I have been using the free version of AVG Antivirus for a few months now, and it has been really solid. It runs quietly in the background and doesn't slow down my laptop at all, which is super important for me.What I like most is how it scans everything in real-time. It always warns me if I accidentally visit a sketchy website or try to download a risky app. It also gives me helpful alerts, like telling me when I need to restart my computer to finish an update or fix a security issue. It really makes me feel safe while browsing.The only small downside is that the free version pops up sometimes asking you to upgrade to the paid plan. It can be a little annoying, but honestly, for a free program that actually protects your PC, it is totally worth it. I highly recommend it if you want good protection without paying anything.

Bloat wear. Over use of marketing pop ups. Pop ups with no easy exit options. All this makes me want to leave the product

I have been usin g AVG for well over 15 years. I trust it. in fact I so much trust in it that I have recommened it to family and friends who now are also users. The product itself is great with a user friendly interface and highly effective. The price is very reasonable as well.

Y E S!!! AVG has been an old friend of mine for years- even back to my PC days. I also use AVG on my iPhone and on my wife's also.
AVG is a tremendous security protection... IF You Use It!

Totally reliable I feel safe in their hands

I took out a free trial with AVG for one of their TUNE UP bits of software.
I personally found the software not very good and I tried to cancel this on my AVG account which was not very helpful and seemed deliberately confusing. To reinforce this I got my bank ahead of time to block any payments to them.
Low and behold they went to the bank with a new reference and took the money. They clearly want your money and resort to the lowest tricks to do so. Draw your own conclusion from that. The lesson learnt is don't use them

Have used AVG for many years, has never let me down.

I have been with AVG for almost 25 years now and i have never had a virus ruin my machine. Very reliable, regular updates, and fantsatic prices for 10 devices. My 100% choice is AVG.

AVG autorenewal is a con, I thought I de-activated autorenewal months ago.
Then you get emails that ended up in my spam folder.
Then it auto renews and charges $90, the same day I contact them to cancel auto renewal and refund. They only refund 50%, complete conartists - Don't use

I like this Antivirus programm but... There has to be a better way to contact them. I tried to write an email but couldn't find an email adress anywhere. It's about getting a subscription for 2 computers. This could not be done in a user friendly way at this company. And this is the reason why companies such as this bleed money.

The enhanced firewall, ransomware protection and my favorite, file shredder are very good tools, and avg works great when paired with defender. My favorite stuff are the file shredder and deep scan, but life shredder is a little too heavy on ram

As a long term client, I find AVG Suite of products to be both efficient & comprehensive - great User Interface too!
