Your assistant was very helpful and friendly. However we think it is wrong that the contract had got to over £100 a month just because we didn't keep renewing it, when really it should have been £37... See more

Still on the phone waiting for a reply, currently at 33.53 minutes.

Too much in so many different ways, MAX depression and MAX stress all in one. Ofcom take note
Too much in so many different ways taking me to MAX levels of stress and financial loss of business. Fast comes to mind as Daisy takes over. The 02 business simplicity for business not.
Shocking if we are talking 04August with broadband disconnected to stitch you up with a forced change over from landlines to Internet telephone without proper advice on the 28/07/28. No notice of switch over and the consequences in their email of the same date where the link to information had a message it could not connect 😆. Yet today their technical refer me to that email to justify I have no phone line active for customers to get through to and they did their job 😆
The consequences of the stitch up as I call it, lost the use of your business line set up in 3 locations. Ev charging went out the window as was not prepared for the stitch up. Had to wait 24 hours to charge the ev electric vehicle to the max, because of software issues owing to the short notice or stitch up. If I had advance notice I could have prevented ending up with no miles to drive.
I label it "Customer Experience MAX" or maximum pain as a customer experience, could I be all maxed out after all this ? Yes? Max stress has me all maxed out after considering all the costs implications at a max as a max insight into customer experience with cost implications as a result or losses that cost lots
16 days of disconnection for house number 3.
A message on your business line saying you are not available. Only found out today. Wow!!
Then I find the price has gone through the roof too to the MAX . Wow I need a slap. No wonder they never send you an invoice as an attachment. Got blind sided on that one.
Ofcom tell me they are in breach on contract renewals for not advising customers like me directly in the body of the email. Go to the app your invoice is ready is a breach of the rules in the notification of renewal hidden
Maybe its time to kick them into touch. What do you think ladies and gentleman. £90 a month for broadband and line which got removed early when I was paying for it to stay at a hefty price to the max as a customer experience. A long term period available as a safe investment ?
I think not. A costly investment that could have been avoided if i didn't have a long term plan to change over when I was ready. Seems a bit much when all said and done. Do I deserve this customer Experience Max . 16 days loss of revenue and potential damage to the business too, what a Max !!
Are they through to the next round ? I have demanded compensation as one of my requests which, included refunds of pointless monies paid overtime under the circumstances. Oh I almost forgot they forced a divert to a number I didn't authorise which was my mobile. So I was getting an overload of calls even when I was trying to sleep or avoid business calls as I had an independant line for business calls obviously. They ignored my email on the subject as it was to go to a voip number. Oh they read the email they told me, but over rid what I had intended as evasive action as it were or planned action to get the calls back into the office so I didn't lose any more trade and income. You know I am in a poor signal area which customer service team are aware at Daisy mobile contracts. So why they would want to divert it to a mobile without my authority is another example of what it can be like with them taking over control without your consent as they did or did in this case. Taking it once again to the MAX
Certainly i could not deal with mobile calls when I am driving including taking orders. I call it rape of my mobile number because they forced themselves on my number which I pay for to the Max. Surely I have rights in these circumstances? Another costly MAX in the situation, I should not have to endure. I am all maxed out now in complaints as they have taken me to the MAX after chasing them 11 August and again 20 August without success or them listening. They achieved nothing but making it worse in that time period. MAX stress i tell you I feel even now, to the point of depression to the MAX at times. Its totally wrong. Becareful out there people. don't get stressed to the MAX or by the MAX customer experience If, you can avoid it. I tried and failed as a turns out, a customer experience taking me to max levels with worry, anxiety and stress and loss of business and potentially damage to the goodwill of the business and of course daily income over 16 days. I mean how do you know they let the disconnection stand if you are getting the usual dial tone. But actually the line is no longer functioning for inbound calls as its now via a router and not the BT socket. They ignored by demand to put it back for more than 5 days 😆
You have to laugh sometimes to overcome depression
NB The word max is a short form of maximum. It means the highest limit, greatest amount, of course

After being an XLN customer for over 20…
After being an XLN customer for over 20 years we cancelled the account when we retired in June. We paid a cancellation fee to close the account of £358.80 on 11.06.26 to stop the monthly charge of £92.18 (standing charge). We believed that the account was closed on that date, but received a further bill of £192.46 today (20.08.26) for what I have no idea. On speaking to someone from their customer services they said as a gesture of goodwill they would reduce it to £152.73. I would not recommend this company to anyone ever!!

55 mins wait on the emergency help line
My line was been cut off at 11.30, before the engineer arrived to complete the work for change over to fibre.
I have called XLN 3 times today. The first person I spoke to was helpful although he did say that lines are cut off sometimes on the day of the transfer over to fibre. The engineer that came out said this is never the case, lines are not stopped before the work is done. The second person I spoke to at XLN was condescending and rude. He told me to get in touch with the fault line and gave me the number. He said he could not transfer me.
Your "emergency line” is not an emergency line, otherwise I would have been put through straight away to an operator. I was on hold for 53 mins. The line was checked near the beginning of the call and then I was on hold. The upshot is that I was told to go and buy a 4G dongle and set it up that way, for the time being. I have paid £60 for this, and was only given a voucher for £50. Talk about lack of understanding. The worst customer service ever.
UPDATE thank you for your reply. I’ve had to buy a 4G dongle, as suggested, because yours would not arrive until Monday. My WiFi is weak due to poor mobile signal and I’m struggling to operate my business. I’m astounded that you think running a business without connectivity for 5 days is acceptable. I’ve had no updates from you.

XLN have a non-existent customer…
XLN have a non-existent customer service. They dont respond to emails and the chat facility doesnt work either.
They continue to charge monthly costs when the contract was cancelled and to top it off they have now added £199 cancellation fee with failed direct debit charges.
I am hoping someone responds to this to close this matter out please.

Supply poor quality equipment with…
Supply poor quality equipment with slack support service. My phone developed a fault a month ago. Took a week for them to dispatch a new base unit. Tried to set it up using the web chat option. Complete waste of time. Now im stuck on the phone to support, still not answered after an hour as they are 'experiencing an unusually high call volume'.
Another example of a phone company who cant or wont answer the phone.
I'm so pissed off, i wonder if i can cancel this contract or are all the rules in their favour?
Terrible terrible service.

Thinking of transferring your phone lines?
We are in the process of transferring our phone lines to Daisy XLN and have now been without our 28year old number for 24hrs. this is having a massive impact on our business. I have been in contact with customer services as they are not keeping me updated. Still waiting. The transfer, as per their website, will be seamless, it is anything but.

Swapped over to internet phone line…
Swapped over to internet phone line that I never asked for, phone line went live on 6th according to texts and emails. Phone hasn’t worked since then, spent hours trying to get it working. Contacted technical support for them to tell me it isn’t live until 24th. Give me a service I don’t want and then messed it up so it doesn’t work. Add in the ridiculous price increase and not being anywhere near competitive for a renewal. Steer well clear of these and the other companies they trade as

No personal touch , pathetic customer care
Had a great service for years then an absolute disaster from them
Ten years of business thrown away
Refusing to release our phone number
Terrible customer service
Cost our business a lot of trade trying to function on a dongle for over a month in one of our busiest locations. Typical corporate intransigence. Avoid them, also still billing us for fibre after we’ve moved, utterly disgusted with them If the ’Daisy’ team give me a contact I’ll forward all the correspondence from our new provider listing the causes of delay in 3 locations, one still ongoing!!

I would have given 0 stars If I could. After several calls and reassurances from XLN staff. I have lost hope.
I called them to change my company details on the account. I was told to make a new account with them. They made a new account on the phone and added a different name on the account because of which I was told to make a third account.
They have been charging me for all 3 accounts for 1.5 years now and I couldn't cancel because of the contract.

Absolutely appalling service
Absolutely appalling service! I transferred from BT to XLN/Daisy and have been billed incorrectly and received the wrong phones. They do not make anything clear. BT are also billing me at the same time and are blaming XLN for not porting the phones and broadband properly. I wish I had stayed with BT!!!!!! THIS HAS BEEN SO STRESSFUL WHILE TRYING TO RUN A BUSINESS - I HAVE HAD TO CALL XLN NEARLY EVERY DAY FOR 1 WHOLE MONTH!

I dont understand why this company says one thing on the phone and then do something else. It seems its normal culture for this company to do contract on the phone and then put other add ons that wernt discussed, they hope on you not seeing subsequent emails and trap you in. Too many crooks in suit in this company. Dont understand why o2 or virgin or daisy would want anything to do with this company. Never again ff.
