My experience with Aurum FSG for tax years 2023 & 2024. A previous company I hired to do my 2023 crypto was a disaster. I had no confidence in them, but they required payment up front, so I stayed with them. I had several years of crypto transactions that I have been filing with the IRS myself. As they became more numerous and complex, I felt less and less confident that I was doing it properly.

I reached out to Aurum and gave all the records I had. This included exchange records (CEX and DEX) and wallet addresses. They were able to crawl along the various blockchains that I had been involved with, reconstruct the transaction history, and match my Koinly records with them.

I had several questions about my situation and they were able to answer all of them. I can now use that data to submit my claims to the IRS with confidence.

My only critisism was the payment method. I was expecting a typical ACH merchant payment like many other US based companies but they only did peer transfers. My bank would not allow this so I was forced to do a wire transfer instead. In hindsight, it probably would have been better if I just paid via crypto.
