Scam or ??

Despite trying to make multiple efforts to get it sorted, answer from customer service , “ our team doesnot work in morning they start from 1 pm” other day we can see some documents is required but we dont know what it is but some thjng is required and we dont know when will they resolve the issue 😂😂 seriously

bitter experience with Cashplus bank

I would like to share my bitter experience with Cashplus Bank.
At precisely 11:46 PM on May 23, 2024, I received a message from the bank informing me that my business account had been blocked. No explanation was given, and they only requested a copy of my passport or ID along with two proofs of my residential address.
On the morning of May 24, 2024, I uploaded all the required documents. Despite this, my account remained blocked up until today, June 8, 2024. I have contacted the bank via phone more than three times and via email over four times, all to no avail.
It is important to note that my account is a small business account that I had established three months prior. Due to this blockage, I have suffered significant losses as I was unable to continue my business activities.
Therefore, based on my current experience, I strongly advise anyone with a business to avoid this bank. It can cause substantial losses to fledgling businesses, as evidenced by my experience.

Don't trust these cowboys with your hard earned money.

If I could give Cashplus zero stars I would. I have had an account with them for 10 years with no issues but now they're becoming 'Zemplar bank' they have become an absolute nightmare. A couple of months ago my husband set up a new account as I was leaving our business and wanted to close my Cashplus account . His account was blocked for no reason just a week after opening and despite sending them everything they'd asked for they continued to reopen then block again. Now here's the clincher, because he'd transferred me money (before the total block), to cover a DD that hadn't yet transferred, MY account was then also blocked as a result of him transferring me funds. So by dealing with Cashplus, you're not only putting your own business at risk but also the businesses of any Cashplus account holder you may be dealing with professionally. In the weeks that have passed, my husband has opened an account with Anna bank (who he thinks are brilliant by the way) and I have received confirmation that my Cashplus account will be closed. However, I sent Cashplus my bank details two weeks ago to transfer remaining funds which they still haven't sent. They're basically holding onto my money without my consent. Please take note of the terrible reviews before considering an account with these jokers, what appears to be a simple process can soon turn into a nightmare.

Looks like Cashplus is withholding…

Looks like Cashplus is withholding millions of pounds from Customers by refusing to let them access their funds. Put in a small claims court immediately then once they respond, if judgement is made against them you can submit a winding up petition for like £100 which would force the company into liquidation

Worst Bank and its Customer Service

Dealing with this bank has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had. Shortly after updating my business account address with Cashplus, they unexpectedly blocked my account. Upon reaching out to them, they claimed to have sent an email requesting two proofs of my new address, which I never received. Despite promptly submitting proof of address, when I followed up three days later, they informed me that the documents were rejected because they required proof of my home address. Surprisingly, they never communicated this requirement via email or phone. Their customer service is lacking, with insufficient accessibility and a reluctance among managers to address disgruntled customers directly.

My experience with Cash Plus Bank was nothing short of disastrous. Without any prior warning, they froze my business account, leaving me unable to make payments or conduct financial transactions. I'm unable to pay bills or fulfill business needs due to their appalling neglect of customers. Do not open an account with them unless you're prepared to face frustration and unjustified delays.
"In addition, their customer service is utterly unhelpful. I've provided them with all the requested information after contacting them even though all the documents they requested was provided on the opening of the account but the account still frozen for no reason or justification.

STAY AWAY NO COMMUNICATION RESTRICTED MY ACCOUNT AND DID NOT EVEN TELL ME…

Total disgrace I was doing my weekly food shop got to the till and my bank card was rejected total embarrassment in the shop. So I have to leave with no food and contact the customer services.
They was as much use as a chocolate fire guard talk about passing the blame and taking no responsibility “sorry but it’s not my department who deal with this and we are unable to give you any information at all to why we have blocked your account, just that it’s under review and they will be in touch when ever they decide to finish the review no time of when this will be available”.
They never even contacted me by email, text or phone to let me know they had decided to restrict my account I had to find out whilst in a massive queue in Asda when my card got declined!!! The customer service person kindly advised my that they do not have to advise me that they have done this as per the 1000000 page terms and conditions that I signed i mean who the hell really reads that.
Anyways totally of track the point is my only bank that I have is with cash plus and it’s got my money in it and I’ve got other payment’s due to go in. How am I supposed to live to eat to pay bills with out my bank account it’s a disgrace that they don’t even have the common courtesy to even call me to let me know what’s happening this is such a massive thing to do to someone when they rely on it sir everything. If looking to get a bank then please think twice about cashplus been with them 3 years and never had any issues really thought they was the best bank ever even recommended to my family. But I am disgusted with this it’s left me in such a mess with no warning that it had happened and they can’t even tell me when it’s going to be sorted.
Hopefully cash plus will read this and give me some info but will prob be a bot.

Total mess from the start

Total mess from the start, I can't begin to say how bad this company is, they will freeze your account months into being a customer pending identification verification then your in a loop trying to send docs, then an email saying if you don't send them by a certain date the account will be closed, i called 5 weeks before the deadline but they have already closed it and they hung up,

I sent registered letter with proof of Identity sent 4 emails, called few times. And your answer is always the same...

Never open an account with this quasi bank

Never open an account with this quasi bank. Especially Never open a business account as they block your account for some stupid reasons with no consideration of your business. It has damaged my business. No warning, no notification, no request for information in advance is given and they block your account. For example, you provide all the information to them and they accept your documents but after 6months with no warning you notice the account is blocked again. You have no choice to contact them to see what has happened and realize you need to send the same documents again. Then you may think it is ok now after a while again the same issue. I had to send several times the same documents which were rejected but accepted at the end. During this time on one occasion my account was blocked for 2 months. This incurred a loss of several hundreds pound on my business as well as the stress damage to my health.

Here is the response from Trustpilot removing my review of cash plus they will keep doing this

Question WHY IS THERE 2 REVIEW STATUSES OF CASHPLUS ONE AMAZING AND THE OTHER HORRENDOUS ????

This is just typical of Cashplus

They have over 137 reported bad reviews removed from trust pilot it’s a shame that Trustpilot cannot see the imerging pattern in the complaints that are made against this company and uphold the reviews.

I have very little correspondence from Cashplus as they are impossible to contact and reply with generic emails

You cannot get any information from their customer service numbers either.

So if you want to remove my reviews go ahead, there will be another 20 people behind me putting bad reviews about this bank on.

I understand that you are not a dispute resolution site but by the nature of your name TRUSTPILOT you should really look at how you make the decision over what reviews are removed,especially when they are clearly genuine, why would I lie they nearly cost me my very good business and the jobs of 20 staff through their horrendous practices

Sorry Trustpilot it seems you can’t be trusted either

Daylight robbery it can’t be legal

30 days with my details they asked still no funds back in my bank now with a legal team seeking compensation. Scam of a bank Please stay clear, have held my finances for over 9 weeks said it’s a business decision have sent them 4 lots of proof of address 2 lots of identification my bank statements in full my summary, still no sign of returning it they just find an excuse to decline so They can try and prolong keeping your funds. This is happening daily with people it seems. They have no excuse not to return my money they are just choosing not to. I can’t work out how they are getting away with it so have now no Option but to seek legal advice. Caked with my solicitor and was told on record the money would be returned within 30 days this was 34 days ago. All recorded

THIEFS & SCAMMERS

Thiefs, AVOID USING CASHPLUS BANK.

They blocked my account without any notice. locked all my money, For 2.5 months I have had no access to my own money. I provided all the requested documents.

If you cash plus Bank victim, do this:

1- Raise an official complaint - send a complaint email to Cashplus Bank.
2- You should receive a response within 15 working days.
3- Most likely they will say they will not uphold your complaint. Take that email response go to the Financial Ombudsman website (google it), and make a complaint - it takes less than 20 minutes.
