I use to love Elegoo
I use to love Elegoo. in fact I have 5 FDM and 2 resin Elegoo printers. 2 of them are the new Centauri Carbon.
after seeing the Centauri Carbon 2 already for release over sea and not show on my version on the webpage. (like their trying to hide it) It comes with a Multi color system that truthfully looks like something that was put together by a 12 year old and leave the filament exposed to humidity, Has a huge top that makes it almost imposable to put on a shelf, and all of the people that bought the Centauri Carbon at the time of release still have no update on our multi-color system.... that according to the webpage (before Elegoo took it down) we should have had by now.
I'm done. I am no longer going to deal with a company that likes to bate and switch and mislead there customers just to kick up the sales number.
The printers are great. I have never had a problem with any of them. They work and print great. This is about respect and trust. I am choosing not to give my hard earned money to a company that has no respect for its customers.
I am currently selling my Elegoo printers locally because if this.
I will hold on to my Centauri Carbons until last incase Elegoo decides that we, the customers, are worth Elegoo Word and Respect

Not flashy, just works
After several months with the Centauri Carbon, my first 3D printer, I'm pleased that the few issues I've had can all be attributed to user error. I don't print massive amounts or much that's unusual for settings, but the printer has been a workhorse and requires very little oversight.

:No Issues To Date
Excellent pricing for the quality print performance using PLA filament. Have not tested other diverse filaments yet. Just PLA but quality is very good. Also good adhesion on the plate provided. Only weakness is the internal lighting which is inadequate but since PLA can be printed with open door and top this is not a PLA issue.

Don't Promise Open Source For Marketing Purposes & Not Do It
Elegoo was a five star company but promising to open source and not doing that tarnished Elegoo in my eyes. I still love my Neptune 4 Pro but if I was buying a similar printer today, I'd buy a Sovol SV06 Ace. I may buy a Saturn Ultra, but Sovol's devotion to open source was a primary factor in me buying an SV08 and Zero from them.

I love my egocentric carbon
I love my egocentric carbon. I thought about dropping a star because they haven't given us the multicolor system yet, but it is tremendously easy to use and does great prints.

I ordered new vats
I ordered new vats. The package said it would fit mars pro. However the vats did not have holes for the hold down bolts. Contacted customer service but they said that because I opened the box they couldn’t help me. I have since ordered the correct set and they fit. I’m not happy with your decision.
