Our sister was well looked after with tender loving care.
Grant and his team are very helpful & supportive.Helping us through a very stressful time
Not just an ordinary funeral we choose an unusual hearse fitting for our sister who had a great sense of humour.
Grant was on holiday but was still in contact with my brother & myself while he was away.
Nothing is too much trouble
They have the personal touch which has long left many funeral directors.
My family & I will use them again they are our family now

Cannot rate Grant and the team at County Funerals highly enough. They managed to make an awful situation of losing my father far easier to cope with that I could've ever imagined. The service they provided was incredibly personal, and all aspects of the funeral and the service that would be delivered were discussed in our own time, face to face, in our own home. Given we live quite a distance from Grant's team, this was unbelievable to us. They did not even entertain the idea of trying to upsell us, or try to sway any of our decisions, Grant provided every bit of knowledge he had to us, in order to allow us to make an informed choice, and gave us plenty of time to do so. We were not pushed for rushed answers even once. The final service delivered by the team was incredibly professional, and was everything my Dad would've wanted from a funeral. It did not contain any aspects of a typical funeral as you would usually expect, and that was all taken in Grant's stride. Cannot recommend County Funerals enough, even if you're not in the area, it's definitely worth still giving them a ring. Price was incredibly reasonable, and a bargain for the level of service provided. Everyone who I have spoken to, that attended the funeral, have said it'a a funeral they will never forget. Many Thanks to Grant and the team for making and awful situation far easier you cope with. Cannot thank enough.

Attended a funeral of a friend who passed suddenly well before his time which everyone there felt was exactly what he would have wanted, (not an easy task as he was a wonderfully talented & unconventional gentleman with varied interests and multi faceted groups of friends yet they sensitively encompassing the needs of his family uppermost). I would be very happy to have Grant do my send off (hopefully not for some time yet)

I must say that Grant Pinney and the team of funeral directors dealt with my mothers funeral service extremely well. Nothing was too much of a problem no matter how small the request.

A great team, they were responsive to my requests and helped guide me through the process. The team were efficient but compassionate and took a lot of stress out of the situation, I felt in good hands from the start, everything was clear, transparent and they kept me updated on what was happening throughout, nothing was too much trouble. The funeral went exactly as planned.

From the moment we approached County Funerals until after my mother’s funeral we received a truly outstanding professional service. Specifically, Grant and his team offered such a personalised, individual and caring service. The team and especially Dena almost became family members! They were so supportive and respectful and especially important for us they cared for my mother from the minute they took her to the chapel until after the funeral. Nothing was too much trouble. Grant and Dena also relieved us of so much pressure at a very difficult time - they made decisions easy without imposing or intruding just always being so mindful of our grief. They took time to listen and get to know each family member and supported each one of us in such a unique caring way. Anyone looking for a first class highly personalised family orientated service should look no further.

As a teenager during such an awful and emotional time the people at county funerals in Little Wymondley truly show passion and compassion for the way you feel and the show that they understand what your going through. I’ll never forget the respect and love they showed us! Whenever we went in we were greeted and before anything -“how are you? /How are you feeling? It really helps and lightens the atmosphere . Without a doubt would choose them over anyone.Personally I want to extend my thanks to Dena who helped me and hugged me whenever I felt alone . Even on the day of the funeral she came sip to me and gave me a hug. She had to go on her toes though as she is quit small and I was very tall . But it was still lovely

My dad was a special and unique man and we wanted a special and unique day to celebrate his extraordinary life.
We arrived at Grant and his teams door after being told what we couldn’t have by numerous other national level funeral directors. The change in the approach by County Funerals was refreshingly the complete opposite, not only did Grant give us what we wanted he used his years of experience and caring approach to guide us to those additional ‘one off’ touches that we hadn’t even dared to think of!
My family and I felt entirely supported in the approach to the day and confident that the day would go as planned.
County Funerals are a family business with a family approach; an amazing team for who nothing is too much.

In these days of huge funeral costs County Funerals worked with us to deliver a very dignified funeral at 30% lower price than the next best quote we had. The team went the extra mile and nothing was too much trouble especially considering the funeral was in Hampshire and CF are based in Herts.
We could not recommend this company more highly.

Where to start this review ! We had the Best most compassionate, caring, professional, Service from County Funerals Grant and Dena are so giving and thoughtful in what they do... we stumbled upon them while looking for a special mode of Transport for my 29 year old Son, and They have the Coolest Hot Rod Which so suited my Sons personality, I know it was all meant to be... Even though County Funerals are based 140 miles away from where we live they came all that way, in time, Dealt with everything we needed done, and in place, to make the Day as special as I needed it to be For an Amazing cost that did not come close to the Cost of a Local High street corporate funeral Directors wanted to Charge is (and no person centred care included) I can’t fault the Personal Service, Care, Compassion, and Professionalism we received ! So Don’t Hesitate contacting County Funerals they sooooo deserve this 5 Star rating from myself and my Family. Thank you sooo much County Funerals. Tina Cains and My Family ❤️

Excellent service from start to finish.
Grant could not have been any more helpful. He guided us through the funeral process with compassion and professionalism.
He organised everything from the order of service to family flower tributes. We didn’t have to worry about anything. He rang the day before to go over the arrangements which was an added bonus.

Flexible, helpful and an understanding funeral organiser

Through a very dark time in our families lives County Funerals were incredibly supportive, considerate and caring. With the greatest of respect and compassion we were able to give our much loved one the send off she deserved.

Grant and the team could not do enough to help with all the arrangements extremely professional with my best mate stans send off this is the first time I have had to arrange a funeral they made it very simple with everything also I was 70 miles away so a lot of the arrangements done over the phone and because I was working in the week grant took the time out of hes personal home time to meet me at weekend s to collect things for the funeral and also to give me the ashes after everything was done so a BIG thank you Adam

Exceptional service. Above and beyond. Nothing I asked for was too much.

Grant conducted the service for my mum and read a beautiful poem that he had found.
He spoke of mum as though he knew her and with heart. Exactly what we wanted/needed.

Extremely professional throughout. Everything was explained thoroughly, options were given and discussed. No rushing or pushiness.
