I was dealing solely dealing with sales manager at Sherwood.Nissan.in Edmonton. They told me great truck over at londonderry Chrysler.2019 Ram.110000 kms. Londonderry Chrysler in Edmonton did vehical inspection. ALL IS GREAT.GET TRUCK CAN SMELL OIL BURNING.
BUT CANT FIND NO LEAKS.PUT HEATER ON AND STRONG SMELL OF COOLANT.THAT IS CONSISTANT.
I WAS A FOOL AND TOOK THE SALES MANAGERS WORD.WE GOT INTO ARGUMENT.i told him how I felt. Not that I was going to ever do it..It was explaining how I felt. And he wouldn't let that go saying I threatened him.He knew I was using it in context. So we tried talking again.he goated me saying I'm here implying let's go.And stayed with i threatened him.It a distraction that a crooked sales manager though he would get rid of this truck.to some despret fool far away.Pretty nice thing to do to some one you swear you were honest ABDALLA A ALI

Incredible experience

First off, the service… outstanding. Mena helped me the ENTIRE way through with my vehicle purchase. This was the best vehicle purchasing experience I’ve ever had. My dad had purchased a vehicle from here a few months back, but sadly he passed away. Now his daughter is buying from this company, and I can say I’m beyond happy. I’m crying the happiest tears you can imagine. Not only was the service amazing, but they helped me with my credit rebuilding and they were compassionate and these people have the biggest hearts. Everyone should be purchasing their vehicles here. You guys have gone above and beyond to be an absolutely amazing company, and I’m so happy to have had the pleasure to work with you guys. Thank you for your honesty and support the entire way through. Thanks so much for all your hard work. This company is the definition of ‘team.’ Good job guys!

Sincerely,
Samantha Johnson

You're not your friend....

You're not my friend....
This fellow, apparently my new best friend, wanted to complete a credit application with all the personal details that entails before even confirming that there was inventory of the vehicle type that I'm interested in. Euphemistically... a poor business model!

No Inventory

They want my information and pre approval before even seeing their inventory. What a joke! Terrible business model. I don’t give people my personal information unless I can actually see what I’m buying. Ridiculous!

BEWARE!!! Slimy company

My son went to buy a quad from these guys to start his credit, CD stated he couldn’t qualify because he had no credit, so he needed a co-signer. I co-signed. Soon receiving the documents they switched everything made me the borrower and my son the co-signer. I questioned it because they did not ask my son employment proof nothing it was all info about me but my son is who applied, they kept saying we had to do it that way but once the funding goes through we’ll switch it( I have all documents proving this). So we pick up the quad, gave $1000 cash, received zero paper work. They then tell me I’ll be receiving a call from lend direct their finance company( first time I heard we had to pay 30% interest).to confirm we received the quad….I digress!
After a week no one called but CD drives is contacting me steady to tell me to be near the phone because they don’t get paid unless I confirm we received this quad. Several times CD tells me LD is calling at a certain time, never does. This goes on for 3 weeks, put my life on hold every day waiting for this call. Finally I call LD and they don’t even have us in their system. Don’t know who we are. So I call CD, asking what is going on, they said they’ll call them. I get a call from the finance manager stating not to tell LD anything only answer yes yes yes all is good, I have quad that’s it…like what is this lying about and why shouldn’t I have contacted the people who’s taking payments out of my account.
The so called “finance manager out of edmonton tells me for all the trouble that’s gone on he’ll pay the first few payments if I lie to LD( have audio recording to prove it) as long as they get paid for this quad, so LD direct finally calls me and yes I say all is good I have quad that’s it. I send the proof of all payments coming out in 1 lump sum, the finance manager responds oh I’ll send it Friday or Monday (a week later)we’re moving offices. I contact him this past Monday and asked for the deposit of payments back as promised …. He ghosted me!!! This company is pathetic and slimy, a definite way to show my son how crooked financial institutions are. Lesson learned.
To date monies coming out of my account, and no paperwork to back up this loan.

I got an overpriced car with damages

I got an overpriced car with damages. I bought Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG on CanadaDrives in 2022. I could've bought the same car cheaper offline e, and the car had rusty and damaged wheels. Their extended warranty didn't work as well for the service that was listed as covered. They just told the dealership service that they're overly worried, and the part doesn't need replacement yet, although the official dealership should know better.

Although sales man seemed nice…

Although sales man seemed nice. He kept lying. Said I was approved through td but only had a few hours to commit. (Td doesn’t do that) then tried to set me up with lendcare who has terrible reviews. I asked for contract showing my trade in which he sent contract but nothing that showed my car. He kept telling me to hurry up before I lost the lending. Red Flags galore. They’ve hit my credit 2 times since I told them no. Do your home work.

A different company

Three years ago, I had an excellent experience purchasing a car from Canada Drive. They offered free delivery, great prices, and high-quality vehicles. I was thoroughly satisfied with their service. However, their policies have since changed. Now, you can't directly search for cars; instead, they collect your personal information only to tell you later that you don't meet their criteria. It would be much more efficient if they informed you upfront about the qualifications needed. Additionally, they no longer stock cars themselves but work with dealerships to offload inventory, which is quite different from their previous model. This shift has been disappointing.

I chose to check out Canada drives just…

I chose to check out Canada drives just to seek information a couple years ago. I had found this company online and got my sister who didn’t have great credit at the time to buy a car from them. My sister hasn’t said anything negative about her situation, (not realizing she is paying high interest rate). I had checked it out first for curiosity’s sake myself. Back then, you could get information without sending in your personal information.

Fast forward to recently, I was enquiring about information again and it asked for my personal information up front. Not having an issue with this, I went forward.

Right away, I started receiving calls from dealers trying to reach me. Of course, I would ignore these calls, but now, I’m receiving calls daily, sometimes multiple times a day. I texted one of them back, saying to take me off the call list yesterday which they said they would.

They lied, I just got multiple calls today and spoke to them again. They said I need to text them back with some comment that I ignored as I wanted them to fix the problem instead of making me trying to figure out how to stop these harassing phone calls. We will see what happens next. Stay tuned for an update.

Dishonest poor service

Went through all the requirements they asked for including the mileage in the beginning. This is a 2016 vehicle with 184k. Was sent an offer through email then they advised they were not able to pay that but basically can give you 2k less and are not interested in the snow tires on rims. Poor service and dishonest

Sold my Hyundai to Canada Drives

Sold my Hyundai to Canada Drives, an excellent experience and would recommend them to friends and family.
Found them on line, entered my vehicle VIN and was quickly given an offer.
Spoke to Jeff (great guy) he reviewed a number of points on the vehicle and asked me to send a series of photos, including pointing out any damage to the vehicle. An email arrived shortly after our conversation detailing what they were looking for. Completed the photos,Jeff called me back to review photos and damage, revised the offer down to reflect the damage repairs.
Offer was still acceptable and agreed to sell. Provided Jeff with some documentation and he advised he would get back to me.
Received a docu-sign bill of sale from Sam, completed it and arranged an appointment to drop the car off.
Chris was the technician completing the final inspection which involved a test drive, OBD scan and a visual inspection. Chris found everything in order as I had advised and accepted the vehicle.
Remainder of documentation completed and cash was in my bank account within 12 hours.
An excellent easy process, price was fair for the vehicle and everyone I dealt with was pleasant and up front in explaining the process.
If you are selling your vehicle this is a great option, better than Kijiji or marketplace in you don't have to deal with test drives, certification of the vehicle and just dealing with people trying to buy your car.

Terrible communication

So far I have had nothing but lack of communication thru this process. The person I am talking with I won't put his name on blast, is poor at communicating and telling me what is going on, I have got everything needed and claim waiting on bank.. this is the worst possible experience I have gone thru to get a vehicle. Anywhere else was done the same day,
