Very well organised
Very well organised, meaning all participants felt safe.
A very full programme of craft and cultural activities had been organised which were varied and all of which were interesting and engaging.
As an older lady travelling alone I felt secure and safe travelling with Aahilya. The group bonded together well as we all had shared interests.
The hotels we stayed in were excellent.
The coach was comfortable and driven with skill.
Local guide was very knowledgeable and affable.
This was not a lazy holiday, as each day was full and involved early starts and walking around. Participants need to be mobile and reasonably fit.
I would definitely recommend Aahilya holidays to anyone looking to explore a new culture and experience the crafts of that culture or country.

Just back from a month in India
Just back from a month in India, all arranged so well by Aahilya holidays - two weeks on a textile-oriented trip in Himachal and Punjab, and a week either side in Uttarakhand and then western Rajasthan. This team can arrange anything you ask for and do it with such enthusiasm! I will definitely travel with them again.

Textile heaven
Aahilya Holidays provided me with a wonderful holiday specialising in looking at textiles. They took us to places that the average tourist would not see. Their guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. Any problems that arose with our group were sorted quickly and efficiently.

Wonderful experience
Great hotels, super guides, wonderful workshops. Too many things these days are referred to as "an experience" but my holiday to Himachal and Punjab truly was.

Aahilya Holidays trip to Himachel…
Aahilya Holidays trip to Himachel Pradesh was wonderful. From start to finish the organisation was superb. We visited and were welcomed into amazing villages, we visited places we could never have found on our own. Transport, hotels, guides and drivers were all excellent. The workshops with skilled artisans were fascinating. There were many very moving moments, the meals provided in the Golden Temple, the visit to the Tibetan museum, the sight of the snow covered Himalayas. A common love of textiles made for a very happy group. I recommend Aahilya holidays to anyone who loves textiles or loves India.

Aahilya Holidays' recent tour of Punjab…
Aahilya Holidays' recent tour of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh was a masterpiece. Isha Sharma's passion is for textiles but this tour included artisan textile production and so much more; history, culture, quality hotels, expert guides & attention to the minutest detail in caring for her clients; fabulous Himalayan scenery, workshops in rare embroidery & craft techniques, & so many extras
added to the programme. The tour of a lifetime. I am so grateful to have experienced this.

Textile Tour of Gujarat with Aahilya Holidays/ Isha goes beyond to…
Aahilya Holidays/ Isha goes beyond to create a textile holiday of a lifetime. A fabulous experience in Gujarat. The cultural aspect of the tour was superb, The interactions with the local communities was wonderful. I saw a part of the real India. The guide was so knowledgeable in all things. Nothing was too much trouble, Isha went out of her way to make sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed. This is the third time I have been with Isha on these holidays and she does not disappoint. Everything has been visited and checked before it becomes part of the Itinerary. Even down to the food and water, to make sure it will be enjoyable and safe. If I could give Aahilya Holidays a 100 stars, I would. I will look forward to my next adventure with them

A definite, not to be missed trip for Indian textile lovers
If you're looking for fun, fabrics, food, facts, friends and photography then Aahilya Holidays are just for you.
This is the second trip I've been on with Isha (the 5th with her associated company). From the moment I expressed an interest in going to Gujarat then all the way through till I was back on the plane home nothing was too much trouble for her.
The group was taken off the beaten track to see amazing textiles, embroideries, weaving, block printing and tie & dyeing. Often we were able to participate in workshops led by master craftspeople.
A great experience
