Cancellation of membership

I have requested a cancellation of my membership after the first installment has been deducted as I misunstood the concept. I thought I was signing up for a free DOVE gift box and I had to pay for the DHL costs. I had received plenty good emails from the support team as I was upset about the deductions. My membership has been cancelled with immediate effect as well as a refund of money deducted from my account. I want to thank the support team for their good effort and support. 1-Star Review: Misleading Sign-Up and Unfair Cancellation Policy

I recently found myself signed up to this company’s membership through what felt like a very unclear and misleading process. I was simply trying to log into my daughter’s Cubs account when I was somehow enrolled in a paid membership for 2 EUR, which I never knowingly agreed to.

When I contacted customer support to cancel and request a refund, I was told that I had accepted the terms and conditions—terms I never saw or knowingly signed up for. They also refused to refund the charge and said that, even though I’ve cancelled, the membership will remain active for 14 more days and they may continue charging me during that time.

For a charge as small as 2 EUR, the principle is the issue. It’s not about the money—it’s about the lack of transparency and the poor customer experience. It feels like a trap: unclear sign-up, no proper consent, and then rigid terms that protect the business, not the customer.

I would not recommend this service to anyone. Be extremely cautious—what seems like a harmless login or small charge could turn into something much more frustrating and difficult to undo.

I will be fair and update if this is dealt with.

Update: Best Look have now contacted me. At first, they refused to refund my money. Later, they said they would issue a refund—but only if I removed this negative review. They made it clear that if I did not remove it, they would withhold the refund.

I asked how much they would refund me if I removed the review, but they did not get back to me so I haven’t removed as yet. Awaiting to hear before I action.

My fella never signed up to this online…

My fella never signed up to this online store yet they have his bank details and keep taking £40 every month out of his account! Absolutely disgusting behaviour! This is fraud… and needs to be stopped! He has changed his bank card twice yet they still find a way to get his details and keep stealing his money! How do we stop this? Somebody please help
