Fortunately/unfortunately this business seems to have gone into administration. All for the better imo. Early May I ordered a very special expensive for us, £75.99 60th birthday cake to be delivered a few days before 28 May birthday. Spoke with very nice person from CND day after ordering. All was well until 25 May but no word whatsoever. Started to panic so I tried to contact them but number was no longer working. Tried website too and email addy but no longer avail. So no cake, no refund, no explanation. Put in dispute with my payment source, PP but they heard nothing back either. Even they only gave me a partial refund. Still chasing that one up. Fortunately found another excellent cake delivery service last minute. Chalk it up to a bad experience I say. If they haven't already the odds are they're probably operating under another name as I found other services associated with same owner. It's a shame such shoddy business services can get away with taking people's hard earned money and not deliver what's expected with very little repercussions. Especially in this economy.

Ordered a cake for my daughter who is allergic to eggs and dairy. Cake not package properly and ruined in transit. No apology, no refund, no help offered.

Ordered a cake for my step daughter’s birthday. When it arrived it was nothing like the picture. Sparsely decorated and actually broken. Very poor, I don’t know who made this cake, but it seemed rushed and no aptitude to the task was visible.
They refuse to refund our money, saying that as we did not tell the courier immediately that it was substandard, we had “accepted” it.
DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THESE RIP OFF MERCHANTS. STEER WELL CLEAR.

So bad … DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !!! Ordered a special birthday cake … came next day … The cake was disappointing not at all like the picture and definitely not worth £100

I ordered the sugar rush cake for £109.00 as a special birthday cake for my daughter. WOW WOW WOW AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY!
When it arrived the icing was ripped, the biscuits broken, the flowers half the quantity and small, flowers missing, biscuits missing, zero strawberries, zero jammie dodgers, nothing dipped in chocolate basically nothing like the image.
I had the cake delivered to my business and as soon as I opened the box I was absolutely shocked. I called the company who offered me a small amount off for the missing decorations but as it had been accepted - in their words they would not accept it being returned.
This cake is shocking, my 8 year old grandchild could produce better! I have been robbed!
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS CAKE PROVIDER, THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS NOT THERE. THE WOMAN ON THE PHONE LOOKED AT THE IMAGES AND AGREED WITH ME THAT IT WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND IT WAS APPALLING

Absolutely delighted with the cake I ordered for my Mum's birthday. It was delicious and she was really impressed. So a big win all around.

Unfortunately the cake was not as the picture when I ordered. Also it was a bunny cake and the ears arrived broken and marked with the wrapping paper therefore I wont be able to use them.

Such a waste of money paid £70 for hating the cake of my daughters first birthday

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM !!! DONT ORDER !!!

I ordered a cake for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday, three days before the date. After the initial order invoice came through I received a phonecall to confirm the details.

No cake arrived on the day, so I rang them to complain,the number was re-directed, I was then told that no refund would be given. I had to email through to complaints which I did. Still no reply, STILL NO CAKE.

Reading these reviews it seeme we have all been scammed.

This is the worst service I have ever gotten. I ordered for a birthday cake for my partner and choose a delivery date which was a day earlier. The cake never got to me on the delivery date or on his birthday. When I called I was diverted and asked to send a mail to a customer experience team that never responded. I have asked for a refund and it is taking a week to process and I still haven't got my money back. I feel like I have been scammed. Their communication system is horrible as customers are kept in the dark. I want my money back as I will never use you guys or refer a friend.

I placed an order for a birthday cake for my daughter and the entire experience has been an absolutely nightmare!

First the customer service agent called me 4 times to “verify” details that I’d already put on the order, such as phone, and address, picture of my daughter etc. She asked me for phone 2 times even though she was calling me ON MY PHONE! Then when I was put off from the excessive number of calls I tried to cancel the order within 30mins of placing it, but the agent informed me it was not possible!!! That was aggressively customer unfriendly, and basically I was blackmailed into keeping the order.

Finally cake arrives, it looks nothing like the pictures online AND IT IS MISSING THE HAPPY BIRTHDAY MESSAGE!!! To top it all off, the complaints manager called me at 9:40pm AT NIGHT, to try and talk to me, which is totally outside any acceptable customer service call times.

NEVER ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN!

Please avoid. They are a fraudulent company and you will not receive your cake, they will not give you a refund either. All good reviews you see are from employees and are fake.

OK so I'm gutted to see the reviews after I'd already spent £60.

Firstly let's talk about the aggressive marketing whilst waiting on the "checkout" page I got a phone call from the company asking me what the issue was and do I need help placing an order. I advised them there was no issue I was waiting to confirm details before ordering. I was asked "what details are you waiting for" in a somewhat questionable tone which started some alarm bells. Regardless I wanted a cake for my parents anniversary and so ordered one. Like others have stated I got a call after booking asking confirming details then trying to upsell me a bigger cake which I declined, I was then told the cake would arrive on the date I had requested between 8am and 8pm.
I was already a little suspicious of them after the two conversations I had experienced, which was with the same person(I had initially thought it was a call centre scam by the sound of the person). I was a little concerned when I heard about the delivery times but was optimistic the delivery will likely be early enough to join flowers I had ordered elsewhere.
Day of the delivery I receive a txt in the morning (8:20am) telling me the order will be delivered between 8am(already past) and 10pm(now 2 hours later than originally told). The txt also stated that I "would receive a txt message from the driver 15mins before delivery". By 6:30pm the order had not arrived and this is when I checked trustpilot, and also contacted the company via the site live chat function asking for the latest on my order as it is getting later in the day and still no cake. I did receive a prompt response however vague "it will be delivered before 8pm" and with that the chat was "ended" by them.
I got a txt message that my order was next on delivery at 7:13pm and then it arrived about 7:40pm and so they did indeed deliver before 8pm.
Day is already gone and parents don't want to eat anything so it will be tasted tomorrow.

The only positives is that it was delivered on the day I requested, in the (long)time window they advised and the cake looks as sold. I'll give them 2 out of 5 as they met the criteria though I'm not a happy customer.

This firm about any issue or complaint about my damaged and shabby goods received , today we received an email from them asking if we’d like to order a Halloween cake ! No thanks and has promoted me to report them to Trading Standards as per previous reviews - the only way to hopefully stop them scamming even more people out of well earned money - can’t reiterate enough please don’t waste your money .

Kinda odd that I got my wife's birthday cake here, was thinking this is worthy of a review, then noticed loads of negative reviews. I can only share my experience.

Have never ordered cake online, thought I'd give it a go and these people were the only ones who had a Raffaello cake. We paid the £15 to get an 8 inch not 6 inch cake, whole cost about £58.00

Ordered for it to arrive 2 days before the birthday, to be safe, and expectation was a dried out cake in truth.

Arrived on time, really impressed with the way packed - they use a polystyrene box, then create an inner frame and slot cooler bags outside of it that keep the cake cool. That may be usual but we were quite impressed.

Cake was delicious and moist. So, in my case a very good experience.

My husband bought a cake for my 60th birthday.
It did come the next day , but it wasnt the cake my husband ordered. It had a different name on it , different colour and wrong cake. He rang and told them that he had received the wrong cake.
They did say they would send another one out. They then rang a few hours later to tell my husband that they wont replace the cake and just to take the name off and it will do. We could not believe he was saying this. No apology. Its disgusting to know this company are treating their customers like this . We will never buy from these again. My husband is very upset . Stay away from this company.

I am an NHS nurse and ordered a birthday cake as I was too busy to bake one.
The cake arrived the next door and looked awful and tasted vile.
I have contacted the company who have not returned my emails.
I have contacted rip off Britain.
It cost £55. I had to work very hard to Pay for it. Not happy.

It dosent even deserve 1,star , this was sent us a surprise for my birthday, only ft for the birds, and flavourless..disgusting packaging a joke .lots of crumbs loose in large box.
