This service is so underrated! I got 2 complete service manuals for my vehicles. I was expecting more of an old school “Chiltons” manual, but these downloads contain pretty much all of the information that dealership technicians get. Diagnostics, recall info, step-by-step assemble and disassembly instructions…Stuff the YouTube warriors just muddle through. I can’t recommend this enough to people. It pays for itself in one self-service job.

I received the download link for the manual within 1 hour of purchase. When I opened the download, there were no diagrams accompanying the parts listings. I emailed support and within a couple of days, Alan resolved the issue by emailing me a zipped version of manual. Good service on the back end.

Alan worked hard to resolve a problem we had with our manual order, and we wound up with a much more useful manual. Factory Manuals makes things right!

I have had the manual for several months. My opinion has not changed. The manual for the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid is nearly useless because it has no index and hyperlinks don't work.

But it dawned on me that the manual is different for each vehicle. FactoryManuals doesn't create the manual, it buys it from the manufacturer (or something) and then massages it a bit to put it in a format it can be electronically distributed. It could be the original source for the Hyundai manual is bad and not the fault of FactoryManuals. The quality of manuals for other vehicles could be much better. So the quality of the manual depends upon your vehicle.

I was able to get a tiny bit of value from the manual. I added a trailer hitch wire harness custom built by Curt Mfg. It works by unplugging the connector to the rear taillights of vehicle and plugging the customer harness in between the factory harness and the taillights. However, I could find no instructions for the location of the taillight connector.

The taillights for the Santa Fe are in the tailgate, so I dismantled the plastic parts (a lot of work) and found the correct connectors. But the custom harness was not long enough to fit using those connectors. So I searched the FactoryManual looking for the same connector type. It took trying several terms to get the right search. Sure enough there were two more connectors inside the rear bumper right behind the stop lights.

The location of those connectors is nearly invisible because stuff is in the way, but I was able to reach in with my hand and found them. After wiggling them out it was clear I had found the right connector. So, the FactoryManual was a small and essential help in my project.

So I made use of the manual, but since there was no index it was very awkward to search for the thing I needed. Each search took minutes to complete. It took an hour to find the right search terms after multiple searches. And, all I found was the a drawing of the wire harness, not a picture of it or its location. After some thought, able to interpret its location.

I'm sad that the manual is of so little use.

The reason for my feedback. I lost my version of the EPC Catalog from my computer which I purchased over a year ago so I emailed Mr. Alan Davis for a new link to my surprise I received an email with a new link the next day that what I call an excellent service. If anybody require manuals this the company to use.

I ordered because it was my understanding I would have instant access once I paid. There wasNO OTHER menton of turnaround time on their site, bur there is NOW, wonder why? I emailed back and forth with Alan several times asking about status, the NEXT DAY when I still had not received it, I asked that my order be cancelled and for a refund, then they enailedit to me some time later any way, although I still can't find their email. So I contested it through PayPal, and let him know how dissatisfied I was with the service. Nothing but petty and snarky emails from Mr Davis since. His friends must write the good reviews because I did find another review with someone that had almost the exact same experience that I did. And even though the good reviews I see people saying that they had trouble accessing and downloading the manuals which is interesting since it's supposed to be a simple PDF format. When a site promises immediate delivery or something I expect them to honor it, when they promise exceptional customer service I expect them to have that too and I received neither. Still waiting to get this resolved through PayPal, since I haven't heard from them I'm just going to contestant to my credit card too I guess. Too bad I actually have more than one car and if this is gone well, I would have considered ordering a manual from them in the future, NOT ANYMORE!!
Unlike the other negative review on this site, I have the documentation to back up what I'm saying. Also, there is no mention of a return or cancellatinlon l policy anywhere on their site, it definitely does NOT say that once ordered you are forced to accept their product, even if it hasn't made it's way to you yet

I was having issue getting and understanding but he was great about what to look for and every thing got it straightened out very quickly.

Alan Davis was incredibly helpful with downloading and understanding how to use a Land Rover technical manual. He really did the job for me and helped me out in getting through an in-depth repair of my car. Thanks!

I ordered the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe manual. It is almost useless. There are 4800 pages of pictures and lists, but no explanation for how to complete repair tasks. There is no index. There is no easy way to find the section you interested in. I have several Honda manuals I purchased from Honda, and they all were very helpful. I have used many real factory manuals and have decades of experience repairing my own vehicles. I can't repeat this enough. The manual is useless.

Alan Davis is the boss and got me up and running.
In texting him he used short and purpousful answers which I like .

Alan provided the file after I lost it 8 months later.
