Very convenient pick up and drop off for the airport. Very quick and easy check-in and check-out. When we experienced a problem with our truck (the parking brake locked up) the service van came within 5 minutes and promptly resolved the issue.

This company gets great reviews, and I now know why. Cars are really good, service is friendly and efficient and there insurance policy is fantastic value given the cover. Will definitely be using them again.

The small JAC SUV we rented had major engine problems when starting cold in that it stalled and felt like it was running on 2 cylinders. We almost got hit when I tried to enter an intersection and it stalled out. I returned it and they took it for a drive and said it was fine, which it was after it warmed up after 5 minutes or so. I can't recommend AB due to their lack of interest in the safety of their clients.

We rented a car for 3 weeks in January, our original flight was delayed a day, although we told AB car rental 2 months in advance of the flight change, they refused to let us know. refund the lost day. Rental company to avoid.

Great staff, super easy pick up on arrival and great drop off on departure.
The car was in good shape. Great online communication beforehand. All went well. Highly recommend.

You receive the service that they promise you. My flight had a 2 hours delay but when i arrived the taxi was there to pick us up and take us to the office. When arrived at the office the staf was very friendly and service minded, loved that. The car was new, full tank.
The day I had to return the car, it was raining heavly and it flooded their garage but despite that, the service was TOP!! They took me right away to the airport, staff was very friendly too.

Perfect service again! Good car and pick-up/ drop off services from airport.

I would not reccomend renting the Wingle 5 single cabin. It broke down four times during our renting period of eight days… AB’s service was good tho, three of the four times we got to get the car rolling ourselves, but the one time it did not start at all and they sent us someone to repair the car and he got there in about 15 minutes and got the car working in about 5 minutes, wich was nice.

I arrived in Bonaire by cruise ship and wanted to experience the amazing diving. I scrambled looking for a car to rent for my short time on the island. Many car rental agencies didn't have availability due to me booking in short notice.

ABCarRental initially stated they didn't have any availability, but after telling them I would only be there for one day, replied back stating they had a cancellation and would be able to accommodate a rental for me.

They stated there was a 3-day minimum for the rental totaling $210 despite only having the truck for 5 hours. They wouldn't budge on the rate after booking or after returning the truck.

After signing the contracts and going over the truck, we were told not to lock the doors of the truck, as thiefs would know I would be underwater. If a break in were to happen, I would be responsible for the damage and it would not be covered by the insurance.

I was happy I was able to rent a vehicle for my short visit to the island, buy I was not happy in the end that I had to pay a 3-day minimum when there were many other rental agencies on the island I could have gone with instead, and I was outside of my cancellation window.

If you are requesting to be picked up from a location upon your arrival to the island, make sure your times agree with each other. I ended up walking to the office from the cruise terminal (about 1 mile) because our ride was nowhere to be seen.

AB not what it used to be. Trucks that wouldn’t pass an inspection in the states (seriously), and the transfer back to the airport dropped us off on across the parking lot to avoid paying a fee.

booked to pick up from airport! had to go to their yard waiting for big bus to pick us from airport as per their rep said and no little mini bus crammed in lots not worry about covid got to yard they changed booking and had to sort out again!! truck wasn't completely clean inside but what with being on a plane all day just wanted to get to apartment, rear bed and tailgate on truck had BIG RUST HOLES and nasty screw bolts used to try and fix things just rip into your kit!! drop of was easy just left truck on roadside as per their instructions and walked away

These guys were awesome. I had to unexpectadly extend my stay in bonaire….AB totally took care of me… they enabled me to make the best out of a bad situation. Car drove well, made it extremely easy to get around the island…..everything was explained with no suprises…ill definitely be renting here again when i return

Awful! Read the T&C’s carefully before booking with this company! They changed their cancellation terms and conditions after my booking to specifically name pandemics and then attempted to keep all of my money once I was unable to travel to Bonaire. Thankfully I disputed the charge with the credit card company and received the majority of money back, minus the correct $75 cancellation charge. AB say that the money was being withheld permanently and I could use it in the future, but that is awful with what’s going on today regarding Covid and the changes people have had to make to their plans. The local agent I booked my accommodation with and the event companies all refunded my money no problem. Thanks for adding to the stress of recent events AB! I’m sure they have many many happy clients but this disgusting practice has left a very sour taste. I hope others take heed before booking.
