Should be 0 stars really - Burnley store staff lies!

Should be 0 stars really. Bought a TV package & broadband in the Burnley store based on information and promises made by the sales assistant, Danielle, which turned out to be lies. They advised that deals could be made throughout the 2 year contract but after 4 months, our bill doubled in price. I visited the store again after the initial sign up, but Danielle assured me that the discount she initially made were permanent, but the following month the discount to end. Other store staff admitted at the time that it wasn't explained correctly, but as the contract was signed, they couldn't do anything. I've now had to significantly reduce my TV package to be able to afford the monthly payments. You can get much better deals elsewhere - don't believe their lies!

I wanted a gaming PC for £42 a month…

I wanted a gaming PC for £42 a month when it arrived I was eager to set it up I couldn't even get to windows without it restarting and going in to a restart loop,so I asked for an exchange, the exchange was made with DPD whom were useless because after waiting 4-5 days the delivery driver couldn't be bothered to attempt delivery so I had to wait another 24hrs this time the box arrived damaged and was taped up with brown tape and not the cyberpowerPC tape which on the tape it says if this tape is broken to contact a number(i didn't) i ignored it as I just wanted to play on my PC so I set it up and once again it went into a restart loop so the next day I rang EE whom apologised and said they would send another (same make and everything) i asked if I could change it for a different one with different specs and wasn't bothered if it cost a little more they said no,So anyway 3 phone calls and 2 weeks later, today I was supposed to have it delivered by DPD and the same guy couldn't be bothered to deliver it so I've got to wait another 24hrs.At this point It feels like they are sending me the same broken PC I returned previously...3rd times the charm right?! PCs should be tested before its even sent out I mean its not like its a £200 watch this things worth over a £1000 if this PC doesn't work they can fuckoff im going to an Ombudsman or something, my first payment is due on Friday along with my phone bill which amounts to nearly £100 a month, I'd like to know if anyone else has had this issue when ordering a PC from EE.

Product never delivered

I ordered a smart watch with EE which never arrived, after contacting DPD and EE they said they would refund me, but the watch I purchased was out of stock and other varieties of it had gone up by £100 in price since my initial order. After contacting customer service they said that they were unable to help and all they could do is offer a refund, so I never got the watch in the end.

Poor customer service

Prices and credit terms are reasonably competitive.
However trying to cancel a nightmare, even before despatch. Which was contradictory, don't offer the facility to cancel then don't have the option on the order
Customer service friendly but don't ring back as promised, different promises/ assurances with each agent. Reasonable customer complaint escalation process. However can not recommend this company.

Bad Customer Service. I am aware it’s partly my fault but…

I am aware it’s partly my fault but after being with EE for 19 years on a rolling contract of £17.50 per month I changed to Lebara £5 per month including EU roaming so exactly the same for £12.50 a month cheaper (£150 a year) unfortunately I wasn’t told I needed to ring EE by the person in the shop so I just stopped my DD in November 25. This week I received a Final demand for £37.71 it said they had suspended my account. I went in store to pay it to be told it had now increased to £55 even though the number had already been suspended so could not be used. I was informed I had to pay the full amount which I did. I would certainly recommend anyone thinking of taking out an account to look elsewhere as a customer of £19 years having paid a few thousands of pounds to the company they could not give me a discount off the account that was actually no longer working I strongly recommend Lebara

NEVER go in an EE store.

I've been with EE since they were T-Mobile. Dealing with them on the phone and online is fine, but never enter one of those stores if you know what's good for you!!

The staff are all on commission based income so they'll sell you whatever gets them a decent payday, however useless it might be for you.
I'd had problems with a device and the store manager attempted to fix it by brutalising it with a screwdriver he pulled out of his pocket (which on its own makes me uncomfortable). He then blamed me, saying I had broken it.. obviously this is all on camera but I don't think these guys are the brightest of buttons.
They've done this kind of thing to me several times but it all came to a head 2 years ago when I was seated in the shop waiting to be assisted feeling like I was about to keel over.
After exerting the least amount of effort possible, the guy serving me spent 20 minutes pushing security cameras to me. I live in a block of 4 units for elderly and disabled persons
In an attempt to stop him doing this, I mentioned that I needed a laptop for uni that September. He then pulled out a Chromebook, insistent that it's what I wanted.
This thing was so heavy that before reaching the end of the street, it had fallen through the bottom of the bag. Returning to the store, ha just added another bag which lasted until I reached the bus stop.
I could barely pick it up, so it wasn't coming to uni with me. The words "Not fit for purpose" come to mind.
I had paid 3 times what it was worth and it's ruined 2 years of my life (which is precious time for the chronically ill).
That's pretty shameful behaviour.

EE and DHL terrible customer service

I ordered a Wireless Thermostat from EE in the Black Friday sales.
I got a message from DHL to say that I had signed for the package a couple of days later even though I was not in at the time. DHL then posted a photo of my package on a windowsill that was not a window on my house.
After two weeks of trying to get some action, I have been fobbed off with a response saying it might be another 21 days before anything happens. This for a promised 1 to 2 day delivery.
I won't be shopping with them again.

They sent a television with a broken…

They sent a television with a broken screen . The packing box did not show any sign of damage. The only method of contact was by email, they take at least 48 hours to reply ! Apparently the only one in stock, they offered no replacement and it took the best part of a month to arrange collection. I have to say their customer service is terrible.

Avoid EE Store – terrible experience

I ordered a 4TB drive from EE Store, which turned out to be a terrible, terrible, terrible mistake that I’m still seething over. The order went through fine, but after several days with no communication, I contacted their customer service to ask if they could cancel it so I could buy elsewhere and get faster shipping. Not long after sending that email, the item suddenly arrived.

Unfortunately, the drive was an OEM model, meaning there’s no manufacturer’s warranty – it even says so clearly on the front label. I emailed EE Store again to complain and request a return, but was told that I’d have to pay the return postage myself. In short, they sold me an OEM drive instead of a retail one...

At this point, I’m getting nowhere with EE Store, so I’ll be involving my credit card provider to resolve it.

Also, be aware that the only way to contact them is by email. They don’t list a phone number, and it can take days to get a response. I had to send multiple messages just to get an acknowledgment.

Never again. I’ve learned my lesson with EE Store.

Awful communication

Awful communication
I couldn’t find any proper number related to my inquiry.
Everyone was passing me to different departments.
Delivery company didn’t accommodate delivery times to my needs and I had to get a day off.
Awful experience and I never ever buy anything from EE store for sure

Faulty Television …

This is my first ever interaction with EE and it has been frustrating from start to finish. I bought a television from the website, set my account up with ease, however it got worse from there on..to my frustration the television doesn’t work, it took me a couple of days to get hold of someone, however not verbally but via email, the only voice is via the delivery company.. still to say, nearly a week later, I have a faulty television and waiting for a date when they will collect and then offer a credit.. I was hoping for a replacement but it appears EE don’t do replacements!!!

Software issues

I recently purchased the advanced digital voice phone with alexa from the EE store online. Ordering was easy and delivery was within 7 days. Now I've got the phone i am happy with it. I found the set up easy to do, but my contacts didn't automatically transfer over from my old phone i had to do this manually. Also In the user guide it says you can adjust the colour on the screen but when i followed the instructions in the display option it wasn't allowing to do this for some reason. I contacted BT/EE about the problem and I was told there was a software issue with some of these handsets, and i was offered either a replacement handset or if I prefer keep the phone and wait for the software to be updated in the near future. I opted to hold onto the phone for now. I am a bit disappointed this is happening on a new handset. Why are EE selling phones with a problem with the software. I find this deceiving and unprofessional hence reason for 3 stars. I hope the software issue gets resolved quickly.

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could.

I bought an Apple pen online and it didn’t work. I contacted EE who told me that I needed to get a fault code from Apple. I had to go in store to do this (giving up time from work - why should it be on me to do this when I have received faulty goods?) where Apple confirmed the pen didn’t work but more importantly, that the pen was ‘sold’ over two years ago. The pen was sold to me as new. Disgusted, I went into the EE store to ask for a refund. They said they couldn’t help as the pen was bought online. I emailed EE online again, attaching a copy of the Apple product report, and I have heard nothing. I was sold a ‘dud’, am £80 out of pocket and no-one will help. Appalling customer experience. I won’t use EE again.

Earphone order issues/lies

Ordered a pair of earphones on August 31st,
Said Delivery 1-3 days, didn’t arrive so I put in a cancellation request which was ignored, after it said it would be dispatched after 28 days on my order. Will not be shopping with EE again. This is unacceptable.
