Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 55 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported significant delays in receiving payments, often waiting weeks or even months beyond the promised timeframe. People also frequently experienced poor customer service, characterized by unhelpful responses, generic excuses, and difficulty reaching agents. Reviewers often found that initial high price offers for their devices were drastically reduced after the company received the items, citing alleged damage or condition issues. Some people also felt that the company's business model involved attracting customers with unrealistic high offers and then reducing them, leading to frustration and a sense of unfair treatment. A few other people also felt that when devices were returned, they sometimes arrived with new damage or missing components, despite being sent in pristine condition.

This is a scam

This is a scam, once you send your phones you just get emails saying 'longer processing times for payment'. But they don't pay. They have two of my phones, still not paid for, still making excuses. I've just found out you can report them to the police for theft so I will be doing this if I don't receive payment by the end of the week. More people need to do this so these companies realise they can't keep hiding behind a website.

*As an update I sent two phones to this company in April and I have just now (1st July) received payment for ONE. And only after I said I would report them to companies house for fraudulent behaviour.
They have several websites all doing the same thing, BUYUR, UR and SupplyUR. All of these have the same awful customer reviews with people not being paid. However the owner Barry Poke has also just setup a new one URBusiness. So they know they are onto a good thing.

Never Ever Again

After so many text messages telling me to read yet another email reporting that they are progressing payment of the agreed price I decided that enough was enough so I called them only to be fobbed off.

I then sent an email giving them 7 days to return the phone or pay up.

Yes they responded and I got my money today so if you like aggravation and frustration then this is a suitable company for you to get some a plenty.

Beware of this company

Beware of this company, you may get linked to them via backmarket or amazon. They operate a very dubious business model, offering you big sums for your devices but then you send it in and they do not pay anything like what they offered. Current cash flow problems mean you probably won't get paid at all!! Look up the owner's track record of company's in the Crewe and Nantwich areas and you'll realise this is not someone you would trust!

DO NOT SELL YOUR PHONE TO THESE!

DO NOT SELL YOUR PHONE TO THESE!! Sent it off to initially get offered £72, and upon the ‘inspection’ it was noted that my phone had deep scratches all over the screen and back! Absolutely did not have any deep scratches, it had one light scratch could barely see it on the front, other than that it was absolutely immaculate! I rejected an offer of £25, for them to then offer £35, which I also rejected, and then they offered me £45, in which I also rejected and emailed them asking why if the phone was only worth £25 that they kept offering me more every time! Absolute rip off and a scam!! Would not recommend sending to these! Phone has now been returned but I am worried they’ve took parts out of it

Sold my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 512GB…

Sold my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 512GB (Order 900398140). Device was delivered 27 May 2026 and on 29 May they confirmed in writing that payment of £550.00 would be made within 7 working days. That deadline passed on 9 June 2026 with no payment. Every response has been the same generic "internal backlog" template with no payment date given. A formal final notice was ignored. I have now issued a Letter Before Action and filed with Resolver UK and Trading Standards. Avoid this company.

Been waiting 6 weeks now and still not been paid out. They are thieves that are basically stealing phones and being all nicey nice on emails but have no intention of paying. They offer the best price on comparison sites but that’s a lie also. Trading standards and the police.

I would strongly caution others against…

I would strongly caution others against using this service based on my experience due to significant delays in payment and poor communication throughout the process.

I accepted an offer on 8 April and was told payment would be made within 7–14 working days after acceptance.

Once that timeframe passed, no payment had been received, so I contacted them for an update. I was told there were delays with their payments team and that my payment was “being processed”, but I was not given a confirmed payment date.

Over the following weeks I had to chase multiple times. Each time I was given similar responses about delays and assurances that it would be paid soon, but still no clear date or meaningful progress. At one point I was told it would likely be within 5 working days, but this also passed without payment being made.

After waiting significantly longer than the original timeframe (around 28 working days in total) and still not receiving payment, I had to escalate the matter formally by issuing a Letter Before Action in order to progress towards legal action.

Only after this escalation did communication continue, and I eventually received payment on 18 May.

While the payment was eventually made, the overall experience involved substantial delays beyond the promised timeframe, repeated chasing, and a lack of clear communication or firm payment dates throughout the process.

Scammers

Scammers, avoid at all costs. Sent a phone off to sell that was prestine condition (as new) then received a valuation £300 less than the initial price offered. Refused the offer, received the phone back and it was full of scratched front and back. BARRY POKE you should be ashamed and you need to start being a little more honest. I suppose thats why you are a director of multiple dissolved companies.

Do not send devices, company going bankrupt!

I believe this company may be in danger of going bust so would absolutely refrain from buying or selling with them, read all the other reviews on other sites: you will send your device off and whether you get your money or not is very much in doubt!! I sent in a device weeks ago, never got paid!

AVOID

AVOID
Said my phone wasnt the correct condition and offered me 1/3 of agreed, declined twice and took the last offer. Got an email to say be paid within 7 days and chased up several times by phone and email. FINALLY got payment on week 6 after I threatened them with court. (Citizens advice website template) go elsewhere. Please avoid!!

Pathetic customer service

Company offered a price for my mobile and offered a pathetic offer, I declined then they offered me a higher price. I accepted on the grounds I would receive payment within 7 working days. 3 weeks later and still no payment. Stay clear from this company as there is zero customer service and am left to fight to get my money or phone back !!!!

I wouldn't even give this company 1…

I wouldn't even give this company 1 star ( unfortunately no option for zero star)

DO NOT USE THEM

On line offer for my 128GB IPHONE 14 - £211 pristeen condition not a mark on it / camera protector sent with phone , always kept in an otter box case. I refused initial offer of £125, ( which was apparently because there were visible scratches - I took photos of all sides of my phone in case they pulled this trick), which was increased to £140 which I also refused , they then increased to £175 which I also refused on principal because the phone was as described when they initially offered £211. Phone was returned to me minus camera lens cover and with visible scratches added.

Totally untrustworthy company

DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CURCUMSTANCES

Try to rip you off

Absolutely awful sent my phone it still looks brand new not a mark on it offered me a ridiculously low offer which I declined 3 times saying there where scratches on phone I had already taken photos before I sent it, knowing it was in excellent condition they wouldn’t pay what was offered originally and returned my phone. I would rate them with one star but no star is not an option unfortunately.
