Worth every penny.

Dexter has taken to his new communication buttons like a pro. The support and references that have been provided to guide Dexter and I on this journey are invaluable.

Amazing customer service

Customer service responded to my email extremely quickly and sent me replacement buttons the very next day. Im very impressed with the fluent pet team!

Still don't have the product

Still don't have the product only excuses about supply chain (so 2021). No commitment on delivery. Just horrible communication. I regret making the purchase. If it does not arrive in a few weeks I will need to call Visa for consumer protection. Don't buy this product. I suspect it doesn't even exist.

Disappointed

almost two months and I still haven't received my order yet. Extremely poor communication from the company. If the delivery date would have been clear at the time of order I wouldn't have made the purchase. I certainly hope the product is worth the wait.

We did send an email explaining the delay we had experienced due to the supply chain issues, but we will be first to admit that another email after that might have been in order and do apologize.

As a small company, we did need to pull all our resources together though, to ensure the delays weren't longer than they had been, so we had to prioritize.

We are working very hard to ensure that we have put those delays behind us!!!

Pets deserve to talk!

I find my cat's use of buttons so rewarding! I now feel as if he has a right to be able to communicate with us!

Excellent experience

I love that the company and the community are so supportive and invested in getting the best experience for everyone. No one can guarantee that your pet will use the buttons, but they'll sure bend over to help you get there. The product itself is well designed and easy to use. The only thing I wish is that the design included a wall mounting option.

I initially bought a started set but....

I initially bought a started set, and because my dog is very smart (LOL) he took to the buttons like a fish to water and is communicating with me, so I purchased more buttons. I was pleased with the prompt service in receiving the additional buttons, as well as the ongoing process of adding more words so my very smart doggo's vocabulary (you can't tell that I'm a proud dog mom can you? hehe) so he will talk to me in sentences! I'm glad I invested in Fluentpet!

I still do not have my Fluent Pet kit…

I still do not have my Fluent Pet kit that I ordered two months ago. Is this a scam? You charged my credit card immediately after I placed the order, but I have nothing to show for my $300.

The buttons are great and I will order…

The buttons are great and I will order more but the communication regarding shipping delays were not the best. I had to email several times to find out when the order would be shipped and it arrived several weeks after I expected it to. I’m hoping communication with my next order will be better.

It’s broke

It’s broke! The app gives an error and does not allow you to record the word. You end up with blank buttons that do nothing. They look cool… but that’s it. Sad reall it had so much promise.

The delivery is too slow

8/10 still haven't received my order. When I ask customer service, they just tell me to wait. I suspect that the item is lost. The customer experience is extremely poor.

Second time purchasing

This is my second time purchasing button kits. My kid got through 40+ buttons in under 6 months (to my surprise) and looks like he has no intentions of stopping. As long as he keeps going, I'll keep up with his board. Shipping is fast. Product is quality. In my last kit I had 1 button that was dead out of the box, I tried the trouble shooting without success and sent a 10 second video of the issue to customer service. They sent a replacement at no cost. Excellent company as far as i can tell.

Over 1 month wait for refund

I returned an unopened package, and it was delivered to them on June 12, 2023. Yet, they claim their warehouse has "not reported receiving [my] package yet," even though the UPS Proof of Delivery shows that someone named Christian received the package. It's been over 1 month, and I still don't have my refund.

I am sorry that the warehouse has not reported back yet about your package. It can take some time; the warehouse is a third-party service and they handle many many other accounts besides FluentPet.

The tracking provided by the carrier is not always accurate and we do rely on the warehouse to confirm that the package was received in good order.

Good improvements to button design, but shipping is expensive

I really like the layout and overall design of the tiles. I love the update to the buttons so the switch is at the bottom but the speaker is on the top. These are huge improvements.

With the old buttons, the speaker sounds loud enough, but once it’s in a spot on the tile, it’s muffled. The old buttons also malfunctioned quite a bit. 3 out of 12 of my older-model buttons don’t work well (one doesn’t work at all, and two others constantly run out of battery or keep resetting for whatever reason).

With shipping, the products come pretty fast and ordering is easy, but I have to pay either shipping if it’s not over 100$ or customs taxes (I think it was 25$) because I’m in Canada. I do wish the shipping could be made more affordable.

We really do hear you about the shipping costs to Canada. Unfortunately we are a small company without the same "shipping power" that the larger ecommerce stores have. We are always looking for better options though!
