Enthusiastic presentation but lacking in content. Extremely basic

Enthusiastic presentation but lacking in detail and in places quite patronising. There was quite a few property investors there and quite a few with a good idea of the concept of property investment so more detail would have been appropriate.

Hi Andrew,

Thank you for your feedback on the free 2 hour seminar you attended in Watford. Our free property investing seminars attract a wide range of people, from those with no property investing experience along with people who may already be landlords, so we aim to balance the presentation to cater for all levels. As you can appreciate 2 hours isn’t long so we do are best to deliver as much valuable knowledge as possible and as enthusiastically as possible (as you kindly pointed out) to keep our audience engaged.

We do offer further training options which may be more suited to someone with your experience so please contact the office if you would like to find out more. We pride ourselves on being the only property investing company accredited through the AQA unit award scheme and are the most reasonable in the marketplace – this has been back by independent research by M- Brain.

Best wishes,

Fielding Financial Team

2 day introduction course

I attended the 2 Day Property Investing Masterclass at Heathrow for those interested in starting to invest, or already invested in the property market.
The main speaker Jo was knowledgeable and a delight, along with the rest of the supporting team taking care of us over the days. The presentation and information pack was well structured, motivational and gave a good sense of the scope of what investing safely in property market takes. Jo talked about a lot about mindset and the preconceptions around landlording and property investment. It was instructional with examples of how to access finances, how to first evaluate a good purchase and how to approach the myriad of professions/people one would need to involve. Personally I would have been interested to hear more in-depth advice on the practical and financial topics rather than the mindset around investing, but overall educational and motivating for such a short course. Of course there was the expected sales pitch to attend additional courses and joining the investment group toward the end, which shows they believe in their product.

Free Seminar

Excellent presentation which gave some valuable information encouraging me to investigate the subject more. Very reasonable cost especially as London based locations are not cheap venues. Looking forward to my 3 day course

It is a fantastic company

It is a fantastic company. They genuinely treat you like a member of the family. People are not trying to outdo each other. There is a real sense of support and network within the organisation and across the community of students, partners, mentors and speakers etc. People are not out to get you but genuinely want to see you succeed. The corporate world is slightly different to this so it is a breath of fresh air.

Start of my Journey.

Wow what a weekend, I left the event buzzing and ready to start my property adventure. It was really well run and I really liked the stories from the presenters about the things they had done. Cakes and coffee fuelled me throughout the sessions!! Thank you guys for lighting my spark.

3 day hard sell costs £499

My mother attended a free 2 hour seminar in Milton Keynes in which she was sold the 3 day "property investing course", if she signed up there and then she could get a "free" place for someone else to attend with her, this cost £499, so far so good!
The 3 day event was blatantly constructed with the sole purpose of selling the "advanced core course" at a cost of minimum £21k or an elite package at £35k. (At no point and despite some pretty pointed questions being asked was there reference to courses starting at £895 as claimed by responses on this site)
The first day was built around pseudo psychological nonsense designed to make you believe that you were lucky that fielding financial had come into your life and you would be a wally (their words not mine) if you didnt become educated (via their course offering) this was mixed with super high level information on how to strategically approach selecting geographical areas and market segments for your investment...all delivered in a rushed manner and questions were not allowed in the moment to clarify and consistently peppered with the message that without their education you are a wally, or a Dom and Dora (don't ask).
The course material provided contained some detail but all the data points, headlines displayed and spoke to by the presenter were from 2016 or 2017 and earlier.
The second day: The morning focused on what types of finance are available and a large section on how to leverage 0% credit cards which culminated in everyone being given an exercise to call their credit card provider and request a reduction in the interest rate (this was interesting and valuable information resulting in those with Barclays cards getting 4% reductions) and a huge increase in the available credit limit . People were challenged to think of a number add £20k and then double it?? So most people were asking for circa £40k...the most upsetting part of this process from my perspective was that the few people in the room without credit cards were encouraged by the "coaches" into applying for cards???
The second part of the second day was pure hard sell, literally 3 hours of being spoken at, about the benefits of the course peppered with what I called the "cult of Gill" constant irrelevant personal information about Gill and others with a really high emotional content with the caveat that being a property investor makes these life challenges easier??
The price tag of £499 for what is essentially a 3 day hard sell taken from my mother leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.
Was there some good information...yes! Did it need 3 days to impart that? No! It could have been done in a morning/afternoon if all the hard sell had been stripped out.
Was it worth £499 and 3 days of our valuable time?
Most definitely not!

Dear Tim,

We were sorry to read your review that our 3 day training didn’t live up to your expectations and also disappointed as there were a number of inaccuracies in it.

Firstly we do not run free 1 day seminars as you state your mother attended. We were also surprised to read your comment on whether the three day training is value for money as you only attended one and half days of the three days of training (leaving early on the Friday and returning again on the Saturday) so you missed so much of the valuable content.

Having not been in attendance for over half the training you missed some of the key teachings which is clear from your review that you misunderstood the point of our credit card exercise and also the reasoning behind our Dom and Dora explanations.

As with most education companies there are opportunities for further learning and we are proud of the fact that you can continue your education with us. The option of further learning only forms a small part of the three days but as you didn’t attend for the full duration of the training you have clearly not been able to put this into perspective.

Had you completed the course and undertaken your strategic 1.2.1 you would have had the opportunity to talk about further education (if you wanted that) and at that point we would have been able to talk you through the options – one of which is £875.

Creating wealth through property is a great way to secure your financial future but its vital that you do that with the training and more importantly the full time support of experts and other property investors.

We pride ourselves on being the only property investing company accredited through the AQA unit award scheme and are the most reasonable in the marketplace and this has been backed by independent research by M-Brain. The Global Market Research company found that we were not only the best value for money but customer care, professionalism and accreditation, integrity and transparency against competitors.

As a company all our profits go right back into providing expert training for our mentors, speakers and students along with student conferences, live training days and a host of regular training materials that ensure our students have the most up-to-date information, especially when it comes to changing legislation.

We wish you every success with your property journey.

Best wishes,

FF Team
