Fortunately/unfortunately this business seems to have gone into administration. All for the better imo. Early May I ordered a very special expensive for us, £75.99 60th birthday cake to be delivered... See more

Worst place to ever buy cake, pls don't buy your cake here
This is so bad, it looks like a cake I would make, coz the picture of the cake is different from the cake delivered to me. Its so unprofessional and stupid. The cake isn't neat at all and very small. The fondant was just poured on it stupidly.
Average
The cake was delivered on time and I don’t feel it was poor value however could have been slightly better packaged as it had slipped from the base. I ordered another cake from a similar company and you could see the difference in packaging. They both used the same courier. My main issue with the cake was the decorations were all faded and looked old (I think this is due to the freezing of the cake). We had an m&m one and they were pale and looked unappealing which was a real shame as the rest of the cake was fine and my daughter enjoyed the taste.
Absolutely rubbish
Absolutely rubbish, not at all what was ordered and no satisfaction trying to contact them, the picture looks lovely but my son could have decorated it better!!!!
I have been using these for around…
I have been using these for around about 6 years and I have never had a problem until now. I ordered a cake which was meant to come 2 days ago but I still haven't received it. I have phoned, messaged them on their website and on facebook but they still haven't got back to me. Be careful everyone I think they must been having some issues but they're still taking your money.
Wholly unsatisfied
The cake I ordered never got delivered and the company could not be contacted by any medium but they still took my £59. I would not use them and they have been reported to the Police Fraud Office. I would give them zero stars if I could.
Ordered a cake for my Autistic grandson…
Ordered a cake for my Autistic grandson in plenty of time
Money got refunded into my bank account without even an email to explain why
I understand we are in strange time but do not take orders unless you can honour them
Awful awful service
Never use this company
PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU…
PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU THINK THAT THERE IS THE SLIGHTEST CHANCE YOU MIGHT HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER AS YOU WILL NOT GET ALL OF YOUR MONEY BACK.
I ordered a cake about 8 weeks before I needed it for my daughters birthday. Unfortunatley she decided about 4 weeks before that she didn't want the party anymore and so I had to cancel the cake as it would hae been too big for just family - no problem, you can cancel - but they retain 20% of the order to cover admin and credit card charges! I questioned this as from the beginning of 2018, customers are not supposed to be charged for using their credit card and my card company confirmed London cakes had not been charged anything themselves. I responded to London cakes with this information and they agreed to just charge me 15% for admin costs - still a lot in my opinion, especially as they hadn't even made the cake yet - but theyv'e set this out in t&c's (which admittedly I hadn't read as I didn't consider that I would have to cancel)
After emailing them twice to confirm the amount to be refunded, I had a response with the refunded amount. This amount was different from what I calcuated it to be. Again I questioned this, and I was told that they actually charge the fees on the total amount of the order - i.e the cake AND THE DELIVERY FEES - even though delivery has not been carried out! They also don't make this clear in the t&c's.
I feel this is completely unreasonable and unnacceptable, and I certailnly won't be using this company in future, as if you have a situation where you have no choice but to cancel, then don't count on getting your money back.
Insidentally, if you cancel between 3 and 7 days before delivery you will be charged a whopping 50%! If you cancel within an hour of ordering you will still be charged £7! And im sure they will still claim this to be for "credit card charges" which customers do not pay now.
