Location and units are fine but price increases are not. Started at 55$ 3 years ago. Manager said he was giving me a good "deal". A year later the price started to increase and have routinely since all the way up to 85$ Thats a 55% increase.

Storage facility is fine, except elevator which is sometimes a bottleneck several persons are waiting for.
Rates are increasing too fast and payment/penalties process is not clear.

I am very happy with my storage setup at Depotium (formerly Sentinel). And during the winter I am especially pleased at how well maintained their lot is (Bari d'urfee, QC location); and the access to the outside doors has always been clear. The premises are tidy inside and out, well organized, and efficiently managed. However...
The one issue that I would have is the lack of payment options for someone not wanting to be invoiced monthly. I am in this for the long term. I do not want to be bothered with monthly record-keeping. When I first rented my unit, a discounted, annual rental was available - one payment, one invoice, one receipt for tax purposes. Now it is 12 months - no discount!
I have managed to negotiate a 9-month, non-discounted, term but I have to wonder why the annual program is no longer available. It would seem to be a cost-savings measure for corporate Depotium, as well as a time-saver for the Customer.
My rental started at $109 monthly I believe and, three years later, it is up to $131 per month - an increase of 20%. 27% if you account for the missing 7% discount that I started with. Might it be time to re-think this - especially for seniors on fixed income.
Otherwise, the location is great, security good, staff incredibly pleasant and accommodating, and the lockers dry and well maintained.

Great customer service, I like that they are open on saturdays. However I do not like that if you don't have a credit card you have to go in every month.

Accounting treatment of invoices of Depotium is painful.
It is very difficult for us to treat your invoices since it's never real invoice but Statement of unpaid invoices. It creates lots of confusion because we sometime pay double of the monthly rent because the statements show 2 months instead of only the current month.
It has to changed. We are spending lot of time trying to reconcile invoices and payment with the Depotium accounting clerk.

In mid January, I called in advance to let you know I was ending my contract. Depotium told me everything was noted and fine.... As agreed, I moved my stuff out of the warehouse... and the next day you charged me another 4 weeks anyways.
Now, I have been waiting almost two weeks to get my refund. After having spoken to several Depotium employees, I got apologies and been told it was "the first time ever" they were seeing such an issue, but it is still not resolved and the money has not been credited back to my Visa.
