Elite provided great tuition in preparation for the Kent 11+. Each session was engaging yet challenging. The tutor always ensured all the children understood each topic before moving on and ensured all children had an input during the session. There was always sufficient homework set and suitable material used. Elite allowed our child’s confidence to grow and believe the 11+ was achievable. The tutor was always responded to emails regarding any questions we had and was always happy to have a call via Zoom. Overall, we were very happy with the tuition Elite provided and there was a definite improvement in our child’s understanding and knowledge. We feel our child is more than ready for the exams in September.

Our son spent 2.5 terms with Mr. Shaikh. His tuition was structured, engaging and helpful. He was very patient and accommodating with our son. I decided to carry on the exam preparation on my own but only because he received that very strong start and foundation from Elite. With the help of ELITE 11 Plus Tuition, My Son, Zuhair was impressively offered a place to study at Whitgift School, Trinity School and Eltham College, along with obtaining an offer of an Academic Scholarship at his current school: Royal Russell, upon Year 7 entry.

The tuition lessons were conducted online via the platform Zoom, on a weekly basis; with Mr Shaikh who worked on a flexible schedule and was more than willing to accommodate for extra lessons in certain areas if required, which Zuhair and I found especially helpful as we arrived closer to the exam period. The approachable nature of Mr Shaikh provided me with honest feedback of my Son’s progress, which is an essential quality to have in a tutor.

Topics were covered well in advance of his school’s curriculum, which allowed him to enter all classes with confidence and liveliness. As a result of this, Zuhair swiftly rose to the top of his classes, which was also evident from continually positive teacher feedback and praise on Parents’ evenings.

The day Zuhair started ELITE 11 Plus Tuition, I knew he was in capable hands. I was immediately provided with a step by step plan of action that was evidently adhered to, as visible through my Son’s secure progress. The kind nature of Mr Shaikh in combination with his professional yet firm method of teaching resulted in productive sessions with full engagement of Zuhair, ultimately giving us the result we so very much wanted.

A wide range of resources were used across the lessons, including specially tailored in-house material which particularly helped Zuhair when it came to the ‘Critical Thinking’ components of the Whitgift & Eltham examinations, which I believe could not have been prepared for in any better way.

Not only was Zuhair kept at ease, but I as a parent felt a weight lifted off my shoulders too. I was constantly informed about possible mock tests for my Son to sit, something that was a great tool for us to use for working on the areas that needed a final push just before the actual exams. Clear and early reminders were sent by Mr Shaikh for exam registration links and deadlines, making it as worry-free as possible. As well as this, a note of encouragement was sent to Zuhair before each examination with a motivating can-do spirit, a very kind gesture on Mr Shaikh’s part.

As a Mother of Four, from experience I know that the 11+ journey can be very stressful. But having a good mentor on board is the best way to put you and your child at ease. That is why I would fully recommend Mr Shaikh and his team at ELITE 11 Plus Tuition to anyone going through the process.
