£1100 taken by Opodo & no flights, no contact
Booked 2 flights to the Middle East in December for £1100 for travel 1st June.
Decided to postpone them on account of the US Iran war.
Was advised that we had to travel before 1st August but couldn’t travel because June flights had been recorded as “NO SHOW”.
It is now 22nd August and no contact from Opodo.
We are £1100 out of pocket.
This money has been taken by Opodo for flights that could not be used.
We just want to fly with tickets we have paid for.

Opodo Review – Extremely Poor Service & Unacceptable Practices
We tried to cancel our subscription last year and were told it was “too late,” so we had no choice but to keep it. We were reassured at the time that we would not be charged again. Yet today, Opodo took another payment without permission, provided no service, and immediately informed us that we cannot have a refund. Instead, they told us we must “revisit this in August 2027,” which is completely unacceptable.
We requested a call back from a manager and were told it would be scheduled. I have no confidence this will happen. Instead of any support, Opodo logged us out of our account right after taking the money, no access, no service, no refund.
This feels like a scam. We chose Opodo in good faith, but after reading similar reviews, it’s clear this is a pattern. Very poor customer service, no accountability, and no respect for customers.
Avoid at all costs.

You didn´t allow me to book my flight…
You didn´t allow me to book my flight unless I sign up for Prime, it wasn´t an offer but you are forcing people. Then on the top of of ur call agent was trying to persuade me three times to keep Prime and I found that very irritating, let alone that cancelling Prime on ur webpage is mission impossible.
Next time allow me to book a regular flight without forcimg me with tricks to sign up for Prime, I would appreciate that.
