Cdate is the biggest scam ive came across till now. Not only was i scammed into a premium membership, i was then contacted via email in May regarding outstanding debts due to not paying membership fees. I payed this “debt” and months later (last week) they have sent me a near identical email saying that i owe them “debts” for triggering an automatic renewal, that took place on the same date as what the original email that i received in May had stated. I have proof of payment and even received confirmation saying payment was received. I stated this on emails to customer care on multiple occasions and i only received a computer generated response. In the latest email they have stated to me 2 new dates which come as a complete surprise to me and claim that “payment had been reversed”. So in summary, they scam you into a premium membership, they make it nearly impossible to end this membership, they then send bogus pay requests for “debts” and dont clarify properly the reason for these “debts”, and on top of all of that you are speaking to a bot in customer support.

Absolute scam, i paid for a subscription not even sure when. I deleted my account. I have just received a letter stating that I owe £300 to a debt collection agency. What a load of rubbish. I deleted my account. I will not be paying this. Total scam. If needs be I will seek legal advice.

C date is a scam and I have reported diligently. I have proof of x2 emails I sent to thier no good scam customer care to cancel my trial but they ignored and been sending me emails to say I owe. I encourage everyone to ignore thier threats as they are a toothless dog. Am ready to go to court and will seek the best solicitors to put an end to their madness.

Complete and utter scam. You only need to read all the below comments. I have taken screenshots of all the comments for legal reasons. I highly recommend others do the same as well. Their so called legal threats hold no grounds to collect money from people. This is clearly a website that is under fraud investigation, where the owners will be prosecuted at some point. Hopefully arrested at that. Twice I filled out their customer service forms to cancel my subscription, since the cancel subscription is disabled. I even ran multiple webpage searches for “cancel”, both on a PC and on my phone. As they said it’s at the bottom. It was not at the bottom or anywhere…not once did they reply to my customer service forms to help me cancel or even try to cancel it. The only email I have received is a laughable “debt collection” one plus fees. You failed to support many people to cancel and give multiple options to do so, with clear guidance. There should be an easy way for people to cancel. You have no legal obligation to send debt collection emails/letters because of this. The amount of complaints support this. If anything, you should be paying back the people you have taken money from for preventing then from cancelling!

Luckily I didn't subscribe. But I noticed I was getting loads & loads of messages. But when I click on the link it says "Deleted user". I mean maybe once in a blue moon but honestly its clearly a scam to get you to subscribe. So don't do it.

Shocking site id avoid at all costs im not convinced people are on there are real and it seems to be the same faces the whole time and never local to me and the price they say isn't the price the charge the cancellation process is a nightmare avoid at all cost scam website

They advertize 14.99/month with a little * next to the number.

The * turned out to be a weekly charge!
So you get charged 4 times.
Clearly a deceptive practice.
On the payment page, they almost hide from you the total amount, so once you fill up your informations and click "next" you expect a checkout page where you see all the numbers, summarized.
NOPE!
So they charged me 59.96 euro.
Once I saw that I immediately tried to cancel the subscription and dispute it.
THEY MAKE IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION!
You have to go through all the menus, left and right, up and down, literally wondering where the cancellation link is. There's no mebt2of that on the main menu. Nope, they are scammers!
Fraudulent practice at least.
I wrote a letter of complaint to the Italian Consumer Association.
You should get banned from operate your con business.

Terrible site. Hardly any members and most are scammers. Trying to cancel subscription but this is turning into a nightmare as nowhere can I find the link. I would say that if there is one it is intentially difficult to find.

Terrible website-not worth the effort.
Tried using the website but later found out that it's just bad with barely any users nearby and majority accounts look like they are bots or pretending to be who they are.

The worst part was trying to cancel. It's very hard to find and if you don't cancel the right way then they threaten legal action to force some more money out of you.

Total ripp off. Thank goodness for my bank, I thought I would try it and went for 6 months as best deal at 7.99 or could of been 9 months sorry forgot anyway pressed pay but didn't go through as my bank stopped it when I checked on my bank app it turned it down because they tried to take £197 WTF. It's a scam don't waste your money.

Absolute Scam!!!!! Handed in my email resignation right after the sign up and the first booking (I have proof of my email resignation). So far, one year later bookings are still happening. This is a big scam and i will look into enforcing law consequences.

This is a terrible site considering you are meant to.put ypu details and l8cati9ns details in all I generally got was matches in Belfast and Scotland 450/800 miles away, I complained but they insisted on only taking my cancelationn as per tjier conditions so had another 6 months to run if you want my advice if you are going to try it pay on credit card when ypu find out how dab it is and how unfit for purpose they will not be able to stop you cancelling a real shower of s##t stay away JUST LOOK AT THE REVIEWS ... CAN EVERONE BE WRONG ?????.

Same problem with originally opening a profile to check out c-date for a month with no mention of re occurring £39 90 payments for a premium subscription after the month that i didn't want, didnt need, never subscribed to and even if I had it would not be worth that amount.

This is the worst dating app, scammers, PLEASE AVOID USING THIS APP.
after 24 hours of use, after purchasing the premium membership for a month costing £9. I realised it’s all 100% scam, all fake profiles.
After few days I tried to cancel my premium membership, what a nightmare that is. After contacting admin, I managed to find the cancelation form on their website, which I filled and submitted. Got a confirmation that my cancelation membership is pending.
Month gone, I got a £40 charge for a service I haven’t used. On top of that they’re threating me to use a debt collectors if I don’t pay the £40.
I’m not going to be intimidated by scammers and robbers, I know what you’re doing and you know what you’re doing. I’ll be seeking legal advice and will be happy to take matters to court.
Forgive me for being naive to use your poor dating service to find love, but that does not give you the right to scam me and rob my hard earned money.

UPDATE
C-Date obviously lying about receiving my cancellation form late, I’ve submitted the form on the 10th of February. Scammers, no wonder they didn’t want to process it or ignored it, so account can automatically renew and if you don’t pay they threaten you with the debt collectors.

total fraud, do not fall for these cheap tricks for people who are missing something. First, the price for the services is falsely stated, for example, it says that the conditional premium costs 10 dollars, and when paying, 100 or even more is charged. Second, the impossibility of returning your funds and fake accounts.
Be smart and do not waste your time on this dog shit.

Now having letters off some debt collection agency abroad because it’s impossible to cancel your subscription so I cancelled it with my bank. They say I owe them a month subscription fee. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
