We only wanted to replace the lenses. They received both pairs of our glasses on 17 June 2026. I emailed them to cancel the order for one pair, so only one pair needed new lenses, and they confirmed that was fine.

After two weeks, I called to check the status, but the glasses were still not ready. They were also confused about the pair I had cancelled. They apologized and promised to speed up the production.

The following week, I called again, and the glasses were still not finished. I explained that we were going on holiday and would be visiting Trondheim, so I asked if I could pick them up at the Trondheim store the following week. They told me to call again the day before to confirm.

And guess what? They still weren’t ready.

This company is a complete mess. The service and customer support are terrible. I would avoid them. You’re much better off using Synsam or Specsavers—they’re far less stressful to deal with.

Cost effective, quick and savvy. Progressive lenses perfect fit.

Costumer service is NON EXIST. No matter what, especially if you want to change the PD just right after purchasing, i am not sure if i am getting refund or get them redone.

The glasses are pretty good. It's a shame everything else is so crappy. The web site is primitive and has errors. Order handling is sloppy and customer service non existent. In my case order information was never not updated - my glasses ar still showing as in production even though they have been delivered. No notification of dispatch or tracking number was ever send, with the result that I wasn´t at home when they tried to deliver. No response received to emails to customer service. As I say, the glasses are actually pretty good, so if you can put up with the rest......

Good prices and excellent timely delivery

I ordered glasses from Extra Optical and didn't really expect much. The glasses were difficult for me to adjust to and I thought I'd just leave it - but my boyfriend said he had had really good experiences with their service so I contacted them about it. They let me send the glasses back (after marking where my pupils were when I looked through the lenses) for a check and then they also offered to make me another pair or a refund! I was actually amazed. So they made me a new pair with different frames and they work much better! Very happy customer - really good customer service which I honestly did not expect. Hence the 5 star review :)
