Worst experience , after cancelation , still getting money from account. Can’t contact anybody because it’s cancelled. Will get in touch with my bank and will find legal advice to get the stolen money back. Fingers away from that scam !!!!!!

If I could zero stars I would. Worst mistake I ever made.

Emailed their support team,with a word document as requested ,no reply and still taking £39 from my bank.

Avoid this site as its full of fake profiles and hardly anyone replies.

I will be seeking legal advice on this,as ive done all they requested.

Currently going through a dispute with them on PayPal. I tried cancelling my subscription the same day I joined that site. I emailed them over 3 days and got the same generic reply. I tried to cancel through the site but it was saying there was an error so I emailed them regarding that and still had the same automated reply.
They only contacted me once PayPal got involved. They said that they hadn’t understood the wording in my email. That it wasn’t clear that I wanted to cancel. Even though I used “cancel my subscription”.
No I have to send a billing agreement to PayPal which I have no idea where to get that from.
I hope this site gets shut down. They are obviously scammers. Also, they say it’s £9.61 a month but then take that and an extra £39.90!!!

Signed up and became a member 9/7/24. Paid for a short subscription and after reading some of the reviews I immediately tried to cancel my subscription. No sign of any way on their site to do so. Emma or Noel we need to get in touch as I will not be going through further renewals/payments/debt collections ect and I make that very clear and will continue to do so until this is resolved!! So you best get in touch so this can get resolved asap. I'm a lawyer for a huge firm in the UK with plenty of connections and I will happily take this further.

Last year tried it, started a sub at offer rates. Wasnt as advertised. All fake profiles and asked to cancel next day with no reply. 2 months later they still taking money when bank flagged it up. Finally got a cancellation. 1 year later now getting T&D Rechtsanwälte GbRto try to get money fpr missed subscription. Cancellation mean its stopped. Will not be paying especially when the email correspondence can't even get my name right

My experience with C-Date has been frustrating and stressful; despite following their cancellation procedures, I continue to receive billing notices and threats from legal advisors demanding £303.85, which I firmly believe is unjust and constitutes deceptive business practices.This is pure cheating and not gonna pay a single penny ilu have already debited from my account.

C date have collected money from my bank account fraudulently.
I have sent few emails asking for my money back and i have tried several ways to cancel my membership but they have made it very hard to cancel memberships.
Can't find their so called Cancellation Form anywhere .

It’s a scam … take money from your account even if you let them know you want to cancel your subscription!

When you're running a service business and If you get over one thousand reviews complaining about the same issue, what would you do? Of course, you will immediately try to eliminate the issue. Otherwise it will affect your reputation badly.

Here C-date has got similar complaints from 100s of users e.g. they are charging unjustly or tricking the users so they can charge without providing any service. Has Cdate tried to improve their service and change their payment method? Or has it even try to make its cancellation button is to be found? Or have they made any effort to change their webpage and write clear instructions which are easily readable? Have they tried anything so that people don't feel cheated? Answer is big No.

They do no want to improve their business. Becuase tricking people into paying more and threatening them to charge... itself is their business. Their focus is not at all on reducing number of bad reviews. Infact, number of bad reviews reflect their success. Success in cheating lot of people.

Scam - Tried to use my legal right of withdrawal from the contract, but C-date or more correctly the company behind this service (Interdate S.A. in Luxemburg) just doesn’t respond to any emails. They promise 2-3 days for their support to respond and while I understand that it sometimes can take a little longer, now it has been 3 weeks and still NO word from them. Scam site

There dirty scammers send you pointless letter I think they belive they’re a little intimidating I’d love to come across the owner of this company in the street. They must be desperate for some English money 🤣🤣 looks like they’re struggling. Send me another letter come on I’m enjoying wasting your money and time

They sent me a bill from a lawyer asking for £300 because I didn't cancel the account properly, I showed them the previous trustpilot entry I did, they quashed it again yesterday, now today they're asking me for proof they sent it writing off.
Wanting to check if I had 2 accounts, why would I have 2 accounts, it's the worst site I've ever been on, sending me a letter from a solicitor demanding the money or they'll take it further.
What are they on!?

Horrendous site. Went on the site last year. Only paid for a short subscription but after a while they then took money for 6 months which was over £100. When it came to cancel I looked everywhere on the site to try and cancel and the only thing I could find was a note saying I had to fax them to cancel. Fax!! No-one has a fax these days so I left it. Now I’m getting letters and emails from some German ‘solicitors’ saying I owe over £500.
The site is garbage anyway. Every woman on there is fake. You chat for a bit and discuss meeting up and funnily enough they all pull out. Not one woman could tell me anything about their home town too and the wording they use is all the same. Total fake.

Wow, I thought I was the only person that was saying just how bad this company are.
Unfortunately I became a premium member on 10th Sept 2023. I paid half price £19.90 and received a confirmation email from c-date to say this is what happened and I was now able to use the member services.

I wasn't happy with the site so decided to cancel well before the renewal on 10th October 2023. Like most people on here I tried using c-dates cancellation process (ie the button) without success. I tried this on several occasions ending up with me receiving an email from c-date saying the more requests they receive the longer it takes to deal with. So again like a lot of people on here I sent direct emails to cancel but without success. However, I never heard from c-date again so assumed that they must have finally cancelled my membership.

That was until I received a letter at the end of May 2024 from a German Debt Collection Agency acting on behalf of C-date saying that my September 2023 subscription was unpaid and that I now owed £305.85
Even though I have sent proof of paying the September 2023 membership and c-date are aware of me trying to cancel the October 2023 renewal I am still being told to pay the outstanding amount otherwise further costs will be added. I am extremely glad that I have looked at these reviews before secumbing to the pressure and making payment. I will be following your advice and contacting various agencies in the UK including the Police. My registered email is available on request. I shall be starting the process of contacting various UK agencies and the Police tomorrow. I'm guessing they will already be aware of C-date and I will follow their advice.

Couldn`t find cancellation button on site, sent email to customer services they told me its location on home page. IMPORTANT this must be done 14 days before date of payment renewal. Once cancellation is complete they`ll send you email stating it is cancelled. IMPORTANT Keep this email. As for C-date poor, lots of silly question, once again save your money, but if your on C-date good luck, you`ll need it!

Don't sign up!! I was underage a no checks where taken when I signed up and they started taking money! when I noticed after a while the payment was still going out, I contacted my bank and they stopped the transaction, I received a number of emails over a couple of months saying I had money to pay for a service I didn't use! today I received a letter saying I owed them £304.52, I will be pursuing this with the debt collectors themselves and I'm hoping they can see the issue at hand and sort this out.

C- Date are a bunch of scammers stay away from this site. tried to cancel my subscription nearly impossible to find how to do it.
now a few months later I have had an letter from a lawyers firm in Germany demanding money £423.06
any advice from other people who have been affected by these people.
