I first visited the Taastrup branch because several of my good friends highly recommended both the branch and the people working there. They told me I would receive excellent service, and I can honestly say they were absolutely right. From my very first meeting, I felt welcomed, respected, and treated as a valued customer.

Morten is, without a doubt, the best bank advisor I have ever met. Throughout my experience, he demonstrated exceptional professionalism, outstanding knowledge, and excellent communication skills. He explained every step of the process in a clear, simple, and patient way, making even complex banking matters easy to understand. He always took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable before making any decisions.

What impressed me the most was that Morten genuinely cared about my needs and goals. He listened carefully, understood my situation, and worked hard to find the best possible solutions for me. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. I have encountered a lack of professionalism and unnecessary delays in handling even basic tasks. Matters that should be simple and straightforward take far longer than expected, which creates frustration and uncertainty.

When dealing with financial institutions, people expect efficiency, clear communication, and professional handling of their requests. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience so far.

As a foreign customer, I also cannot help but feel that the process becomes even more complicated. At times it seems that the bank may not be well prepared to handle situations involving clients from different backgrounds, which only adds to the frustration.

My advisor Elias is very professional and helpful. He explains everything in simple words that is easy to understand. He also provides very useful information for us when we need to choose from different solutions for financing our new house. He always considers from customer's perspective when giving advices. The bank with such professional advisor is definitely worth serious consideration.

A great bank with excellent customer service

I have switched to Sparekassen Sjælland when buying an apartment and so far it seems to be a wise decision. I value personal service very highly and that is exactly what SPKS managed to provide - even in situations of lack of my knowledge in banking and Danish laws/rules or differences in opinions, SPKS employees were absolutely professional, patient and ready to provide all information that could help. Looking forward to continue our collaboration.

We are long-term clients of Nordea, but recently switched to Sparrekassen Sjaelland (Østerbro) due to recommendation and fact that large banks like Nordea, Danske Bank are slow to rate loans if you are a foreigner.

Our point of contact was Tobias Madsen - he made very personal service, providing us fast assessments of apartments as well as suggesting lawyer and insurance packages. We also opened various different bank accounts , luckily he advised us to find the best solution for our needs. Currently, we do not have any experience with everyday banking but mobile application and online bank seems to work fine, so we are looking forward to see how our future co-operation will work.

Definitely, would recommend to use Sparekassen Sjaelland services if you look for a personalized approach.

They only help if u have milloins in your account ..otherwise they dont even want to talk to u..they should be closed by the government

I had ordered some USD some years ago...(2011).. when i went to pick up the money in Holbæk Danmark i was short by 10 DKK... the teller reached into his pocket and pulled out a 'tier'. Never seen that anywhere in Denmark... it was like going back in time to a New England Town(USA) in the 'Stephen King' era... but without the horror. This experience is compounded by other even more delightful experiences... kudos to SPKS.dk
