First time using Call Assist. Was impressed that l was able to speak to someone, did have to ignore the "we can do it all through the text " A different service to the AA and RAC. Not sure if l was lucky but from call to service truck arriving was all done within about an hour and a half. About an hour later I got a from Call assist to check I was back on the road. That never happened with AA or RAC. So a refreshing change.

I recently had to call Start Rescue (Call Assist) when my car broke down, and I was really impressed with their service. From the moment I called, the team kept me updated regularly, calling every 15 minutes to make sure I was safe. Although the wait for the recovery vehicle took a bit longer than expected due to rush hour traffic, I was kept fully informed throughout.

The recovery driver was professional, respectful, and ensured I got home safely when my local garage was closed. When I later called to arrange recovery to my local garage (which is in quite a tricky spot), there was no hesitation — the team followed the garage’s instructions carefully and made sure my car was delivered safely.

Every interaction with Start Rescue was professional and courteous. While I personally didn’t need the frequent update calls, I can see how others might find them very reassuring. Overall, a really positive experience — thank you to the whole team for their excellent service and support.

I didn't have to wait that long. They rang at regular intervals whilst I was waiting to check I was ok.
The driver was kind enough to go a little out of the way to find me a toilet and was SO nice and chatty .

Being old I failed miserably with the technology (Where are the Grandchildren when you need them?) However my call was answered by a lovely lady who was both helpful and patient and sorted everything. I couldn’t have wished for better service. Help arrived and again the service was brilliant and the driver so kind. Much appreciated when of advancing years!

Really easy, I logged my issue on the app and was at home so they said they would be with me within 2 hours and then 10 mins later I got a text to say they be there in 15 mins. He was so helpful and got me started and also gave me advice with the garage and what to ask. Absolutely thrilled with the service, thank you

Had a puncture but was unable to remove the alloy wheel due to the wheel being 'welded by corrosion' to the hub. I filled in the app and was given an ETA however the technician arrived within 10 minutes and after 15 minutes of some heavy hammering the wheel was off and replaced but not before grease had been applied to the hub to prevent a repeat issue. I have since removed the other 3 wheels and applied grease to the hubs, as advised by the recovery technician

The app is easy to use and there is rapid information about the rescue. Ravenscroft rescue responded very quickly and resolved the issue. I was very impressed by the speed and service.

Called to report a breakdown. Automated response informed me a text would be sent with a link to request a call out. No text received and no option to speak to anyone. This happened on two occasions, leaving me stranded

Excellent service, good communication, very pleased.

I had a flat battery. The response was almost immediate; an engineer was on-site within 15 minutes and I was on my way immediately thereafter.

Gear box failed, contacted Start Recovery via the app, they contacted my mobile almost immediately, gave me an arrival, one hour. Phoned again after approximately 30 mins to say a further 15 mins delay to be expected. Phoned again to enquire if the mechanic had arrived, as he pulled up.
Mechanic unable to carryout repair, arranged recovery to the appropriate garage.
First time in 15 years or more that I have used any vehicle recovery, VERY IMPRESSED with Start Recovery.

Easy to contact the team, spoke with someone really quickly, they were efficient, reassuring and understanding. Organised a roadside recovery really quickly and through the time kept me updated, really helpful. Excellent service.
