Very disappointed with my latest experience with Care of Carl and especially with the way this case was handled by customer service agent Gaby.

My husband and I have always been happy customers, but this situation completely changed our opinion.

I received an empty package and reported it immediately with photos and messages. I also contacted Instabox as instructed and returned the package right away. After more than a month of silence, I was suddenly told that I still have to pay for the missing item.

Instead of taking responsibility or helping a loyal customer, I was made to feel like I was the problem.

This is not even about the 650 DKK anymore. It is about principle, customer service, and how customers are treated when something goes wrong during delivery.

Very frustrating and honestly unacceptable.

I returned a Barbour jacket (it was too short). At no point was I informed that the item was faulty or incomplete, and I had no reason to believe it was (the jacket arrived without any tags attached, only wrapped in plastic with a barcode).

When I returned it, the return was rejected due to a missing label, something that was never included in the original delivery! This is really unfortunate that Care of Carl has the ability to quality-check returns but not outgoing shipments, then placing the responsibility on the customers for not being able to spot any mistake, and rejecting their returns. Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

Like sending out faulty items and then rejecting returns while expecting customers to identify the mistake themselves.
