I ordered some speakers on a Saturday and they were delivered by 11.00 on the Monday morning which was quicker than expected.
I bought the cheap AVcom floor standing speakers as I only needed something for my PC .
I am surprised at how good they are for the money. Obviously not real walnut but they look very nice next to my computer desk and sound 100% better than the soundbar I was using. I am using a Fosi audio FA3 with the FD3 Dac via USB from the PC and it's great.

Impressive for the money 💰 budget sub but great bass wasn't expecting to much from this but was pleasantly surprised. Recommend for anyone starting out on there audio journey or on a budget.

Great service

I chose this stand as it is one of very few that are suitable for AirPod Max headphones when fitted with their case and thereby automatically turned off. It looks great with it’s curved neck while not in use and is completely stable when the phones are fitted. A good choice!

It's very debatable, the audible benefits of cables aside from mechanical integrity and quality so spending money on more expensive cables is sometimes a wrench however this Chord cable is well made and A.V .com made it affordable with a price 40% cheaper than other suppliers so keep up the good work guys.

Good communication though out the process delivery was on time packed well.

I ordered a new amplifier on the Friday and with luck it was in store. And with the guarantee it would be arriving on the Saturday and it was. Spoke on the phone first and the AV team were helpful and friendly.. will order again

I ordered the black as it said it was the only one left but a silver one turned up, not fussed really as I’m pleased with the sound.
I ordered on a Friday and paid under £3 for Saturday delivery which isn’t much really. All in all very good service

I am giving this company 2 stars, because at least they respond to emails.

My order was sent with my correct address on it, but the postcode was wrong. I am not sure why. However they delivered my parcel to the postcode not the address, ignoring the fact that this was in a different town. They also delivered to a random house number.

When I raised the non-delivery, apparently they went back twice and couldn’t get it. So the closure (in their opinion) is that I should travel to the other town, knock on a random door and ask for my parcel.

Genius. Tells you a lot about this company and its customer care.

Very pleased with the whole process from AV.com with a great price, being kept well updated to a really quick delivery and most importantly undamaged 😁 over the years I have bought 3 pairs of speaker stands and binned the first 2 pairs, either too lightweight or too skinny and top heavy But l will be keeping this pair as l was shocked at the perfect weight of them straight from the box. I fitted the base of the stands then the spikes for carpet placement, l had already put some sharp and soft sand of equal measure into a small bucket and left in the lovely hot sun to dry out for about 4 days, l then inserted a black thick bin bag into the thicker stand tube and filled up to just above half way and then the same to second stand, the weight was perfect so l tied the tops of the bags and fitted the tops to each stand, then from my summerhouse to the TV placed in position and used a small spirit level to adjust spikes as floor uneven, l then used black Velcro strips to the top of stands and plenty of it, then placed the softer parts of it to the first piece, peeled off the backing tape and slowly placed on my Wharfdale bookshelf speakers and once happy with position pressed down 😀 the rear smaller tubes are brilliant for feeding the speaker cables through ( even thick quality cable ) l am so happy with the quality, strength and finish of these speaker stands I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is fussy like me and would encourage them to get them from AV.com as they have proven to be a great supplier at a very good price, hope this review helps you make up your mind if you’re unsure, happy listening John

Unexplained delivery address and disappointing response

I placed an order with AV.com on 14 August 2026, but the item was never delivered to me. Instead, it was sent to an entirely unrelated address in Chesterfield:

[My Name] Furniture Design
61 Storforth Lane Trading Estate
Hasland
Chesterfield
Derbyshire
S41 0QX

I have no knowledge of or connection with this address and have never knowingly provided it as a delivery address. I subsequently checked my PayPal account and confirmed that it has never been one of my saved addresses.

I contacted AV.com because I was concerned about how this address had come to be associated with my newly created account and the PayPal transaction. To be fair, their customer service representative did investigate the matter and provided a detailed written response. However, when I spoke to someone by telephone, I found the response rather frustrating. I repeatedly explained that I had not entered or selected this address, but was essentially told that it was the address associated with my account and therefore must have been provided during the ordering process.

That doesn’t actually explain how a completely unrelated address came to be associated with my account in the first place.

AV.com were unable to establish how the address entered the transaction, and PayPal subsequently refunded the £10.98 because I had not received the goods.

I am not suggesting that AV.com deliberately sent the order to this address, but I find the unexplained appearance of a completely unrelated delivery address concerning. My experience would therefore make me advise potential customers to check their delivery details very carefully when ordering from AV.com.
