The shop itself is good with stock etc. (Spondon Derby) . But the problem always seems to be when trying to pay and get out .
This time was my worst. I had a normal trolley, so had to go to the tills. They had just 3 tills open on a Saturday afternoon! After being in my queue for too long , they opened a 4th.
That didn't help me at all . (Janet) at the till i was in was so slow i was dozing off ! In all it took about 15mins to get through and paying.
I can understand giving people chances to work . BUT they should be placed in the right areas ! I could see the other till staff were slow also.
I think they should go and have a look at Aldi / Lidl to see the difference ..

I have now stopped using Asda to fuel any of my vehicles,,,
I have to collect a receipt when i refuel our work vehicles and time after time there receipt part never has paper in it,,, surely this must be checked daily? and without a receipt i don't get re imbursed.. (200 to 300 a week).
I know its only a small thing and I'm nothing in the grand scheme but they are then loosing my shopping bill on a daily basis... I go to Morrisons now.. more reliable..

Asda Fosse park leicester. Caroline on the customer service desk was a very helpful lady yes lady I was having a problem with my car it would not start battery flat I was panicking I had to pick grandkids up from school I went into Asda to explain my issue Caroline replied go to your car I’ll bd there asap after sorting out with her manager she needed to leave the store to help a customer. She came out with a battery start machine within minutes my car started This lady deserves a medal . Thank you agsin fof youf assistance.

The reward scheme started ok but you can’t earn anything from shopping i shop every week and I have Bremen on 59p for three months it’s not worth the effort of getting your phone out to scan the bar code

This review is about Asda in Chalfont, Lower Earley Reading.
Some product packaging clearly states that if customers aren't 100% satisfied then they should return it to store and get a REPLACEMENT and REFUND. The staff at customer service don't seem to be familiar or care about the Asda promise. They do give me a refund after some eyerolls but do not offer a replacement too. The staff seem to make up their own rules and do not follow Asda's promise.

Due to faulty self service tills and the time to get through it a lot of the frozen and chilled food had to be disposed of when we got home. Customer service were little help and could or would not offer us ant recompense. So I loose out financially due to the incompetence of Asda. Disgusting

Fresh produce at Asda?? Fresh isn’t word I would use, two weeks running I have picked up several packs of peaches only to find that there were mouldy ones in pack. Produce only has short use by date or out of date that day. Come on Asda get your act together and sort this and your prices out, week on week I am finding that prices are going up by 10/20p this is not inflation it is daylight robbery. Don’t get me started on your “rewards” scheme, what is point of a scheme like this when there is no reward!!!!!

Went into Asda Park Royal last night, the shelves were empty which is the case pretty often but last night was bad. They open 24 hours but do not see the point when the shelves are empty.

Customer Service is awful.
I spent over £100 in my local Asda yesterday, at the self-service I was ask about a Asda Rewards card - which I did not have.
When I got home I went onto their website to sign up for the reward card, only to find out it was an App only, no physical card.
I do not have a mobile phone and at my age don't want one.
I made a complaint that they are discriminating against people who do not have a device, was being dealt with by a person/AI called "Rohit" who questioned my email address !!! then NOTHING, total silence.

This is the way they treat their customers then I will shopping elsewhere, their loss not mine.

I went to Asda today to buy wine. Couldn't see it on the shelves. Went to Customer Services, enquired if the wine was on stock, the response? Can't help with those enquiries anymore, not enough staff.

Waiting for home delivery which is coming up to 40 minutes late.

No courtesy call from the driver which I think is terrible service.

Arrives 55 minutes late no explanation no apology!

Home delivery scheduled for 6pm to 7pm had to chase via call centre at 7:15pm only to be told shopping not being delivered until 8:30pm. Thanks didn’t want to go anywhere anyway tonight. Not even the courtesy of an update email or sms to advise about the delay.

Used to be able to accumulate decent amount of cash back with the rewards scheme but now you can spend hundreds and not get a penny. Don't see the point if it anymore. Just a gimmick.

Do not order an online shop as they send out of date food

They'll find items with the shortest use by and best before date possible and thats if your even lucky enough to get what you ordered in the first place

6 items on my last order had 1 day on them

If I could give zero I would, I live in the city centre of Leeds and we have used Asda for our groceries for about 2 years. Mostly it’s been great but the last couple of visits have been awful, they’ve lied about coming to my home, they’ve given terrible attitude and once even cancelled my order because they couldn’t find my building apparently. It’s shocking in this day and age with the internet google maps etc at our finger tips that people think it’s acceptable to say they can’t find a city centre building. I’ve always been very happy to assist on directing them but lately the attitudes we get from the staff and the office staff have been dreadful. I work in customer service and retail and if I spoke to my customers or gave that level
Of service to them I would likely lose my job. It begs the question of how they treat customers who cannot pop to a shop themselves and get their food. If this is how they treat all customers I do hope they don’t get any disabled customers who would go without if their shopping didn’t make it to them. Shameful service

Noticed that the cashpot in rewards is basically stopped now..one of the things they have done is to offer things at their express stores to boost the cashpot..i assume it's like Tesco express..a lot more expensive..

Asda goole is a right crap place put new coffee machine in but you ave to pay by card thay can naw shovt because that is very unlikely fer to the older generation s no mour shopping at asda goole needs shouting down and i will bee canaling my 3 mobile phones as well such a crap company ..I think they are very unfair. But they Well not replying to this they nevr dowe .asda will not dowe anything because they dowe not care about public just money they new lost my £4.00 evry morning and £30.00 3 phones evry mouth ..?????

Total lack of basic stock control.

Bought part baked loaf well within date which was full of mould.
Contacted "customer service " via their online portal who must have eaten their own mouldy products as they have not bothered to respond.
I can only assume they are short staffed due to sickness and staff on sick leave due to eating their own mouldy products.
Will contact local Environmental Health Dept today who will hopefully carry out some spot checks.

Just purchased a £10 ( Reduced from £15) 4 draw plastic set. An amazing waste of money. Its really flimsy and broke when I was putting items in it. Even Tumu items are better quality. Never again. A total false economy.
