Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 59 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant disappointment with the product quality, frequently receiving flowers that were described as half-dead, wilted, or sparse upon arrival, often not resembling the advertised images [S-1, S-2, S-3, S-11, S-12]. This led to a general consensus that the flowers were a waste of money and of poor quality, especially considering the price [S-2, S-22, S-32, S-38, S-42]. The delivery service also received criticism, with reports of late deliveries, damaged packaging, and flowers being left at incorrect addresses [S-47, S-54, S-60, S-94, S-95]. Some people also felt that the pricing was too high for the quality received, noting that similar or better bouquets could be purchased elsewhere for less [S-22, S-32, S-38, S-80, S-108].

Waste of money for Mothers day

My daughter sent a hand tied bouquet for Mother's Day which arrived yesterday 11th March.
Box was scrunched up and open but the contents undamaged.
Having followed the instructions enclosed, I put my flowers in the supplied vase (more of a brown cardboard tub to be honest) and oh my...did they look pathetic 😞
I took photos & sent them to my daughter. I obviously would never say to her exactly what I thought of the quality of her chosen gift.
When we spoke later in the day, she told me she was extremely disappointed with the look and the quantity of flowers...even more so as she'd sent the same gift to her mother in law.
The picture on the website is hardly representative of what is being sent out.
Funnily enough,on the shipping label, the sender is not Next but a different company. Have these flowers even got anything to do with Next- do they actually know what's being sent out in their name?
Do not bother ordering from here, just a complete waste of your hard earned cash!

Very poor presentation

Received flowers for a special birthday. They looked dreadful. Squashed together. Very poor presentation. When cut and placed in water they were lovely however the colour combination is nothing as advertised. Would not recommend.

Nothing like the advertised image

I spent a lot of time choosing a special birthday flower arrangement for my wonderful mother in law. The image showed a range of pink and orange flowers, roses and carnations plus foliage, displayed in a hat box with tissue paper and ribbons. The item delivered was a 'letterbox' size cardboard package, very sparse flowers which had to be arranged, no hatbox, no tissue, no ribbons. Nothing like the advertised image and a massive disappointment for both myself and the recipient. I will never buy from Next Flowers again. I trusted them and their reputation to not let me down.

Valentine's Day is a special one day a year event! Do not let Next spoil that day!

I ordered my wife a cream roses bouquet for Valentine's day, which was also the 40th year anniversary of our engagement. Imagine my anger and disappointment when the order arrived and it was completely wrong. Instead of a very impressive, beautiful bouquet, she received a very sad looking posy of spring flowers, which incidentally were very poor considering the £25 price point!! I made a complaint by phone and were offered the correct order for Monday (today). What is the point in that?? Valentine's day is one day of the year. They refunded my money and promised me a call back within 24 hours, as I had escalated the complaint. I am still awaiting the call. I will certainly never recommend Next for flowers or be using them again myself.

Dreadful

Dreadful. Box was crushed and £50 bouquet was like it had been picked out of someone’s garden and a dog had trampled on them. Hubby got me them for Valentine’s Day. Chucked them in the bin.

Tipped upside down

Received a planter from friends for my birthday. Box had been tipped upside down. A total mess. Tried to retrieve some of the plants without success. Very disappointing. Haven't told friends as they would be upset.

Next flowers very disappointed

I received a bouquet of flowers from my sister. I can’t tell her how bad they were but I took a photo of them on receipt and would be happy to share this with anyone. They were very disappointing. There were at least three roses that were drooping and dying on the basis of these flowers I will not send flowers through next again.

TWO YEARS (almost to the day) after…

TWO YEARS (almost to the day) after writing a review on Trustpilot, Next emailed me to ask me to get in touch, presumably to make amends for a truly awful bouquet.
I have emailed them twice since then, with no reply, not even an acknowledgment of my message.
Will never use them again or recommend them.

Flowers delivered damaged and dropped off at the wrong address

Ordered flowers for my wife for a remembrance gift. The state of the box when it arrived was horrendous. It had been opened and crushed in parts. The flowers were wrapped in tissue that was torn in several places. Flowers were broken in the box and the roses were worn out. I will never order flowers from Next, ever again. This has been a distressing experience. I have no idea if they left the Next warehouse in the state I received them in or if the DPD delivery driver damaged them in transit. To make matters worse, DPD delivered them to the wrong address and whoever they were delivered to kindly dropped them off to me. Their delivery timing was also awful as they offered to deliver between 17:30 and 18:30! Overall terrible experience.

Ordered flowers for my mother in law…

Ordered flowers for my mother in law and sister in law for a remembrance gift. Arrived 2 days late although I had ordered a week in advance. Terrible quality, roses were brown and wilting. Absolutely did not look anything like the picture. Complained and new flowers sent. Mum in laws second bunch was just as bad. Both sets died within a couple of days. Very disappointed with Next. Avoid at all costs if you want something special and quality.

Seriously?!

My wife received some flowers for her 60th birthday sent by my sister. On arrival the box looked as if it had been drop kicked out of Essex and landed in Devon. On opening the box we found some half dead flowers in a crumpled wrapping then stuffed into an empty gherkin jar. When I contacted my sister she sent me a screenshot of what we should have received which had us rolling on the floor laughing. Managed to salvage some of the flowers and my sister got a full refund but it really shouldn't be like this. Appalling service.

Omg I wish I could post a picture.... im in SHOCK at how bad these are. Now this isnt a complaint for next customer service, infact as a regular customer they are great and thankfully i did get refunded even before they arrived as I explained I had seen these reviews.

I was meant to give these to my friend who sadly lost someone this week but I simply could not give her these... dead roses in a cardboard box basically ! They arrived yesterday already pretty dead, and today they smell and have drooped!
For £40 too which btw can get you an amazing huge bouquet at most local florists! Pleaseeee do not waste your money on these! They should all be taken off the website its shocking.

Half dead flowers in a cardboard coffin

Received flowers from a close friend after my mother passed away. Having spent the last few weeks nursing and caring for my Mum, receiving half dead flowers in a cardboard coffin wasn't the kindness my friend had intended. I don't feel I can tell her as she'd be so upset. She loved my Mum almost as much as me and this is just a slap in the face for both of us. Presumably Next still operates its flower shop for the exact reason that people don't think they can complain when someone has given the recipient so much thought.

Gift of flowers - not good quality

My friend ordered me flowers for my birthday - I was in when they were delivered and immediately opened them - terrible quality the roses are discoloured and look like they are on their last legs. I had deliveries from other florists and M&S which were far far better.

Ordered a £40 autumn bouquet from next…

Ordered a £40 autumn bouquet from next . Wished I’d checked the reviews here first. Not at all like the picture. Poor quality box , no tissue paper as shown in the website , look cheap! . I could have bought a better quality flower bouquet from supermarket for £15.
Will never order flowers from next again ….. could have done a better job myself. You think you are getting quality .
Tried to leave review on product on next page so other customers are aware but doesn’t let you !
