decisions (to be complicit in these strange activities) came from upper management-whoever that implies. You would think a decent management does the opposite and would make sure that their guests, who pay a lot of money, feel comfortable in their hotel - and not allow random shady people to inhabit rooms with the purpose to harass the hotel guests in the hotel, including old seniors citizens. You would also think someone who achieved a position in higher management is smart enough to know none of this is legal and the purpose of shady individuals harassing guests has equally shady motives (while a maintenance guy may be easily manipulated it is very unlikely that a business man in higher management can be as easily manipulated and thus complicity seems highly likely). In other words: Guests, who pay a lot of money, who stay in this hotel, are being punished and being harassed (and in some cases worse or as the bigger girl ,barely out of high school, who just started working there, stated in regards to the poor 80year old man "that's what we do here, we call the cops on people" - with people she was referring to an older senior citizen guest who could barely walk. Maybe they should just rent out their entire hotel to cops in that case so that they don't just have to occupy one floor but can have all floors to themselves and leave all their markings everyone. Definitely an experience no guest, especially after paying a lot of money for their rooms, should ever be subjected to. It tells you everything you need to know about shady, untrustworthy business practices. Even some of their own staff found it very strange
Has anyone besides me not received a…
Has anyone besides me not received a refund after cancelling a reservation. For months they have said they were about to send it but still haven't. I finally had to hire a solicitor in Inverness (I am in the U.S.) The general manager of the inverness hotel and the GM for the group's UK properties have both been notified of upcoming court action if necessary to collect the refund but neither have even acknowledged the notice.
If someone else has had a similar problem, i would like to know.
Very nice stay
Our stay B&B hotel Mons Centre was perfect. Nice people, clean room, good breakfast and no noise. And the booking was easy.
CONS outweigh the PROS
We arrived and were greeted by friendly staff.
Unfortunately we were stung for a £5 parking fee.(This isn't an issue but just put it in the price, it's just a bitter start to the stay and not something you really want to be bothered with upon arrival especially when competitors don't charge for parking.
The air freshener was so overpowering in the reception and landing areas that we were literally choking on it. Apart from it being toxic, we were tasing it for about an hour every time we entered these areas.
Room was clean and fresh, hotel was generally noisy all night and we struggled to sleep at times.
The bathroom and bedroom lighting is a joke. You must have the main bedroom light on to use the bathroom light! This is just a terrible design. If you need the toilet in the night then you find yourself using your phone torch light or your alternatives are waking up your room mate or pissing on the seat. Again not something you want to be working out at 2am.
Breakfast was a tasty full cooked style English with poor alternative choices. Items running low and they were slow to be replenished..Guests waiting for 10 minutes for eggs to be served. Plates had also not been replenished and again guests waiting for them.
Coffee machine was Out of order and the alternative one didn't have mugs and wasn't well sign posted so people were confused and left guessing.
Probably wouldn't stay again in all honesty. Never tried this supplier before so wanted to give it a go.
Very poor customer service
I reported an issue to their customer service team and after 2 months it is still not resolved and I have waited 6 weeks for an answer to my last response. Very poor service.

Awful place we couldn’t check in until 3.00 pm and arrived about 10.30 in the morning. Their cafe is only open for breakfast and around 5.00 pm for food, so couldn’t even have anything to eat. Very limited menu. We got sandwich out of a vending machine. We put our cases in storage, they are no shops in the area so spend all day hanging around the gardens. 2.30 we sat inside waiting for access to our room! People started arrived and were given their rooms straight away. so went to reception desk right by where we were sitting and they said room was ready. If I had not asked they would have just left us there. This was supposed to be our weekend honeymoon which was ruined. We left a day early as it was awful and no offer of help from staff. It’s in the middle of nowhere with just hotels in the area. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone !!!
My friend and I stay in the hotel…
My friend and I stay in the hotel Milano Cenisio Garibaldi for a long weekend the end of March. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, hotel was clean with everything in working order. We had paid for breakfast, and with timings of our plans we only managed to go on the Monday, but the range of food was brilliant for the price, and the staff not only provided English breakfast tea but when I joked about the size of cups on offer they went and found a proper mug for me - that alone would be worth the 5 star review. Very happy and would stay again if in Milan. Very close to the Cenisio metro stop so makes traveling around the city extremely easy, and the hotel provides a map of tourist attractions with the metro stops on it.
No star
No star. This is the worst place I have ever been in. We arrive to the hotel. There was no one to great us. The rooms had bus. The shower didn’t drain. The towels were disgusting. The doors were left open. The staff was rude and left without making sure everyone was good. It’s is really bad. Do not stay here.
