Ease of use enjoyable

Bought this printer with the thought that they would be delivering a multi color system in Q3 and have since learned this is never going to happen. It was a hard decision between the Centauri carbon and the Bambu Labs P1S and I went with the elegoo. Bad mistake. But they are now making a version 2 that has the capabilities. No thanks im not making that mistake again. Not buying anything else from Elegoo.

Many customers, myself included, purchased the Elegoo Centauri Carbon printer in good faith, relying on Elegoo’s public representations that a multicolor system would be released in the third quarter of 2025. A company of Elegoo’s size and reputation is expected to honor its commitments and deliver on such material product features.

However, Elegoo has now cancelled the promised multicolor system, leaving hundreds—if not thousands—of customers feeling misled. This decision fundamentally undermines the reasonable expectations of purchasers who relied on those assurances when making their buying decision. In my view, this constitutes an unfair and misleading sales practice, as customers paid for a product based on features that were advertised but ultimately withdrawn.

Started printing from day 1 right out of the box. I have used the printer probably close to 400 hours of printing. So far only one minor failure. Great value and it works great.

I tried to leave a review on their site that was not 5 stars but they don't publish them unless they are five stars, hard to believe that there are only 5 reviews on their Centauri Carbon Accessory pack and what a coincidence that are all 5 stars.

I left a 1 star review and it was not published.

I bought the Carbon because I was told Colour AMS was coming which is now obviously not the case.

I bought the accessory pack as the way it is presented on the website you get PLA-CF along with he plates etc which seemed like good value but then it only cam with PLA. When I questioned this they point to the hidden description which does show it only comes with PLA, but that is below a list which does include the PLA-CF.

Seems very deceptive to me.

Having said all this I am generally pretty happy with the printer itself and their filaments.

The spool was wound without any tangles and printed fantastically!

Fast shipping, parts were in stock, great packaging that is also excellent for storage until needed as it is clearly marked

The printer just works, as advertised. I received it 6 months ago and have been pleased with the performance. There was the initial setup and calibration when I first set it up. I have never had to go back and re calibrate it again.
I have used the machine default settings for PLA, PETG and ASA and the only failed prints I have had were user based. This is a far and away a better experience that my previous printer.

Excellent printer, dependable and reliable

I pre-ordered a Centauri Carbon and got an estimate ship date. The machine was a month or so out at that point. The whole time I received updates to let me know the status. Once the machine arrived it was quickly inspected for damage, and none was found. The packing of the part is very robust and kept the printer safe.
The product itself is great. It makes beautiful prints right out of the box and doesn't require the tinkering and trouble shooting that my old Frankenstein of a Tevo machine required. Overall great experience and would highly recommend for both the new hobbyist or anyone coming from an early generation printer.

My review got flagged by Elegoo because I told the truth and now Elegoo and trust pilot want to take it down I’m telling the truth no refund no item I’ve been robbed and Elegoo keep sending me Chinese links to random websites to confirm something but I don’t read Chinese if I’m not being truthful post the confirmation of delivery or a refund trust pilot want me to put more information by give me no way of giving more information and if you don’t agree with the flag it tells you not to respond to the flag and your review will be taken down anyway

The Elegoo Centauri Carbon is a fantastic printer.
So why not 5 stars?
Because the way they're handling the promised "AMS/MMU" It was promised and is the reason many people bought the printer.
Now they're just ghosting us on it.
Let us know it's coming or not. Either way.

This is actually my 3rd resin printer, and I wish I could have started with this one. My previous ones were bargain-level printers that didn't last long, maybe a year before their screens became useless. This Elegoo Mars Ultra is my first mid-range printer, and it's fantastic.

What really makes it great are the features that make it easy to use without any surprises. The autoleveling was perfect right out of the box, which is an absolutely fantastic feature as I hate manual leveling. The print quality is fantastic, and with that screen, I can get some extreme levels of detail.

The software side is a huge plus. The printer comes with a lifetime license for the Elegoo version of Voxeldance Tango, which is a very professional and capable slicer. It's stable, the auto-supports are usually sufficient, but the ability to customize supports is essential and it's fairly intuitive here. You need this slicer for the WiFi connectivity to work, and the setup was very much a 'connect and go' experience. Sending a print directly from the slicer to the printer without messing with USB sticks is a feature I love.

My first print was just a calibration cube, and it came out perfectly with the suggested print settings for the abs-like resin I was using. Since I print miniatures for gaming, I'm developing a resin blend for durability, and adjusting the print settings was easy enough in the slicer. The printer has performed beautifully. Now whenever I need a new monster for the table, I can just slice and print.

I'm using this for both personal use and my business, and I'd definitely recommend it as a first-time printer for anyone new to the hobby.

I have nothing but a good experience Elegoo. From tech support for my Neptune 4 plus to the quality of the filaments. I don't think you can go wrong with Elegoo.

I only have experience with there PETG CF. I love it!!

I only bought this because of the promised multi-color printing. They have since removed all mention of the multi color from the website. False advertisement is disgusting. I will be removing all elegoo products from my print lab because of false promises and lack of support from Elegoo. Spend the money anywhere else. They're already making the Centauri Carbon 2, instead of delivering on promises.

The ordering process and the delivery went flawless. The product itself is much better than expected. Awesome product, god job elegoo

Quick and extremely helpful response.

They responded with incredible speed to a query/issue I had. They provided me with the quickest and most effective solution I could have hoped for and went above and beyond the initial consultation, offering me advice on how to check the equipment and components (including a video). They also reassured me by telling me that what happened is common when it comes into contact with resin and gets soaked, but that it has a solution and can be prevented. Everything was great, 10/10.
