Purchased 2 bags of steamfresh…
Purchased 2 bags of steamfresh cauliflower and broccoli. No broccoli?
Disgusting
Bought a packet of original beef burgers only to find they have added vegetable protein in. OMG it was disgusting, when cooked it was dry as cardboard and tasted foul. Will not be buying them again.
Complained to Birds Eye whose reply was they are no longer making the original beef burgers and that We're increasingly being told about the benefits of including more plant foods in our diets, both for health and sustainability purposes. Here at Birds Eye, we just want to help you all eat a little more goodness every day by providing a new recipe with the same great taste!
Stupid question Birds Eye, what the hell are vegetables if not plant based?????????
So yet again we are being dictated to as to what we are now having to eat.
Bring back the original beef burgers and let us the customer choose what we want to eat NOT YOU.
After all customers do have a brain, we can think for ourselves.
Will never be buying another Birds Eye product again.
Plant based beef quarter pounder
Plant based beef quarter pounder. These are utter rubbish. Nothing like what they were used to be the best burger are now the worst
Terrible
Dont smell or taste at all nice, a timely reminder of the old adage , if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Birdseye
I have had birdseye original beef burgers with onion for years , you have now changed them to plant based which are the worst burgers I have ever tasted . I will never buy birdseye plant based again. GO BACK TO ORIGINAL. Shame you can't give lower than one star .
Vile hybrid beef/plant burger
Purchased a pack of Birds Eye quarter pounder beef burgers as I have been doing for years so I didn’t think to read the packet, big mistake. The recipe has been changed to include rehydrated plant protein and just 55% of the burger is beef, they are awful & will no longer be on my shopping list. Fortunately in looking for an alternative to what was once a family favourite, I found a certain supermarket that prides itself on high standards of animal welfare sells a box of 4 quarter pounder beef burgers containing 85% beef for a cheaper price than the beef plant hybrids now sold by Birds Eye.

Birds Eye chunky fish fingers wow how…
Birds Eye chunky fish fingers wow how foul are they one bit and all your left with is the taste of mould both my husband and I were appalled by them, straight in the bin and a complaint to Birds Eye Don’t buy they are disgusting , an hour and I still have the rank taste in my mouth and that was just one bite. Put me off for life 🤮
Birds Eye Chicken Dippers
I purchased a bag of Birds Eye Chicken Dippers, thinking that they would be good as a quick snack but OMG, they tasted absolutely awful. I can only assume that the very fatty coating overpowers the taste of the chicken. This is something that will never again grace my shopping basket!

Shame I can’t give a zero star what a waste of money horrendous taste please go back to original recipe
Birds Eye quarter pounders with pea…
Birds Eye quarter pounders with pea protein. Absolutely awful, the texture and taste was a massive disappointment and will definitely not be buying again. I cannot believe that I prefer a shop's own brand to this, but I definitely do. Rubbish.
Birdseye Burgers with plan protein
Birdseye Burgers with plant protein should all be recalled!
Two bites in and within 5 mins i was running to the toilet squirting a like bottle of ketchup!
And before you say i undercooked.. NO as i cooked thoroughly. Recall this product
Beef Burgers with Plant Protein and…
Beef Burgers with Plant Protein and Onion. Are you serious. A Birds Eye beef burger has always been a little bit of a guilty pleasure. Occasional instead of a more expensive quality brand or homemade. I had a fancy for one the other day so scoured my local supermarkets only to find “Beef Burgers with Plant Protein and Onion” . Left with no other option I bought them. I ate one and binned the rest. Disgusting. Please go back to the original recipe and get rid of all the plant protein nonsense. Whoever came up with idea should be shot .
Plant Based food full animals!
Picked up a pack of their 'Plant Based' burgers only to find the next day when I went to cook them that they have egg and cheese in them! This isn't Plant Based food at all. Don't label your product plant based if it has animal product in it.
Birds eye plant based quarter pounders
Just brought the plant based birds eye quarter pounders at tesco ,they are tasteless and won't ever buy them again ,there was no other option in tesco so will get elsewhere
Crazy long cooking time
Short crust chicken pies taking 1hour 15 minutes instead of 30-35minutes estimated on the packet. Sort your stuff out!
Cooked a mince beef&ale potato pie&bit…
Cooked a mince beef&ale potato pie&bit down on something that cracked my tooth&its a piece of plastic about size of a tooth, utterly disgusting&very very dangerous, what would of happened if I swallowed it, I have pic of it
Cod in batter eew
Cod in batter. Poor quality fish it was grey looking and looked uncooked even though I left it in the oven 15 mins longer than recommended. Also yhe batter was twice as thick as the fish inside. Aldis is much better
Frozen Fish Fingers inedible
The fish in this product was truly disgusting. It stank to high heaven and was a gelatinous gristly lump which I could not cut through even with my sharpest knife. All 6 went straight into the bin and the other packet I'd bought was removed from my freezer and swiftly joined them.
I hadn't had a birds eye fish finger since I was a kid and my memory was that they were always good and tasty.
No longer it seems, judging by the recent reviews below which seem to echo a similar experience to mine.
I'm very interested to note that Birds Eye do not comment on their reviews here, but if by some chance they are reading this I would advise them to check their quality control and, by the way, I'd like my money back
