StayAway

Stay away at all costs
Decided to take on a PayPoint contract in February 2024 under the bravado that Collect+ services, counter cash services, over the counter bill paying and and day to day banking would be available from day 1.. of which nothing was actually available - after I'd signed up to a 5 year contract on a 2 year notice REQUIREMENT which the rep assured me meant the contract was a 2 year length

It took us almost 8 months( paying £144 a month) to go live with our first service and earn our fitst commission from - Collect+ but ONLY Yodel services

We're now 15 months into our 24 month notice period and our ONLY useful service is being taken from our store with no reason given, no response from customer support, forced to talk to AI chat bots to get any answer whatsoever being the most canned legalese answer possible

They gave my store 24 HOURS NOTICE that the only service they provide me is being removed for seemingly no reason

But they still want their £144 a month, which I'm contractually obliged to pay until February next year or pay a massive buyout fee

It's unbelievable that this company has been allowed to do this to so many stores with no comeback

There are 5 Indian/sri lankan owned stores within a 5 mile radius offering Yodel as a service who according to our collection driver accept 10-30 parcels each a day who are keeping their service

My store is white/malay owned, we process 80-200 parcels a day, 6 days a week

Read into that what you will

Stay away at all costs, completely unregulated, unrestricted, uncontactable scam outfit and one of the worst financial decisions I've ever made

Burning the almost £3000 would have at least warmed me up a bit, significantly more useful than giving it to this company

Give the service back to post office

Wasted 3 hours today trying to get an idp. Used to be so easy at the post office.

3 hours later I still don’t have one.

Ignore the website as retailers have stopped issuing them as it takes too long.

If you do find one that actually does it cross your fingers as the machine probably isn’t working.

I am extremely frustrated with the…

I am extremely frustrated with the repeated failure of PayPoint services across multiple locations, causing significant inconvenience, wasted time, hasssle, severe inconeience , time and unnecessary expenses.
I was then directed to alternative PayPoint locations, only to face further issues:

Unit 36-37, Monarch Parade, London Rd, Mitcham CR4 3HA - they use paypoint logo and women looks suspicious as she took my phone with my voucher, then gave me a card which did not work.

One store’s machine was also not working. siri express

Another store claimed they had run out of EDF cards.

A third store outright stated they do not process PayPoint transactions—despite displaying the PayPoint logo. i can provide the details of these shops as well. that was the store londis mitham road, convenience store, i have been there 3 -4 times, and despite they logi, the y dont have paypoint machines working.

This raises serious concerns about whether these businesses are falsely advertising PayPoint services. Customers like myself are being misled, forced to go from shop to shop, only to find that essential services are unavailable. I have no way of knowing whether these recurring problems have even been reported or addressed, but it is clear that PayPoint is failing to ensure a reliable service.

Given the repeated inconvenience, wasted travel, and stress caused, I demand a goodwill compensation of £100 to cover my travel costs and as recognition of the disruption I have faced. More importantly, I expect an immediate investigation into why so many locations are failing to provide the service they advertise under the PayPoint brand.

I trust this matter will be taken seriously, and I expect a prompt response with a resolution.

Company needs to close down

So, so bad. They’ve taken over the international driving permits from Royal Mail, with absolutely no ability to substantiate them - they barely have any stores, and the ones they do have are closed (don’t use the website, which says stores are open when they aren’t). Please give up.

POOR SERVICE FROM PAYPOINT !!

POOR SERVICE FROM PAYPOINT !!! Incorrect information always given and you wait on the phone for longer than a hr. It’s either poor staff or management because they are always in staff training apparently according to customer service.

CUSTOMERS - USE PAYZONE STORES TO TOP UP GAS CARDS AND ELECTRICTY KEYS -WHICH WILL BE FOUND AT ANY POST OFFICE. WAY BETTER SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED AS PAYPOINT DONT VALUE RETAILERS !!

PayPoint Review – Site ID 63322

Absolutely appalling customer service! No matter what time of day you call, be prepared to wait over an hour to speak to someone. The excuse is always the same: “staff are in training”. This is unacceptable, especially when it happens every single time.

As a retailer, I am the first point of contact for customers, and they expect issues to be resolved promptly. However, PayPoint’s inability to provide adequate support leaves me and my customers frustrated.

When it comes to their rights, PayPoint has no problem bullying retailers with charges for things like rejected direct debits. But when their service fails, all you get is nonsense excuses and no accountability.

You will not get an IDP

Went to 4 different PayPoints (they are all located 40 minutes each way from me and I live in London) to get an IDP. Each one said their pay point wasn't working or that they didn't have the necessary IDP. Ended up not being able to get an IDP for my trip to mexico despite leaving over a week for what in 2022 took me 10 minutes at the post office.

Avoid like the plague

Would give them minus stars. The customer phone number is just a series of automated messages. I now don’t have any heating because 9 shops I wasted 6 hours driving around the borough refused to take my fuel voucher and the last one, the 10th the scanner didn’t work. They couldn’t give a monkeys. Horrible service.

Appalling customer service

I have a retail business and due to service issues I have called them multiple times since last 3 days and every time call drops after couple of hours.
Today it went through and I was talking to Laura and called dropped again within 20 seconds after security checks were completed.
I waited in the queue for 2 hours and 5 mins and no one called me back.
I pay them for the services provided in my premises but unfortunately due to no competition they treat retailers like a piece of crap.
Horrible customer service.

Really hard to get IDP from them

We went to at least 4 Paypoint before we are able to get a IDP, the stuff there either are very rude and unhelpful or not equipped to process it.

Especially the one in 119 Collingwood Cres Boxgrove Park Guildford, GU1 2PF. We went there twice, called them both time to ask them if they are able to do it. They always say yes and ask us to go in, but always unable to do it when we get there.
