Food is great, but customer satisfaction not so much. They didn’t deliver salmon with an order and we would get a refund. But then the refund can only be used with boxes without discount and not on shipping costs. Which in practise means never end feels you have to pay for their own mistake? I know they mention it in their small writings (but who reads these anyhow)

Almost every meal is very tasteful! All fresh ingredients and very divers. I enjoy the convenience of having meals brought to my home every week.

Great recipes, far from ordinary, fresh ingredients, enough variation in the category up to 550 cal.

Great food, delicious and easy to prepare, lots of new exciting combinations of flavors. We love it, it's not the cheapest, but the best.

Way too expensive for what you get. The box is being delivered by Hello Fresh, which is cheaper. So why pay more for Green Chef.
You also get a lot of spam emails, even after you’ve unsubscribed.

Keep sending me letters- even after I tried to delete my account.
Homepage looks like from 1990. Of course only in Dutch available. And with all my translation skills, it is impossible to find the “Delete account” button yourself in your account.
So I tried to call and after 17 minutes I ended up with a person, who doesn’t understand the simplest English words such as “please delete my account”. She wanted to call a colleague for help and after another 12 minutes after work I decided to hang up. I called another day and waited another 5 minutes.
This is a nightmare and one of the companies, that you can’t get rid off.
My advice: Do the groceries yourself and do not subscribe! Sorry!

I stopped using HelloFresh because they missed atleast one key ingredient last few times I used them and it was becoming a nuisance
Discoverd Greenchef and had some hope as it is known more nutrition conscious and different recipes. First box arrived and immediately noticed they forgot to put salmon for the salmon teriyaki recipe. I called them and they cant issue a refund. Only a credit for the next box.. which means I am forced to stay with them for one more box...and the cycle keeps continuing if they forget an ingredient everytime.
The credit amount is also insufficient to cover the cost of 2 salmon pieces (EUR 4.5...... where can i get 240g salmon for this amount?)
100% will discontinue this service.. rubbish

Update: not sure why i was asked to contact customer service. Waste of time because I just went through the same process all over again only to be told they cannot help me more than providing a credit code.

The concept is great and the food is really, really tasty, but the price is way too high for what you get in terms of portion size and fulness. I’m a big-ish guy (180cm 100kg), but it takes me 17€ (i.e. a two person portion) to feel full; (-1 star)

I also don’t like it that they would rather give you too little of an ingredient than too much, for example while cooking a recipe last time, the mayo they gave me was only enough for 4 out of 6 tortillas, and from the other mealkit the mayo was missing altogether. (-1 star)

Another pro worth mentioning is that they get you to try a lot of novel and very nice ingredients

Overall I like the service. Tasty meals, good variety and convenient packaging.
The only thing though, I noticed that some of the ingredients expiry date is less than 1 week (for example, delivery with my 5 meals comes on 23rd and some of the ingredients expire on 28th, which is 5 days). But what if I decided to save 1 of the meals for Sunday instead of cooking Monday-Friday.
Thats a disadvantage, because by the time I opened the meal, meat was already no good.
I would really appreciate if the company could look into this.

We see a good variety in recipes, and we often like the taste of our diner. Is all fine then? Well, we see room for improvement: we would like to see more variety in vegetables, some more attention to the freshness of ingredients, a possibility to increase the quantity to 3 persons (instead of two) and more timely delivery.
Lastly, we would not like to see a further price increase. We think the price of our box is high enough as it is; further increases would turn us into unstable clients.

Great service!! Choose your recipe, and the groceries for it come to your door!! Excellent instructions with pictures how to prepare and you’ve got an original dish on the table!! I love it 😍

The food is delicious and healthy (low carbs). We both love it!!

We’ve been using Greenchef (keto) for 7 months now, and we’re extremely pleased with it!
Plenty of choises, good quality products and great recipes.

In order to cancel, you apparently have to reactivate your account and wait thirty days for a formal deletion of your account. Sneaky enough for them to charge you for a box of food, which of course was not coming until you were made to reactivate. Cancelled in the first place because the food was poorly preportioned and the quality is no better than Albert Heijn, particularly the meat. Don't bother, a truly useless service which creates more hassle than its worth when you try and leave.

Portions are way too small. Me and my girlfriend have way too little food every time. (We are both average eaters)

GreenChef offers Keto recipes which is great and makes eating keto much easier. THOUGH, I have seen all recipes already since there is not a lot of variety.
Plus, and even more importantly, the recipes include a lot of less healthy fats (Omega 6, like sunflower oil etc). When offering keto you should also do it the right way, and not choose for the cheaper option. The box costs enough money so you should expect that.

Recently waited at home for a projected 3pm food delivery. SMS messages said delivery was delayed while Green Chef "volg mijn box" kept saying delivery was coming. Never arrived. Customer care said they would refund the charge. Instead, the following week's box was not charged but I had to pay Euro 5.99 as a "delivery fee" - seriously? Oh, and that box was left on our neighbor's doorstep.

We've seen highs and lows with Green Chef, but never consistency - which makes it hard to want to remain a client.
