Great service

Great service. securely locked away. car washed when picked up. Driven to terminal and picked up by uber at Carhood cost. would use them again.
one comment though: Carhood had a record of our return date and time but our car was parked right at the back behind all other cars and we had to wait till they moved numerous cars before getting to ours.
perhaps a bit better organisation of the cars knowing that owners were about to pick up. Not a hard task and system would be more streamlined.
if that had happened I would give 5 stars.

This was the first time I used carhood

This was the first time I used carhood. It made a massive change on how I plan travels from now on. The only bad experience for me wad that, I had to wait for an hour to get picked, and I was waiting in cold windy weather with my two infants.

Sydney rental

Sydney warehouse looks dodgy when you arrive, particularly at night. But easily managed to process rental.
The car ran well with no problems, obviously the lower you pay also reflects on the quality of the car. they had nice cars there that weren't on offer at time of booking.
Only real issue was not giving an option to pay bond on a separate card. However got the money back quickly.
Would utilise again

Great Idea, Convenient Airport Service, Needs More Renters

I have been using Carhood for three years now as a means of dropping my car off at the airport, once or twice a year. The service is great, using Uber for the trip from depot to airport.
The location of the depot suits us and in reality the time for transfer is about 30 mins in each direction which is really 10 minutes more than a conventional off site long term carpark.
It has been difficult to receive income for my car recently, maybe there is not enough awareness or a substantial fan base yet, so mostly my car is exactly as I left it, no kms and of course not washed.
I wish you well, hopefully next time, someone will rent my car!

Easy & Convenient

Good concept, easy to book. Understand that we are renting private cars owned by individuals but Car Hood should mandate that they are kept in good condition inside and out. The car I rented had a few dents all around and felt that it wasn't serviced in a while.

Great idea, could work on customer service

The idea behind carhood is great.
Unfortunately I had to drive my baby with me to the drop off, which meant my car seat and baby viewing mirror were still in the car. Carhood removed the mirror with such force that the fastening strap completely snapped, and they wouldn’t cover this under their insurance. If I had known they’d remove the mirror, I would have done it myself (I assumed they would just rent to a family with kids that needed the seat & mirror).
I am on the fence as to whether I will use this service again.

Easy process, professional service

My car is not rented out but the whole process of dropping and collecting car is easy and flawless.

The staff is very kind to offer me an UBER car when I missed the shuttle on drop off.

It was a nice experiences with carhood

It was a nice experiences with carhood. Staff is friendly and I got my car back in one piece. Interior clean was spotless and but body wash was not up to standard (but can't complain). I parked my car for 3 weeks for free and it was driven by some one for 8 days (450km). Getting $72 back.
