Great glasses—a “must own”for pilots

Have owned multiple pairs of Flying Eyes glasses and have loved them all! The most comfortable and lasting glasses I have ever owned. The magnetic sunshades are a must for pilots. Finally, customer service has always been responsive and helpful in answering any questions I had.

After watching several of Spite’s…

After watching several of Spite’s YouTube videos, I had to find out what all the hype was about—so I picked up a pair of Flying Eyes. And let me tell you, I absolutely can’t ride without them now! The comfort, clarity, and fit are unmatched, and I’ll never go back to anything else. Totally worth it!

Love my Flying Eyes sun glasses…

These are the best glasses/sun glasses I’ve ever had! They are great in the cockpit and throughout my every day life. When I have to put a normal pair of glasses, I can’t wait to change them out.

I Can See Clearly Now!

I have been buying Flying Eyes from Dean since the very beginning! He and his team are great to work with! The glasses themselves are over the top amazing for pilots! They will NOT disappoint!

Never again.

CEO begging for 5 stars on social media? Not very classy. Never buying from here again. The husband and wife managers are rude and never know what they're talking about. Sad to see the company go down hill... check out Jake TheGardenSnake on YouTube ... he exposes their lies and terrible company structure. The sorry excuse for a business owner needs to educate himself on how to properly run a business.

Overpriced and underwhelming

The prices go up every single year, yet the quality has stagnated. They do their best to prevent any competition (yet has failed, zenni optiflex is the same product with more customization options at an actually reasonable price). The frames delaminate, their "try-on kit" is absurdly priced, and now the owner of the company is begging for positive reviews on social media, causing the recent influx of 5 star reviews, largely written by influencers that are actively being paid by flying eyes for advertising. Scummy all around, cant emphasize enough that literally any other company would provide a better product for a fraction of the cost.

I have several pairs of Flying Eyes…

I have several pairs of Flying Eyes glasses. They’re lightweight and the arms lay flat so my headset doesn’t squish them in to my head. I can wear them for hours on end without getting sore.
I also dropped a pair and scratched the lens. They sent a replacement quickly and were very easy to work with. I’m impressed with the products and service. Highly recommended.
Side note: nothing wrong with the company asking actual customers for a review, most businesses do.

I've been a big fan of Flying Eyes…

I've been a big fan of Flying Eyes glasses for many years now. I have two pairs I use every day (Normal RX Glasses and Sunglasses), nothing else will do like they do. I am a Pilot who wears headsets, and having these glasses fit under the headset is a game changer in comfort.

I can understand how people would compare these glasses to other glasses and not understand the importance of the problem they solve. These work under headsets and helmets where nothing else does like this!

Very comfortable!

Very comfortable!
I have had my pair of Flying Eyes glasses for more than a year and have had no issues. I find them to be comfortable, especially when wearing a headset.

Absolutely worth every penny

Absolutely worth every penny. Best sunglasses I've ever owned. These are a game changer under the ears of your headset...which was why I went with a prescription lens. Whisper quiet and so comfortable that I forget I have them on. Also use these under a motorcycle helmet...equally as impressive. The people on here calling these cheap plastic and that you can get the same thing from Amazon are nuts. They are the people that lose a pair every week and are looking for something that is utilitarian and good enough. Sure, these aren't the cheapest frames you'll ever buy...but they are well designed and made for those of us that require a high quality product backed by the manufacturer. Try a pair...I doubt you'll regret it.

Awesome glasses and super company

I own 4 pairs of these, as a private pilot they are game changers. Snug fit without bulk that provides no issues with pilot headsets against your head. The company is owned by a pilot and gives back to the community.

Flying Eyes = Good Stuff

1. They make a really good set of sunglasses… no being a cheapskate myself, I first thought… “too pricey for me”… but have been wearing a set for several years, now. My old “cheap brand ones” are retired.
2. Had a slight problem with my wife’s pair(several years old, as well)… they replaced them with a new pair at Oshkosh
3. I rate them as a 100% good choice

They're not just for pilots!

These glasses are not just for pilots that wear headsets, they also work well for us folks that are landlocked. I own and drive a 4000 hp "funny car" and with that goes lots of safety equipment including a helmet and fireproof head sock. In the past I was forced to endure a temple headache from the arms that were on my old glasses. These Flying Eyes solved that problem. They bend and flex and are very light. Now I don't even realize I have them on! These are not your Five and Dime Store glasses, they are super high quality and their customer service is second to none! If you are into fashion, like to look cool, or in my case, need something to alleviate the dreaded temple headache from normal glasses, Flying Eyes are where it's at!

Professional airline pilot - love them

I am a professional airline pilot and have enjoyed my “Otus” prescription glasses a lot. They are my daily use and the only ones I fly with. Wearing a headset (on ear) 5-8 hours a day these are by far the most comfortable glasses I have ever had. They are extremely light and thin which goes a long way at altitude wearing a headset. This is my second set of glasses, originally the reception vendor was not great, the current one I have is the best optical quality I have ever had. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars would be the falling off face part. This never happens with a headset on but sometimes at home, though it’s only when I am upsidedown trying to fix something on my boat to be fair. I am
Told that is somthing that they are working on, and that will make a 5 star product from what already is a 5 star company. 10/10 would recommend if you are a pilot that flies a lot.

Cheaply made and over priced

This product is intentionally overpriced and they hide behind an insanely broad design patent that prevents good faith competition. They break and damage shockingly often for how durable they're advertised as, but their price gouging allows them to offer a "lifetime warranty." You'd be better off getting an almost identical product from Zenni (Optiflex) for a quarter of the price.

Over hyped and over priced

I`ve had these for about a month now and I have to say the hype is way over the top. When I received them, I was initially shocked at how cheap they felt. Having put my prescription into them, I find them uncomfortable to wear around the ear and also whenever you bend down, they fall off. I have now returned to using my old glasses. Extremely disappointed
