I had them into my home in March\April…

I had them into my home in March\April and they totally trashed my home, breaking windows, splattering plaster all over the home. They then did not supply the correct documentation for the work (if you can call it that). I am still chasing them for documents and I am trying to sell my home but cannot sell due to lack of documents.

The number they give on their website does not work and the email does not send, so I will now have to go through the ombudsman and sue them and raise concerns that they are using government funds to damage people's homes and leave them with substandard work.

No hot water for over 3 weeks and counting .

Despite the negative reviews I went ahead with ECo4 installation of solar panels, wall insulation and heat pump. It all went well albeit with some minor issues such as location of readiators.
10 months later, however, I have a problem with the boiler not supplying hot water. I contacted FTCH by phone and was promised they would look into it but after leaving several messages on ansaphone no one has been in touch and Ithey are not answering the phone.

A mystery.

I received a letter today from FTCH Group, a company with an address in Liverpool, L3 9BS. They offer 'fully funded grants' for energy-saving measures in the home. I checked their listing at Companies House and found that the 'nature of business' is stated as 'advertising agencies'. Their accounts up to 30th September 2024 state that their average number of employees is 6. Their company number is 12866169 if you want to check. I'm puzzled by the small size of this company which apparently aims to cover the northwest of England and possibly Wales too. I won't risk giving them my details - I've had other letters offering free things to benefit claimants but I don't claim benefits and I'm cautious about 'free' offers in junk mail.

A total sham of a company AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

A total sham of a company, do not deal with them.
They have previous one star reviews which shows it was not just my bad experience.
I was sent an unsolicited letter, phoned several times to chase my application, was given a start date but when I asked for technical specifications they went silent, I followed up with another email but no reply.
If we had the work done, there would have been no redress to fix any faults, unlike Smart Energy Homes who have many favourable reviews.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Doubts about identity of company

As noted previously, "first time central heating wales" writes unsolicited letters to households urging you to benefit from the government ECO4 grant. Listen to Radio 4 You and Yours (Monday 14 Oct) for problems with ECO4 grant installations, same day our letter arrived. The company name on the letter does not seem to exist on the government Companies House website, but an advertising agency, FTCH Ltd, does, registered to the same Colwyn Bay address as the central heating company on the letter. The company website then gives a Liverpool address for the company. That seems irregular, and reason enough for me to avoid them

Cold Calling Scammers

I recently had some unsolicited junk mail from these scam artists stating that as my house was an EPC rating of F, I was entitled to free upgrades.

An online check, that any competent company would undertake, shows that the house was rated C. (It has since been improved to a B but there is no public record of this)

This firm are either grossly incompetent or are dishonestly misrepresented the facts. If you need work done go to a local firm who you trust for advice

Complete waste of time.

Rung them three times and filled out the online forms and told someone will phone you back in 2-3 days. 3-4 weeks later heard nothing. Complete waste of time.
