Elektroshop makes it easy for customers

I had a fantastic experience ordering outlets and switches from Electroshop. The professional an highly knowledgable team helped me order the right products for my apartment that fitted perfectly.
More to the point, the after sale service continues to support with care and dedication.

I had a very positive experience, but it could be even better
I ordered two items: one was in stock, while the other was marked as an order item on the product page, with an indication that delivery would take an additional 2–5 working days. This information was available, although it was somewhat visually hidden behind an “i” icon next to a blue tick - not the most obvious UX.
I expected both items to be shipped together after about a week, but instead the in-stock item was shipped immediately. Shortly afterwards, I received a clear and proactive email explaining that the second item would arrive later, including an estimated delivery timeframe and confirmation that it would be shipped separately with its own track & trace number. This level of communication made the whole experience smooth and transparent.
Overall, this was a very pleasant experience - especially the proactive communication - and it stands out positively compared to how some other shops handle similar situations (I just recently had poor experience with another electrical web shop).
Things that could still be improved:
1. At checkout, it would be great to have an explicit choice between “ship everything together later” or “send in-stock items immediately and the rest later”. If I'm not in a rush, I usually prefer fewer packages. That was the case with my order here.
2. The delivery-time information for order items could be more visible on the product page, rather than hidden behind an icon.
3. The packaging felt a bit excessive: a small box of 50 WAGO connectors arrived in a much larger cardboard box than necessary.
That said, I’m very happy with the service and would happily order from elektroshop.nl again.
