Good, reliable service

Driver was on time, helped with bags, very polite. Payment was easy - happy to see the new system issues were all resolved. Car was comfortable.

Admiral Behaviour

Unfortunately our flight was cancelled at short notice but Airport Executive responded admirably. Their driver Andrei tried to call us to let us know that Heathrow was closed but as he couldn't get us on the phone, he turned up anyway to inform us of the situation. We later received a call telling us we would be refunded. Perfect behaviour all round. We have used Airport Executive in the past and have always found them extremely reliable, and we will definitely be using them in the future.

Mixed

They ignored my later booking time in favour of the plane landing time - even though it subsequently resulted in my receiving "waiting" charges because, inevitably, there was a gap between getting off the plane and getting through luggage. The waiting charge was 50% (!!) of the total booking cost.

Edited - they followed up with me after I complained and refunded the extra fee and offered my an upgrade on future bookings. I will also say that the actual driver and car were good - only this booking experience and subsequent complaints were bad. Maybe I was unlucky but I shall still be avoiding them in the future because their booking system doesn't appear to allow you to book for a later time to avoid the risk of late charges.

Highly recommend Airport Executive as…

Highly recommend Airport Executive as they arranged several transfers for my summer vacation around Europe in different cities. Much easier than arranging myself and they were always on hand to answer my query over the phone.. I even got upgraded on two journeys. Great service guys!

Private transfer cheaper than train

We were a group of 5 heading skiing and needed a transfer to Gatwick. Far cheaper than trains and a pleasurable experience on both outbound and inbound trips. Our flight was delayed on return but the driver was already aware and was waiting for us at arrivals. Great service at a fair price.

Disappointed loyal customers

We have been very loyal Airport Executive customers for years and have generally been very happy with the service. The booking service is efficient and friendly and the drivers are prompt, helpful and courteous. We were therefore very disappointed in our most recent experience when I made an online booking. The booking confirmation said the journey would cost £70 + parking fees. The total GBP Cost was £76.
Our transatlanic flight to Heathrow arrived early (the pilot announced this prior to take-off so it shouldn't have been a surprise) and the driver wasn't there to meet us. He phoned to say he was stuck in traffic so we had to wait for him in Arivals for over half an hour. When he eventually arrived, we thought it strange as we made our way to the car that he didn't stop off at the machine to pay for parking but thought nothing more of it. We assumed that we'd be paying the minimum 1/2 hour parking charge of £6, as stated in our booking confirmation.
A few days later, I noticed that Airport Executive had charged my credit card £85.20. This was £9.20 more than the confirmed amount. I phoned Airport Executive on 26th and 27th October to query this and spoke to a very helpful agent. She told me that AE automatically charge for one hour parking on an online booking (plus a £2.50 processing fee - not made clear at the time of booking) even though our booking confirmation stated otherwise. When I explained that we were the ones who had been kept waiting, I was told that I'd be refunded £6.70.
One month later, no refund has appeared on my credit card statement. I chased this up with Airport Executive on 8th Nov (apparently an email had been sent to Accounts on 27th Oct. The agent said she'd chase it up) and again on 13th Nov when I asked to speak to a supervisor. The agent said she'd sent another email to Accounts and she also spoke to the Control Team. She was really trying hard to assist me. I was assured that someone in the Control Team would check with Accounts and call me back. I never heard back.
The amount in question isn't great and anyone can make a mistake, but the refusal to correct that mistake adds insult to injury. This is hardly the way to treat loyal customers. And it isn't honest.

Generally on time and without a doubt…

Generally on time and without a doubt always honest if they cannot provide a car at the time I want. I have used them for over 20 years. I have tried others but they do not offer the same personal service. Going to the Airport is stressful and Airport Executive remove that stress with the text they send advising your car is 10 minutes away and again when outside.

Totally untrustworthy

Despite three separate conversations with the driver on his mobile, he totally failed to find my address. Eventually, at risk of missing my flight, I had to ring for a car from another firm, which fortunately arrived within minutes. Airport Executive have failed, despite several requests, to refund the payment which they nevertheless took from my card and I have had to report this firm to the Trading Standards Officer. One star is the minimum permitted rating on this review site; otherwise, I wold have given them zero.

unreliable

They are unreliable. In the last two weeks I used them twice. The first time was to pick me up at home and they showed up 25min late. The second time was for a pick up at the airport - as I landed they cancelled the booking because the flight landed “it is late and our cars are finished now”. That was at 10pm and their website says they are open 24h a day.

Dear Jorge, yesterday was an execeptional day all over UK, government had issued a Red Warning because of storm Eunice. That meant our driver fleet was down by more than 50% and to make matters worse your flight was delayed by over 5 hours. Throughout the day we were struggling to meet the customer demand as even when the flights managed to land passengers were not allowed to disembark. There was a problem with baggage not being off loaded due to staff shortage at Heathrow, this compounded the matter even further. We have an impeccable service record having traded for over 30 years and the last thing we would do is not honour a booking that has been made unless if it were circumstances such as these. When drivers are delayed due to heavy traffic we keep try our customers in advance as early as possible. We are extremely sorry that we were not able to provide you with a car on this occassion and your credit card has been refunded in full. I hope you will understand our explanation and not be so harsh with the review you have given us. Please call our office so we can try to make amends.
