Solomon helped uss lot during our house search providing best options in top notch locations. And followed up very promptly to get our offer on the table as soon as possible.

THE WORST.

THE WORST.

I had multiple disputes regarding deposit return, check out process etc. they do not communicate once you paid the rent. An agency that has no honesty, would trick your money as much as they can

Worst Experience Ever - Stay Away

We rented a property from this agency in the Clapham Junction area. In our offer, we made sure that the property would be professionally cleaned before we check-in. When we checked in, we found the flat to be domestically cleaned, and in a really dirty state. Mouse droppings everywhere, and windows dirty you could barely see through. The agency was dealing with this matter as it is normal or acceptable. On one other occasion while we were in the house we saw 2 technicians opening our main door and entering our house. We were shocked to find out that the agency gave them keys for our property without letting us know. Of course, the agency apologized for the incident, but this demonstrates clearly their level of professionalism.
Abused, abandoned, unsupported and vulnerable were the main feelings we felt dealing with this agency. We thought that all the agencies are the same, but dealing with Gordon & Co was one of our worst experiences we ever had.

Elephant and Castle branch review

No problem with the flat viewings, rentals, bills etc. My only issue and it’s a big issue - is a deposit. I expect some of the money to be taken from there fairly, but my situation was very far from being fair. Without getting into details, it took 2 months of discussions which lead to nowhere, and just as an example from that massive bill we got charged - they charged £33 for removal of a single damage-free/trace-free hook, and my friend got charged more than £150-200 for the removal of her ironing board left in the flat. We also got charged £550 for heating and hot water - the fees we never heard of till the day of our check out. The lady who deals with this (Ms. L.A.) stated that that it was all in the contact, and we should’ve read it better (very sorry our bad!!!), and any other payment was the fair price for the removal of the objects. Their response to every dispute point is: “it isn’t my job to remove these items nor anyone else working for Gordon & Co the items should have been removed before you vacated as such I will now have to employ someone to remove them and there will be a labour charge.” I agree, my only question is - how much does it cost for them to employ someone to remove a single hook and an ironing board from the flat, for it to be summing up to over £200? We were never provided payment evidence of those services, and legally they had to justify the spends, but no evidence was ever there - only them delaying this whole process for months. I regret not taking this agency to court.

Awful communication

Communication was dreadful after we moved out regarding our deposit return. We would had to resend the email 3 times to get a response. Will never be using them again.

My post-sales experience with this…

My post-sales experience with this estate agent has been absolutely terrible.

They have taken unreasonably long to reply to emails - weeks - and even longer to resolve issues that should have avoided in the first place.

Never have I experienced such a lack of communication and capability to solve issues promptly and professionally; they are simply not customer-focused.

Do yourself a favour and avoid them.
