I have had an account with JustCloud.com since 2021. I backed up thousands of files with this company.
I received numerous emails about the company closing and to download all my files before September 15, 2025.
I have made multiple attempts to log into my account but have been unable to do so. I tried the password reset process but never received the password reset. I checked the junk/spam folder and nothing was there.
I sent multiple emails to the support department and never received any response. I sent emails to the billing department, and again no response.
It is very disheartening that all my files dating back to 2021 that have been in this company's possession are NOW going to disappear forever on September 15, 2025. There is no phone number available to contact anyone for assistance.
Maybe it all for the best since I just found an article online explaining the reasons the why the company is closing its door. Numerous customer complaints associated with billing, support, etc. The company did not live up to the business model.
I am hoping (but realized that is is very doubtful) that I will receive any response from the company for assistance before September 15, 2025.

The same as other reviews here. AVOID THIS COMPANY. I do not know why they are allowed to exist. Hugely bump up the the subscription without warning and do not reply to mails. TOTAL SCAM KEEP CLEAR.
Very shoddy charging behaviour and no support
Used their cloud backup since 2013, and until 2021 the backup was fine and the 2-yearly charge was reasonable at £178. Last week the renewal (simply taken from my account, no warning) was £943! Checking back to 2023, they took £471 without me noticing! None of their support emails gets replies, the chat function on the website is offline, they don't provide a phone number and one I got from the internet doesn't work. I have got my bank to stop any payment requests, but may have lost a lot of money.
BEWARE! Thoroughly dishonest business
I have used JustCloud for years without any problems but today I received a suspected fraud email from my credit card provider asking whether or not I had authorised a transaction for £687.76 from JustCloud.
How dare they!!! My automatic renewal was scheduled for 06 April 2025 NOT 23 March 2025 and the amout should have been £343.88 NOT double that.
I have contacted JustCloud for an explanation and I've authorised HSBC to cancel the transaction as I did not authorise it.
Like so many other people, I will now be taking my cloud backups elsewhere as I cannot abide dishonest businesses.

Avoid them at all costs - would give a 0 rating if I could!
Stay Clear of JustCloud
I used JustCloud for more than a decade, mostly as a backup of a backup. Then I saw an unexpectedly high charge from JustCloud on my credit card statement. I could not immediately verify it and suspected fraud, so I cancelled the credit card. After reaching JustCloud support I requested that my subscription be cancelled along with a full refund. As they suggested, I downloaded my data, informed them and repeated my request for a refund. I have repeatedly contacted them via email but have received no response. And no phone number is listed on their website. Stay away from this company!
Tripled the cost with a delete warning
It was working well for several years.
I jave payed 89USD every Year via Paypal. All of the sudden they charge
$226.56, nearly triple the amount from before and warn to delete my files if i do not pay this emediately! This are Criminals!

AVOID Justcloud! They decided this year to double the amount they took from my account without warning or authorisation. The annual renewal email did not advise of any price rise and there is no response from their billing or customer service department. The chat feature no longer works. The listed telephone number is not valid and this company doesn't actually exist at the location they list on their invoices.
I've had to contact my bank and raise a Credit Card dispute plus put a vendor block on Justcloud.com.
The actual cloud backups appears to be working just fine, backed up files are still available even the ones backed up many years ago, but their financial behaviour is fraudulent and there is no response from this 'company'. Avoid this company.

They cancelled my account when I only asked for a refund of $29 for an extra license. I was very clear in what I was requesting. I have not hear anything in a week. I have sent various emails. Really not a great storage because you have to download every file . Not for businesses . AVOID THIS COMPANY. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
Impossible to cancel account
Received an attempt to debit my credit card for £471.74 and cancelled 'auto renewal' and received an automated response that I would recieve no for requests for charges. Despite changing card number two further requests were received one of which eventually went through. Noe trying to claim a refund/cancellation, but no response to e-mails and online chat function doesn't work. Hopeless company bordering on criminal. Avoid like the plague.
Dodgy Scammers - stay away
Scammers! Used once well over 5 years ago, ask them every year to cancel it and every year they attempt to bill me again. Stay away!!
Absolutely no customer service
Absolutely no customer service. Billed twice. Reading the rest of the reviews, it seems to be run by either criminals or inept individuals.
Won't honor renewal offer and price doubled!
They sent me a renewal letter in March 2023 for $119.
Then in April, they charged my credit card DOUBLE ($238!!!). They would not reverse it or honor the previous offer of $119. BAD customer service. I canceled this service. Won't use again.
Billed $190 two years later, email bounced back
Something is seriously wrong at JustCloud. They billed me over $190 more than two years after closing the account and supposedly deleting all billing information. My account was then and is now verified as deleted by their own web site (i.e, tried to reset password for the email address where the charge receipt was sent, got am error that the account doesn't exist). In other words, they are still charging a credit card using billing information that they said they had deleted. Where are they storing that credit card information?
Tried using their designated email address to resolve the issue, but the email bounced back with a "Recipient address rejected: Access denied" error. No phone or chat help available.
Our bank quickly agreed to block all charges from JustCloud on our card, and we are cooperating with a bank investigation to hopefully blacklist them to protect all our bank's other customers as well.
If you get unauthorized charges like this, contact your bank directly, give them the details, ask them to reverse the unauthorized charge and block all *future* charges on your card from JustCloud, and then insist that the bank escalate it and investigate JustCloud to see if blacklisting is warranted to protect other bank customers. It wasn't hard, and it appears this may be the only way to protect everyone.
After all, you need to work *hard* to get a 1.2 Trustpilot rating with this many reviews...
Data was lost
Data was lost. When notified they said they restored the data. They didn't.
I unticked the auto-renew checkbox and received an email from the company stating they tried renewing my account a few weeks later.
It seems you have to go through a customer service agent before you can cancel your account and that requires a lot of pushing back and demanding they cancel your account. Its not pleasant and not worth the effort.

Absolutely Awful Stay Away
Do not trust this company with anything. They had lost some of my files, I complained and after many weeks of trying to get a response, they came back to me and said that they had managed to restore the files. Unfortunately, these were just empty words as the files were not restored. So many more emails from me to their Support team (Although I use the word 'Support' very loosely) stating that when my contract comes to an end they will not get any renewal until they recover the files that they lost and that they have a responsibility for. Never any response from them. after a couple of months I try to log in to my account to get back all of teh files that hadnt been lost, only to find that they had deactivated my account and I no longer have access to any of the files. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUNCH OF COWBOYS
JustCloud at best, lack transparency
My account was deactivated, and I take some responsibility for that, though communications about this very important matter were weak.. When I realised this, the JustCloud team repeatedly encouraged me to reactivate the account and whilst they said they couldn't guarantee I could recover my files, suggested I give it a go. They try to charge not just the cash going forward, but also the money since your account was deactivated. I would be happy with this if they had my files.
After pressing them repeatedly, they admitted that my files had been deleted and I would never get them back. Essentially, they were trying to con me.
