**Extremely disappointing and misleading experience\. I strongly recommend that business owners think twice before signing up with this company\.**

Someone came to our business personally, made a number of promises, and gave us the impression that we would receive excellent support and service\. Unfortunately, once we signed up, the reality was completely different\. The promises were not fulfilled, communication became extremely difficult, and getting a response when we needed help was a major struggle\.

Be especially careful with the **“2 months free”** offer\. It sounds attractive, but in our experience, you can end up spending those two months trying to get answers and support\. Before you know it, the free period is over, and you are tied into a contract with significant ongoing charges\.

We were left feeling that the priority was getting us signed up rather than actually providing the service and support that was promised\.

For a business, this is incredibly frustrating\. We trusted the promises made to us, and unfortunately, that trust was not respected\.

**I have dealt with many companies over the years, and this is genuinely one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had\.**

My advice to other business owners: **do your homework, read every term carefully, ask exactly what you will be charged after the “free” period, and do not rely solely on the promises made during the sales visit\.**

I have used The Fork many times over the past few years.
It’s so easy to use,shows me restaurants I didn’t even know existed.
I have saved so much money with their ‘Yums’program
I look forward to many more great ‘ Food’ experiences.

First, the number of Indian restaurants are too less. Second there are hardly any restaurants that accept yums towards payment. I have been using fork for some time and have observed that the restaurants have reduced over a period of time and many restaurants have stopped accepting yums. Also, the discount codes have reduced drastically - at a point in time I was getting the discount codes every month or twice a month; lately I received after 3 months. Hence, the usage has reduced.

I booked Paradiso, near Madrid, through TheFork. A couple of hours later I got an email saying the restaurant was closed and my booking was cancelled.

So I booked again through TheFork - Il Tempo, in a village 35 minutes' drive from where I was staying in Madrid. I drove out with a friend, and that restaurant was closed too. TheFork gave me no warning whatsoever.

I was then invited to review Il Tempo. I wrote one. This evening I received an email saying it won't be published because I didn't eat at the restaurant - which is precisely the point I was making. A platform that only publishes reviews from people who managed to get a meal is not showing you an honest picture.

Between the two bookings I wasted an evening, a tank of petrol and my friend's time. Check directly with the restaurant before you rely on a TheFork booking. I won't be using the platform again.

You should tell us when one of our favorite places signs off from the Fork.

Such a great way to save money whilst eating out either with discounts or saving YUMs - we use the fork all the time

Amazing restaurant app with real ratings and reviews (you only can add one after you book a table). The discounts can help you save quite a bit if you eat out a lot. Good coverage in bigger cities across Germany, Spain, Italy, France. Seems unavailable in Eastern Europe.

My account was blocked with more than 450 euro in gift cards i paid. I am going to lawsuit this dishonest company. As soon as you have many yums points and gift card on it they block the account for multiple usage based on unclear reasons

Reliable and trustworthy reviews whilst on holiday abroad, finding places to eat out.
Every restaurant was fabulous, each one delivered excellent food and honoured the discount.
Will definitely use this app again.

Great app for booking restaurants which often offer up to 50% discounts. Never had problem with booking service, and conditions and offers on booking always honoured.

The discount seem only to apply to the poorer restaurants. The good restaurants do not need to discount. The suggested prices that The Fork give are way out and if you try and review a Restaurant, they will not process it if it is a bad review.

I recommend this App which gives opportunities to discover new and different restaurants offering very interesting discounts. The rewards and exchange of yums is appreciated but the validity of collected yums should not ne limited in time. The App could benefit from improvements e.g. when the restaurant cancel a booking, the reason of cancellation should be made available by the restaurant and the App should not authorise a cancellation by a restaurant a short time before the reservation's time. In some cases, a small number of restaurants apply a lesser discount than the one published and some conveniently forget to apply the dicount!
