It’s my first time experiencing

It’s my first time experiencing a vehicle not being available at the time designated. First time I experienced having to come back to the airport 4 hours later to pick up the vehicle. The agent that took care of me did not seem at all concerned, simple said “no vehicles in your chosen class are available but they’re checking in returns all the time, or we can upgrade you to a mini van”

I've rented cars from other places

I've rented cars from other places. They typically do a walk around the car with you before you drive off and when you return. Hertz did not do this. They didn't even acknowledge that I'd returned the vehicle in their system until the next day when I emailed even though I returned it during normal business hours before they closed.

Filthy

Staff was on a personal call while i waited. I dobt believe the car they rented me was supposed to go out yet. The gas tank was on empty. I removed several wrappers, pieces of candy and various trash. I personally had to wipe down the inside of doors snd consoles to include charging area snd cup holders due to the candy left and spilled drink residue
