Really happy with the variety of meals to chose from.
fresh ingredients, a lot of vegetables and easy to make.

Need more recipes
We are up to 31 boxes so far and we don’t have too many complaints. Items are usually fresh and the recipes are tasty, we love many of them and repeat. (We focus on low carb/keto) But the one thing we’d like to see improved is the variety or quantity of recipes. We have used another competitor and despite leaving because there was a real issue with freshness of produce, the recipes were plentiful every week. More to choose from each week and more in the library rotation. We miss that.

I love the recipes
I love the recipes. They are versatile and diet-proof. However, often times I find that ingredients are missing (all communicated and compensated) which is a bit annoying. The amount of packaging is also something I am less a fan of.

Thank you for your review. We're glad you're enjoying it! The portion sizes of our meals are based on the Dutch Dietary Guidelines from the Health Council, which include approximately 100g of meat, fish, or plant-based protein, around 150-200 grams of vegetables, and a carbohydrate source.
We understand that everyone has different needs. Did you know that we offer certain dishes where you can add extra meat or fish? This might be a solution for you!

Nice to have the opportunity to order low carb dishes. HelloFresh was my preferred supplier but changed it to Greenchef. The quality is the same and the recipes are great!

Oustanding credit
Hi, I love the food however I am so disappointed in how you deal with outstanding credit, which is now more than 96 euro! I can only submit this when there is no discount active. Guess what: even when I specifically asked your customer service to delete those, there is still one popping up and I still can not 'cash' those 96 euro's. It is so much money and I feel a bit 'kept on a leash'.

Very happy with the Vegan box!! Love the recipes and the fact that you can swap/replace dishes beforehand via the app if you don’t like something. Always super fresh veggies and the portions are more than enough. This has made my life so much easier!

Actually very happy with greenchef
Actually very happy with greenchef, have had other boxes from hello chef and Marley spoon before but the quality of food is definitely better than in most supermarkets. Also love the small gifts now and then :) delivery is also just as expected. I do feel that the actual prep time is sometimes at least 10 min more than it says.

We do not like additives in products and limit their use. As a result, some products, such as fish and meat, have a limited shelf life. We therefore recommend that you prepare your meals in this order: first fish, then meat and finally the vegetarian recipes. This way you eat the products that have the longest shelf life at the end of the week. If you prefer to eat a dish with meat or fish a little later, these products can also be frozen.

Great recipes
The recipes are great, i'm eating food i had never tried before.
Only thing is that sometimes i'm getting to much of one product when i don't need it. I have to throw that away because i don't have any use for it and sometimes i just miss ingredients.

GreenChef tries to use as many regional products as possible, but unfortunately this is not always possible. Some products, such as certain herbs and fruit and vegetables, are not grown all year round in the Netherlands due to the different seasons. Our growers do their utmost to make the growing season in the Netherlands as long as possible. In the months when it is not possible to grow in the Netherlands, we have to rely on countries where this is possible. As a result, your GreenChef Box may contain ingredients that do not come from the Netherlands.

The food is ok
The food is ok, it's the convenience that helps. After a while, the recipes start to get repetitive. Customer service responds quickly. The bad thing is the app, it happened to me 3 times in total that you pause your box for the week but the food still comes. You still have to pay. When it happened to me once I thought maybe it was my fault but it happened again. It's not worth it.
