no response to customer requesting insurance claim
i had booked my flights to hk with accompanying insurance to cover flight schedule change and cancellation via aunty betty, eventually flight got delayed, missed my connecting flight, aunty betty operator over the phone assured me i would get covered but 9 months since the incident and numerous email without reply, i will NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY to book anything, total hopeless

They didn’t giz the problem
Waiting for over an hour wasn’t the issue. The real problem was that I had to call them three times and they still hadn’t sorted it out. What’s more, they’d already taken money to fix it. I’ve never come across such a ridiculous company or such poor quality.

Do they really have a customer service team???? I have tried to contact customer on several occasions but couldn't get connected to any team member and these are after more than 15+ minutes of holding to get connected to customer care.

I had a very frustrating experience…
I had a very frustrating experience with Aunt Betty regarding a refund for a cancelled flight.
It has now been over 4 weeks since I submitted my refund request, and I’ve received little to no meaningful communication. I was told to wait for an EMD from Qatar Airways, but after contacting the airline directly, they confirmed that the ticket has already been refunded.
Despite this, Aunt Betty continues to provide vague and inconsistent information, with no clear timeline on when I will actually receive my money. Even worse, my recent attempts to follow up have been completely ignored.
The lack of transparency, poor communication, and failure to respond to customers is extremely disappointing. I would not recommend using this agency, especially if you need support with refunds.

Extremely poor and unprofessional service from Aunt Betty.
I have been trying repeatedly to contact them to change my flight, but they have completely ignored all calls and emails. There has been absolutely no response from their side.
This is unacceptable for a travel agency, especially when the request is time-sensitive. The airline clearly stated that only the travel agent can make changes, yet Aunt Betty has failed to take any responsibility or provide even basic customer support.
Because of their negligence and lack of communication, I am now stuck and extremely stressed about my travel plans.
I strongly warn others to think twice before booking through this agency. If something goes wrong, do not expect any support or assistance.

Worst travel agency i ever met. Not recommended at all.. !!
I had a terrible experience with Aunt Betty. Immediately after booking, I realized my first and last names were swapped. I called within an hour of booking and waited 2 hours on hold. I was told the name would be corrected for a $75 fee and they would contact me.
I heard nothing for 5 days. With only 3 days left before my flight, I called again and waited another 2.5 hours. Only then did they tell me they couldn't change the name and forced me to cancel the flight, which cost me $600. To top it off, they said the refund would take over 12 weeks. Their staff gives false information and their hold times are a nightmare. Save yourself the stress and the money—book directly with the airline or a more reputable agent.

Flight Didn’t Exist – Left Stranded at Airport & Lost Money on Travel Plans
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Aunt Betty and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking through them.
I purchased international tickets for my parents, everything appeared confirmed, and there was no indication of any issue prior to travel.
However, when my parents arrived at Airport for check-in, they were shockingly told that there was no such flight. No prior notification, no email, no update—nothing. Imagine elderly passengers arriving at the airport, only to find out their flight essentially doesn’t exist.
This is completely unacceptable. Any cancellation or schedule change should be clearly communicated well in advance. Leaving customers stranded at the airport without notice shows a serious lack of responsibility and professionalism.
Because of this failure, I didn’t just lose the flight—I also lost money on accommodation bookings and other travel arrangements that were planned around their arrival. This has caused significant financial loss on top of the stress and disruption.
To make matters worse, getting support and clear answers has been extremely difficult. Instead of resolving the issue quickly, I’ve been left chasing them while urgently trying to arrange alternative travel.
Overall:
Zero communication
No accountability
Extremely poor customer service
Caused major financial loss and stress

No customer service to reach out for help
I have been trying to contact your support team regarding my booking but have not received any response to my emails, nor have I been able to reach anyone via chat or phone.
I am scheduled to fly from Paris to Dubai; however, my flight timings were changed and confirmed without my approval. Unfortunately, the new timings do not suit me. As a result, I have been attempting to get in touch to request a cancellation.
It is extremely frustrating that there appears to be no reliable way to contact your support team, despite multiple channels being provided.
I would appreciate your urgent assistance in resolving this matter and processing my cancellation request.

I was nervous about booking with a company I hadn’t heard of it it was seemless! The booking showed up with the carrier almost instantly and I was able to cross check this with the airline booking reference.

Misleading booking: no ticket, no notification, and extremely difficult to contact support
I booked and paid for an international flight through Aunt Betty on 12 March 2026. The website showed the flights as available, and I was able to complete the payment without any issue.
However, from 12 March to 19 March, I received no ticket, no confirmation, and no communication from the company. During this time, I reasonably believed my booking was being processed.
On 19 March, I had to proactively contact them. It took nearly 3 hours on the phone to reach customer service, and over 2.5 hours waiting on live chat. Their chat system disconnects you automatically if you don’t respond within 3 minutes, without notifying you when an agent joins, meaning you have to constantly monitor the chat window with no indication of progress.
Only after I finally got through did they inform me that the booking was “unconfirmed”. If I had not followed up myself, I would not have been told, and could have discovered this much later, potentially at the airport.
They then issued a refund, but provided no alternative solutions or assistance.
Because of this, I lost the opportunity to purchase the same flights at a significantly lower price. When I searched again, prices had increased substantially, resulting in financial loss.
This experience was extremely frustrating and stressful. The system displayed flights as available when they were not, and the lack of timely communication made the situation worse.
I have also reported this issue to the New Zealand Commerce Commission, as I believe this may constitute misleading conduct.
I would not recommend using this service.
