Morrisons started life as a bustling egg, milk and butter market stall in Yorkshire back in 1899 – firmly planting its roots as a fresh-focused grocer with an appetite for providing quality and value on the same plate. Now, with 491 stores as well as a fast-growing online shopping service at Morrisons.com the business continues to focus on delivering freshness and quality to millions of customers across the UK - wherever they want to shop for their groceries. Foodmakers and shopkeepers at heart, we have over 9,000 trained butchers, bakers, fishmongers, cheesemongers and other skilled in-store specialists making more food in store than any other retailer. Morrisons is also the only British supermarket to have its own sites making meat, fruit & veg, fish, bakery and fresh food products – and is unique in preparing and making more than half of the fresh food sold in our stores.

Was in morrisons at portobello Edinburgh the other day, asked security gaurd where the toilet was he said away at the other end of the store, not great for people with motability problems, i had to rest before i got there , then grabbed a basket went of to get a couple things then noticed the security gaurd following me, i clocked his eye contact went to self-service and started scanning then another member of staff watched me as i scanned making sure was putting it all through, i am not a thief.
I was with Morrisons for years. Very happy with home delivery, then last year they changed, orders were being picked from a warehouse, then I was told it would now come from Worksop store. Oh dear! at least 3/4 substitutions and missing items each week. I didn’t renew my delivery saver. Morrisons then kindly offered me free delivery. But what’s the point in placing an order when you don’t know what’s coming. I swapped to Tesco and their substitutions are very rare.
In the dunoon store there was a seagull which got in through a hole in poorly maintained netting broken wing. Was reported by a neighbour yesterday and myself today 29/8/2026. Animal wss trspped. Morrisin refused to take action and when we called the fire brigade to rescue bird staff at loading bay were making jokes about the poor animal as it was being rescued. Discusting act of animal cruelty. This poor animal was suffering for over 24 hours and your staff are making jokes about this. What is wrong with your company that you maintain employment of such disgusting human. I recommeand boycotting Morrisons dunoon. It may be a seagull but this thing was rsscued alive by fire brigade and morrison did nothing for over 24 hours. I have recorded evidence of bird and hoke showing neglagent maintanance, i am furious and absolutly disgusted at this. Nothing should be left for over 24 hours suffering like that while staff hide behind "we dont have authorisation" to excuse inaction.
I went to Morrisons to get two Calor gas 6 kg propane cylinders I had two empties. They changed me £45.99 for a fill. I checked their web site it stated £32 each refill. I went back to Morrisons Swinton and cashier said that's the price. I strongly suggest to shop around for gas cylinders. I spent a long time trying to ring Morrisons that was a waste of time.
‘Morrisons Now’ specifically
I’ve given 1 star because out of 5 previous orders I’ve made, only 2 have been completed.
More often than not the delivery gets cancelled at or after the estimated delivery time. It could be a problem with drivers, but additionally it’s impossible to speak to anybody and it’s really bad service for Morrisons to put their name to.
If the service can’t be provided, Morrisons should not waste customers time by offering this game of shopping roulette.

I just did and you failed to give good service. I have 44 items on my uber eats. You were quick to press shopping completed eventhough the actual shopping has not started. and by pressing that, the uber driver came there waited, till he cancelled cos you have not started the actual shopping. When you finally started it, another uber driver came, when you were almost done and there were 7 items left to complete the order. You decided to cancel. After waiting for more than 1 hour. This is not fair. I have yet to email and file a proper complaint.

Congleton is not managed well at all. I had all my shopping at the self serve tills and asked the woman to verify my age restricted items and she blanked me and walked off! I watched her bumbling around putting baskets in trolleys and chatting to colleagues until I ended up shouting the whole supermarket down and asking her to come back again! Completely unbelievable. I had to run for my bus. She just didn’t want to press the button and allow my shopping for some odd reason and just wondered off doing other jobs even though I had asked her and the red light was flashing! What on earth was she doing? She didn’t seem to know what to do and she has been there years! I literally had to shout and make a massive embarrassment in front of everyone it was awful. It needs looking into she can’t get away with not doing the most important aspect of her job and get paid a wage it’s not right.

A new complaint staff in the South Africa call centre have been using two different female names to pretend their a manager. With another female pretending she is a man.
Especially as the staff refuse to find out
Why the Morrisons More Card App is not showing money saved in August as it has done previously?
With females using two different female names to pretend that person is a manager.
Such as Mandy and Rosemary
Then for a woman to pretend that she is a man to deal with my complaints
For myself to be cut off several times today.
With staff trying to obtain my personal information by deception to committ fraud with as not all my details are on that account with Morrisons such as full name first, middle and surname not even first and surname.
With emails received that stated I would receive a response within 2 to 3 days that didn't happen.
With unable to order a plastic card that I've ordered via the app and the telephone system that hasn't happened therefore Morrisons are stopping people having a physical plastic card.
Card number xxxx with compensation due to the lies from staff in South Africa
I am a type 1 diabetic, whole shopping in the sheffield, Hillsborough store on 28/08/2026. I had a dangerously low blood sugar event, this is a medcial emergency.
It took me several minutes walking around to locate a staff member to ask them if they sold dextrose tablets, they did not know and when I explained my situation and asked them to help me fond them they just pointed in the general direction and kept watching me. The staff member on the till showed no concern or compassion either. I was minites away from slipping into a coma and no a single person was willing to help. I hqve never been treated so badly during a lofe three ting event.
Clearly the staff need more training on vulnerability.

Appalling home delivery service. One day they cancelled a delivery claiming a lack of vans. The next day with the same order, the driver just stood at the door without knocking or ringing then left.

I have been shopping in my local morrisons for years but for the last 5 weeks the meat slicer is out of action on the deli counter but as it turns out the slicer isn't the issue ...health and safety stopped it being used for hygiene reasons because there is no hot water on the whole site due to a broken boiler which they are keeping quiet I have emailed customer service about this and still nothing is happening to correct it .....not acceptable 6 weeks no hot water the staff are sick of the situation

My shopping order was worth around £200 in total, but £90.30 worth of shopping was missing from the delivery. I sent various emails explaining the situation and the position this had put me in, but it took a full week to receive a response.
When they finally replied, they said they had spoken to the driver, who claimed that the shopping had been delivered. They simply apologised for the “misunderstanding”, but offered no refund and no replacement of the missing products.
This was particularly frustrating as it was my payday week, so I had stocked up on essential household items such as toilet roll, shampoo, washing tablets, pasta and other groceries. These were among the items that were missing, leaving me without the essentials I had specifically paid for.
As they refused to resolve the issue, I have now had to go through my bank to try to recover the £90.30 so that I can replace the items we actually needed. The whole experience has been extremely disappointing, especially given the length of time it took to receive a response and the lack of any meaningful attempt to resolve the issue.

I am registered blind, so I use specialised audible screen reading software to shop and manage my orders online. Because I cannot physically inspect my groceries upon delivery, I rely 100% on Morrisons to check expiry dates before sending them to me.
On Tuesday 18th August, I received my order. Thankfully, my cleaner/nurse was here to help unpack — otherwise I would never have known. She discovered that half a dozen steak pies — which I buy regularly for myself and members of my blind club — were already a couple of days past their use-by date.
I reported this, and Morrisons did refund the cost of the pies. They also refunded my delivery charge by way of apology, and told me "these things happen". But quite frankly — they should NOT happen. Not with food, and certainly not when a customer cannot see the label to check for themselves.
If my helper had not been here, I would have eaten food that was out of date — putting my health at serious risk. That is not acceptable. I feel no one with poor eyesight — or anyone who cannot check dates themselves — should trust Morrisons with their food safety.
Refunding the money is the easy part. The real issue is basic quality control failing at your warehouse. Please check your stock properly before packing — lives literally could depend on it. What hurt was the fact that these guys seem to think that getting out of day goods was natural I have been a Customer of Morrisons for many many years and to be honest I trusted them but I’m now wondering about super cakes. Have had a previously could they be related to this practice?

Ive been shopping at Morrisons Kingswinford since before they took the store over from Safeways.
Thats since 1978.
Most of the time the stores been pretty decent, but recently its started to go downhill.
Theyve gone and installed those idiotic self service tills havent they.
Ok so for those that want their faces scanned and tied to their credit card purchases so big brother can target them for stuff they dont need and cant afford anyway thats all fine for them.
I dont.
I dont use self service if at all possible cos every single time its the same experience, the red light of death and then the attendant/whatever they call staff these days are then running round like blue arsed flies trying to fix the screw up that these machines create.
So for me, its cash at a till manned by staff, a human face to look at , someone to speak to for a few moments, an interaction that might just lighten their humdrum day and make them feel they have value beyond being just an "employee".
Ive worked in the service industry and I know how this works, Ive heard a zillion complaints from staff ive worked with about being undervalued and over worked, thats why I will go to a till thats got a person behind it over some faceless box with lights and the same personality as one.
So its becoming harder and harder to get a till thats human manned in Morrisons Kingswinford.
The reasons given by staff ive talked to vary from "thats just how its going" to "theres no one available" which isnt good enough wouldnt you say?
Attendants to the self serve offer to help you check your items through.....but isnt that the same as just having a normal till open with a person running it?
It takes about the same time anyhow, its a pointless service to have running.
I know why theyre doing it, its down to money yet again.
Corporate are greedy at the best and worst of times and will do anything to save a penny here and there (less staff lesss money going out their profits but less folk employed-great business plan) regardless of the fact it costs them in the long term due to unsatsified customers and poor experiences.
Do yourself a favour Morrisons Kingswinford, and make sure you have at least one manned till open at all times, you do still believe in the customer always being right dont you?
Good, do it, get it done and stop with this rush to replace humans with soul less machinery.
I may just as well quit shopping there if things dont improve.
This complaint is dedicated to all the Morrisons staff at Kingswinford that are being run ragged daily and not appreciated.
Ps Lidl Kingswinford are getting it in a minute also. same stuff, different day. More staff fed up with being run around like slaves just to deal with faulting machines.

Complaint sent in June and we are nearly in September.. just goes to show hiw little they value their customers..
A nail in their own brand rice cakes, no less!
With their fruit going out of date too quickly, empty shelves and staff stocking up blocking aisles, it is no wonder why they are losing so much money..
Customer Services absolutely useless...
Continuation from Morrisons response below. This person has dealt with this issue previously and just goes to show how incompetent their customer services are.
Why does it take 4 different people to resolve such an uncomplicated matter
Perhaps when AI takes over, Morrisons Customer service assistants will be gone. Thats if Morrisons make it as their numbers are bad.. not much of a business strategy in place to address their dropping of market share...

Going to keep away from all the negative aspects of visiting my local Morrisons store at Mayo Avenue and say thank you to Laura who on my last 2 visits has been really helpful. Broke off from what she was doing to find stock 'in the back' and direct me to products I was unable to find. Following experiences in this and other Morrisons stores which has been less than satisfactory well done Laura and perhaps you could give your colleagues a lesson in great customer service.
