lack of delivery and communication has been very disappointing.

UPDATE: The package is delivered by UPS!

After the communication and declaration of the problem we are able to change our opinion. But at the end we would ask for more transparent to know what happened with our order. Specially you pay the invoice in advance. Thanks.

We placed an order with LambdaTek on 13 June 2026 and paid for it immediately. As of 22 June 2026, nothing has been delivered.

According to the shipping status provided by LambdaTek, the goods are still located in the Netherlands. Since the order was placed from the Netherlands, it appears that the shipment has not moved at all. We have received no information regarding the expected delivery date, no updates, and no proactive communication from the company.

After 9 days, this delay is more than overdue and therefore we cannot recommend LambdaTek based on our experience so far.

We cannot comment on the quality of the products or the condition of the delivery, as we have not received the order yet. However, the lack of delivery and communication has been very disappointing.

Please save your peace of mind or take the risk

If you are an incurable optimist who hopes that everything will go smoothly with their order with Lambda-Tek or you have found a bargain that you think will worth your time loss, loss of profit and most importantly your mental health, you don’t need to read along. If however, you value all aspects involved in your shopping experience, especially if it is for your business and particularly when you need customer support when the sh** hits the fan, please proceed reading my honest review about a case, where it turned out that I have been the sole loser. Spoiler: just choose any other popular player in the market and avoid this wanna-be-trustworthy selling platform.

I used to belong to the former category of people, when I found a monitor of my liking by the beginning of March in their website at an exceptionally good price. I did a short check to verify the reliability of the platform, since the price seamed unrealistic, however, I was influenced by the positive reviews and I ignored the bad ones. Eventually, I went on with placing the order for shipment from UK to Greece. Everything was good in the beginning, with easy access to help desk. However, the monitor arrived broken and this is when the troubles begun. I realised the damage after opening the box, because from its looks, it was in a fair condition. Even if I had opened the box for content inspection and immediately send it back, it would not have mattered after all. In short, I called them to ask for a replacement, but they told me to wait so that they can resolve the problem from their part to the best. I had to find out the hard way that “the best” would favour themselves and I will explain.
When someone deals with respectful sellers/platforms the agreement usually favours the buyer. So when an item arrives damaged (because of the transporter, the original retailer/warehouse or whatever) they immediately refund the customer or send a replacement and later on they work out their claims with the insurance companies, the transporter, etc, to resolve the issue for themselves. In Lambda-tek’s policy they first take their time to work out what is economically beneficial for them (UK customers are probably benefited) and they completely ignore customer’s loss of profits and time or frustration. All I was suggested to do was to send them photos of the damaged monitor. Still, 2 weeks later they were telling me that they have to conclude if the monitor was broken in my hands, with the final verdict (by the 1st of April), telling me that they will refund me at the price paid, without ever asking for more evidence of some sort (I guess the original photos where enough since day one). In the meanwhile the monitor’s price was increasing, so after these 2 weeks period I suggested them several times to reorder the item, especially if they offer to pay the price difference. In a sneaky manner they avoided to give me a solid answer, in order to save time for themselves, until it was too late - the monitor’s price doubled-. They did not want me to repeat the order, since in the meantime they figured out that it is not to their benefit to sell me this product. Before I even received the outcome of the refund claim (which THEY decided to issue for me, instead of a replacement) I went on and reordered the monitor when the stock reached the 1 unit left higher than but close to the original low price. A bit later they informed me that they had to cancel my order, because of a false listing (they said).
My accusations are not mere personal assumptions. I had called the rude UK representative of theirs and he confirmed that they cannot offer the level of customer satisfaction compared to e.g. Amazon or eBay, since -in his wording- “they are a small company, who cannot provide similar to theirs services, because it will cost them money.” He kept repeating in a peevish voice that “we are not a charity”.
In other words, it is ok for them to accept that fact, the problem is that I did not know in advance that I have to deal with it. Therefore, I am writing all this as a fair warning to potential customers to avoid such an ill-mannered seller. Please save your peace of mind or take the risk. After all, by comparison on every other product I browsed, except of this monitor, the price of their cheapest offer was at least 10% higher than elsewhere. Btw, the shipping cost for the monitor was 99,00€, not negligible at all!

Not a big deal, but probably won't use for any significant purchases that I need to expense.

I waited a long time for the package…

I waited a long time for the package that was supposed to be a New Year’s and birthday gift.
Two days later, I ordered a computer power supply from your city on another website, and that package arrived before yours — even though I ordered it two days later, it arrived on time.
Because of this, I never want to order from you again. You ruined my plans and the trip I had planned because of this. I will never buy from you again, even if you are the cheapest of all.

I tried but...

Λάθος προϊόν.Σε πατάνε στο φιλότιμο για να διευθυετήσουν το λάθος που έχουν. Μονομερείς ενέργειες. Σε κρεμάνε χωρίς ενημέρωση. Αντι-επαγγελματίες..

Wrong product. They appeal to your sense of decency to fix their mistake. Unilateral actions. They leave you hanging without any notice. Completely unprofessional.

So you wanted to avoid making the same mistake again—meaning sending the same incorrect product once more? That implies you are unable to distinguish between products, serial numbers, and part numbers. Because when a customer explicitly points this out and you still proceed to send the same item, it shows that you do not understand how logistics actually work.
No problem. Withdraw from the market so customers don’t have to rely on you.

If we have reached the 21st century and the only goal is to win impressions, then something is clearly wrong… Don’t complain when society goes off the rails.

As already explained, our only option is to refund you for this incorrect item instead of your preferred option of sending a replacement, as we want to avoid the same wrong item being reshipped.
I am so sorry this has upset you, but this is what "decent, professional" companies like ours do in these situations.
