Scammers! don't let this company scam you

Neve ever sign the paper they give you after the delievery. Check if there are any damages on your goods/objects very carefully.

Because once you signed with your signature and you discover some heavy damages after that, this company will act shamelessly and refuse take any responsibility. This happend to me with JH Packman.
Scammers!!! Objects worth 200 EUR is just gone.

Hello Min C.

Thank you for your review.

I have asked for further information through Trustpilot, as I need something more to go on than your name, in order to address this complaint.

However no further information was provided in the timeframe given by Trustpilot, so I am unable to do this now.

However, I will gladly address the thing you point out in regards to signing the freight documents:

We do ask for a signature as we make our delivery, and yes, once we have this signature we do not take responsibility for any damage to the items.

But I don't see how this makes us "scammers"? We clearly state on the document that you sign upon receiving the items in good condition.
If there are any damage to the items, you will need to make a note of this on the document.

This is standard procedure, and I don't think you will find any other transport company that does this differently?

I am not saying that any damage to your items was done intentionally by you, but then again - we can't be sure of it either. The only way to be sure, is to check the items upon delivery, and make notes of any damages before signing the document.

Again; standard procedure.

Feel free to get back to me with any further information, and I will be happy to have a closer look at this case.
Until then, I will consider this matter sorted.

Regards,
Mikkel Hansen, JH Packman

Svindler Cheaters!

Attention! Be cautious with this company!
They are swindlers! I bought furniture from Denmark and hired this company for the transport to Germany. One piece of furniture was completely damaged and shattered during transit. However, the company refuses to take responsibility and ignores my emails and requests for a partial refund. Even though I also paid for the insurance of my furniture which was more than 500 EURO in total.

These people are morally absolutely incorrect and untrustworthy! Better to hire another company that works with better conscience and professionalism.

If I could rate JH Transport a zero star, I would.

Despite, I have already made a complaint and received an email with less than 18 words context and casual apology without any explanation about my terrible customer service experience. I still think that I should let you all know what the problem was.

I bought a pair of floor lamps from Lauritz and used JH Transport for the delivery service to London as this independent courier company was recommended by Lauritz, which you can find the delivery cost directly from Lauritz's website.

I first approached JH Transport directly for a quote even though I knew the delivery cost on Lauritz’s website was 368.58 Euros as the price quoted by Lauritz did not mention details such as insurance, packaging etc. Later, I received an automated email with a quotation stating 6500 DKK (873.70 Euros) excluding packaging and insurance for the same items. Seriously?

I contacted JH Transport again to find out why the prices are such a huge difference. Later, I received an email from a person called Karsten Bonde Nielsenfrom from JH transport saying that the price from Lauritz was wrong. I was confused and did not know what to do. I waited for over 10 days and decided to order the transport via Laurtiz’s website delivery by JH Transport before I started getting charged for the storage fee. It ended up only costing me 368.58 Euros. Strange!!!

I had waited for approximately 3-4 weeks and finally I was told that the lamps will be delivered to my house the next day. Unfortunately, I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the delivery man. I had no idea how JH Transport managed to get my home address in a wrong order on the delivery note when I clearly gave the right address when I booked for the service. The delivery man called me a few times and asked me to look for him. I walked to meet with him where he thought the delivery address was. He then refused my offer to show him to the right address which was only 2 minutes away to drive. I could not physically carry the floor lamps at the same time as they are tall, heavy and fragile. He also bluntly and strongly answered that he will be taking the items back to Denmark if I do not carry them before he got into his truck and drove away. I was upset, panicked, devastated and shocked by his reaction as I kept telling him that I did not provide the wrong delivery address. I even showed him the transport booking confirmation email with the correct address.

I do not know what made him change his mind but the lamps are in my house now, which I am relieved and grateful for.

I told him that I will make a complaint about this to the head office. He replied aggressively “I am the owner of the company!” He then made a phone call and spoke in Danish and told me that I have been banned from using JH Transport! The concierge of my house can be my witness.

To JH Transport customer service, I do not deserve to be treated like that as a customer. Especially, blaming me for something that I did not do.

My customer number is 191990 and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

UPDATE 27-06-2016:

Hello again Mr. Yap

I have now investigated further and spoken to both the driver and Mr. Nielsen at our office.
Let me try to address the different problems:

1. The delivery address.
Our records show that you made an inquery by email on May 11, 2016. This email has the correct delivery address (no. 225). However the order that was sent through Lauritz.com has the address "Imperial Court, 225 Kennington Lane 161".
While I aknowledge that both emails have the correct number (225), the official order from Lauritz.com also has the number 161, which must have caused the confusion.

2. The price.
In your first email (mentioned before), you refer to a screenshot that shows the price as EUR 386,58. This was May 11, 2016 and was for lot number 4232271. The other price that was given (DKK 6500,-) was quoted on the same date, but was for lot number 4264511. Although from the same showroom, the two lots are completely different, with the latter being a rather large chandelier, that requires special packaging (hence the more expensive transport).
However I have not been able to find out where this lot number comes from, and as far as I can see you are not the winner of this auction, so clearly a mistake has been made on our part. But again, that is the explanation as to why there was such a huge difference in price.
As you mentioned yourself, the final transport was made according to the first price, which is what you have paid.

3. Waiting time.
While I understand you feel 3-4 weeks is a long time to wait, this was clearly stated in the quotation you received. Our pick up times are 1-10 business days in Germany (the item being located in Düsseldorf) after payment is received, and the delivery time is then 2-3 weeks after pick up.
Having received your payment on May 25, 2016, we picked up your item on May 31, 2016. After giving you an update on June 9, 2016, delivery was then made last week, a few days later then expected. This of course is not according to our terms as the latest delivery date should have been last tuesdag June 21, 2016. I apologize for this.

4. Our driver.
I have spoken to our driver and gotten his version od the story. While it doesn't align exactly with what you have described I have come to the conclusion that the before mentioned misunderstandings must have been a crusial part in what happened during the delivery of your items. It is impossible for me to say what exactly what happened and what went wrong. Nevertheless I would like to offer you my apologies for any and all misunderstandings, and I assure you that you are more than welcome to use our services again another time.

I hope this helps to clear the air, and welcome you to contact me directly should you have any further questions.

Thank you for your patience.

Best regards,
Mikkel Hansen

Professional and Pleasant to deal with

I have only good things to say about JH transport. We hired them to ship just over 1200 Kgs of furniture and other articles from Sweden to Canada. Some of the items were antiques and required special treatment. From the very beginning the communication was excellent and timely. The driver who picked up our goods spend was extremely careful and thoughtful, taking great care to wrap the more delicate items and even made custom cardboard covers for our dining room chairs. Upon arrival in Toronto, we were impressed with the solid construction of the wooden containers and not one item was damaged during transport, despite the less that professional service provided by the trucking company on the Canadian side! We will definately use their services again should we need to moving something from Sweden to Canada.
